Hello Tyson, just got here and I can already tell it’s a great vid. So close to 10k! Keep up the good work! Sorry I didn’t watch the other vid u posted but I’ll watch that now! Awesome work Tyson
How did you access that location. It looks like there is a winding dirt path off Cornwall road just south of Ashcroft ? Last time we were out that way we tried to find a road to Coho, but had no luck
I’m curious to what that flashing “T” means on that signal at the beginning. Normally that aspect would be a restricting signal without the flashing T. I’m assuming it means there’s a train coming the other way and modifies the signal into a Stop indication.
If you are talking about the black cars with the white tops, they are used for hauling ore. There is a very large copper mine (Highland Valley Copper) close to where this video was shot. There is probably 20+ cars like this loaded every day in Ashcroft.
Really great shots! That first consist was amazing, and the second location was gorgeous! I must admit, the second one was a bit too high up for me to ever try... 😋
Any idea what the axle count was on that first train? I’m guessing it was well over a 1000! As always, the rugged scenery is stunning as well as the lengths and slow speeds of these monsters…
@@thompsonriverrailfan Potash on CN usually runs around 9k feet due to their weight, not uncommon though to see them break 10k feet. They’re easily near the top of the list of heaviest trains we run. Plus I have seen a train go over 1000 axles only once in my career (send a 11k foot train of only 30ft sand cars). Lots have gotten close though.
Wonderful place, thanks for the pictures. Strong hug
Thanks for the support Cesar
Another excellent video, love seeing those ex CitiRail units running point, and coming out of a tunnel is bonus points! Great Video!!!
There are so many ex CITIRAIL’s on CN right now it’s spectacular! Love the yellow stripes on the dark blue/purple.
Amazing video. Trains everywhere!
Thanks Valerie this is one of my favourite times from last year!
Pure power!!!-- love it!!!!
Thank you for watching!
Big massive trains . Great shots.

Right on, good morning
Beautiful scenic coverage
Thanks for watching Justin!
That Potash train was IMPRESSIVE. That's definitely what I would call a MONSTER train. Great video my friend. Keep up the great work. 😎😎😎
Amazing shot and killer lash up with the ex CITX and the H2 AC44EV
Really great video my friend! Nice tunnel shots too! 👍🏻

Great Catches!
Nice shots!
Wow that is a totally awesome place to watch trains 🚆. That potash train was so impressive 👏.
DUDE I SAW A GRAIN TRAIN HEADING SOUTH IN GRANDE PRAIRIE WITH 3919 LEADING AND BNSF 5724 TRAILING
I'm glad you also saw it
0:48 I thought EX-Citi Rail locomotives couldn't lead, because they are leased locomotives! but idk if I have been lied to or not
These CITIRAIL units were purchased by CN so they lead all the time now, won’t be long till their all painted in red and black.
Nice job!
Thanks Alik for your comment!
Amazing train video!!
14:26 is the best. Awesome video
Excellent footage🌈🌈🚂🚂🙋🙋👍👍
Awesome video!!! Love seeing them come out of the tunnels and the tracks right beside the water! Amazing location!
That’s my favourite part to! Thanks for watching
Good very good
During the opening scene, is that a flashing "T" on the signal for tunnel?!
No I don’t believe so as I have seen these places without tunnels. Thanks for watching!
Wow is that a great location you have
Beautiful
Thanks Jesse

It stands for Tyson of course!
probably Train
Interesting. Thanks for the info!
Amazing area, but where in BC is it? (You need a wind sock or whatever it's called. Too much wind noise.)
For this location it is a must but most times I’m not dealing with wind. Thanks for watching!
Citi Rail just updating its loco's, or are they done?
CN bought them out I believe either that or bought a bunch and patched them for now!
I thought those Auto racks weren't going to clear in that tunnel portal
If double stacks fit anything fits 😅
Love you you.
Thanks for the support
and a bonus Ex Citirail DPU!!!
No CN colours in sight! Although CN does own these CITIRAIL units now or at least some of them.
Eu adoro trem
What are the cars with the white structures in the first video used for?

I would say maybe about 700 at the most, I’ve never heard of a manifest train that has 100 axles with only three units for power
I think the second one is longer, so fascinating to see.
@@robruitenbeek4063 yes the potash trains are usually much longer than most trains
@Bruce Burgoyne This train was 642 axles and I have most the train details below in the description with a time line. Thanks for watching!
