Love the effectiveness of the simplicity. Gives me hope!
Just your solo merits a thumbs up.
Tony is the MAN!!! I’d love to learn more from you
I’ll pay
Awesome !! Its strength is retaining ambiance, running vibrantly below the cover of tensions. The key to it is simplicity, with punctuation, certainly.
You should be a household name IMHO, Tony. I don't think you realise how good you are, at the piano and singing. You are literally a 'killer' keyboardist, (pardoning the pun and alliteration) :-).
Thank you for uploading all of your jazz tutorial videos onto YT. Much appreciated.
12:10 or so... LOL!! That was funny!! Made me laugh. Even made my wife laugh. Thanks, Tony! We just did this one at the "Jazz Jam" a few days ago. Thanks for the thoughts on improv, the song will likely come up again.
Another beautiful moment with your video for this cloudy sunday... Thanks Tony. :)
Hello Tony, I cannot believe that I had not found you earlier. These are some of the best videos breaking down jazz/blues to digestible bits that I've ever come across. I'm working from top to bottom through your playlists. Thank you so much. I ran into your site looking for information on my Yamaha ES8. Do you have any info on your set up....ES, foot pedals, computer/DAW, microphones, mixers etc. I want to optimize my set up and would love to see how you've arranged your tools.
I use the foot pedal - the FC7 i think for volume - like to fade strings in and out behind piano and other volume functions. I never used a DAW with it - I do have a small studio running Digital Performer but I usually just recorded audio - I know there's a lot you can do with the LAN interface but I just used midi or audio. My patches are available on a few of the ES videos I made. I'm on to the Yamaha MODX now but the ES still has some of my favorite sounds so I have the ES rack.
Gret Improvisation!!! I am going to seek your solo out again!
very handy tips. killer tony. harpooned me.
I’m just practising this song. Great ideas with your good taste and elegance. Thanks again Tony for sharing with us your music and your soul. May I ask you any suggestions on Bemsha Swing? Thanks anyway and best regards from Spain
I didn't know this song, but I listen to Three versions and I love it
@@TonyWinston I’m glad to hear that. Let me suggest you, in case you don’t now it, the version than my compatriot Chano Domiínguez made it ruclips.net/video/lKdkshrRHMc/видео.html. Enjoy it
BRILLIANT!!
Yeah!
Hey Tony...at 8.08 you worked out that little chord movement, but didn't explain what the pianist did. Were they moving up using diminished block chords? Thanks, Sean
Nice
