Couple questions:- Do you live in the United States and if so, where do you get the bike serviced? (Ducati Dealership, third party service shop, or yourself) If you do servicing yourself…. Where do you order you parts? What are the key main things that I should keep an eye out for on my 748? I have a 1998 748 mono that I just purchased.
I think he's from the UK. I'm from Australia and order parts from my local shop, but there are places like AMS Ducati that you can order from in the US. If you're planning to do your own work, find the workshop manual online in PDF (for free) and get 'The Ultimate Ducati Desmo Manual' it has everything you need to keep your bike in top shape. I wish I knew of that book earlier.
I'm in New Zealand, and do most of the servicing myself. Lots to look out for on these bikes. I suggest you have a look at some of the buyers guides online. Gotham Cycles in FL have lots of service parts and great customer service. Here's a good article on oil for the Ducati, which I follow. www.sigmaperformance.com/rockers.html
Va talmente piano che con un nubifragio vado più forte... Tira ste marce e sfrutta la pista.... Mi auguro sia stato un giro per vedere i problemi del motore agli alti regimi... Mah

Old 748s with unsuitable enlarged exhausts crash at 5000 rpm for a fraction of a second. I recommend a dyno test because for me it lacks horsepower. Delivery at high rpm is not smooth and delayed. I really hope I'm wrong but I don't think so. Best regards.
Who needs massive HP when your riding a sweet bike like this 748!
Thanks mate!
Smooth! Good skills!

@@adamroper1197 no problem at all, and thanks
That was fun to follow, good riding and a very nice bike! Hope to own one some day. 😀
Thanks! Now is the time to buy. My bike cost me less than $USD 5k
Very nice! 748 power💪🏁
Thanks, I appreciate it.
Race credibility .... how easily one can remove the mirrors on the 748.
Following a cement dust trail over a constant oil spill would un-nerve me somewhat.
I didn't even remember that. LOL. Must not have been slippery at all.

I'm not sure if the translation was accurate, but it seems you have nothing positive to say.
@@Pstaines439 Il motore non funziona bene. Non sale di giri come dovrebbe. È lento, quando molli il gas di sente un problema....
@@giulianonak279 Wrong. The engine is in fine health. Maybe its the audio quality. No surprise your 1000cc Firestorm is faster doh.
