I've taken classes and just not comprehended the whole icon concepts. but with the videos you have given me the start/stop/go back and do it again feature, your a fabulous teacher. Thank You! I went straight and designed/quilted my first piece, it turned out beautiful. I'm extremely happy with my new skill! I purchased my Solaris Visionary 6-8 months ago. With this series I am just now beginning to learn how to optimize the machine and what its created to do for me. My Solaris is exactly like your and that makes it even better. Now to master my Destiny II.

I have been wondering how I would use the quilting fills to quilt my sandwiches. Thanks for this in depth tutorial. I can't wait to use the rose motif on something. I use my embroidery machine to quilt all my mid to smaller projects. It is one of the reasons that I bought the Solaris and then upgraded to the Vision. Can't wait to try this.

Lori, do you ever use KK2000 to hold the layers together? I just did a small quilt and I basted it together with needle and thread before quilting it. I was doing stitch in the ditch along lines. Love your videos. Thanks.
Hi Jan 💜. It’s been quiet a long time since I have spray basted. I have before. I find when I’m quilting like in this video I don’t need to. I don’t find my layers shift. In the past when I have hand quilted that’s when I have basted. :)

You can not use edge to edge brought in designs within IQ designer but you could use your camera scanning feature for placement. Also the Baby Lock Solaris has an Edge to Edge category and feature that was added with past couple of upgrades. This may be something you may want to explore if you have that machine. :) glad you enjoyed these tutorials.
