And if you’re seeing adds every 5 minutes that sounds like a you problem, either get an ad blocker or premium and then you don’t see any ads. As Jeff said, Exodia’s not a good deck for a YCS. It’s not consistently good so in a gauntlet like YCS it’s not gonna perform spectacularly. It is very hype though.
I don't agree. Of course, Exodia is the most famous and nostalgic alt-win-con-card. People just love it. However, all the other alt-win-con-cards are at least as janky as Exodia. I'm convinved that a Flying Elephant FTK or the mentioned Musical Sumo Dice Games FTK would also be fun to watch and loved by the crowd
If Jeff can beat a YCS with destiny board he deserves to have a seat at Konami's board of directors and mystic mine + terraforming and metaverse back at 3.
Honestly this deck is so cool, the fact that it goes through Fusion, Synchro, XYZ, Pendulum AND Link summoning to get the old school favourite Exodia makes this one of the coolest FTKs, piloted by the legend himself no less. Would for sure be an anime moment if they somehow made this combo into production.

I knew that Blue Dragon Summoner would one day be the key piece into a winning Exodia deck! Ever since I first discovered it back in Duel Links, I noticed its distinct lack of "once per turn" and the incredibly generic search it did and I thought: "what if I used it for Exodia?" Sadly, Duel Links at the time was nowhere even close to having the auxiliary tools for that but seeing it turn true like this was a delight!
When mystic mine was banned, Jeff has the only one I felt bad for. But after seeing that match more than once and this deck profile and combo, I don't feel bad anymore. This man is a Legend!!!!!!!

last time i played there was one thing you could do which i was a big fan of: playing instant fusion not only as extender but also to bring out millenium eyes restrict to counter handtraps if needed.
Love to see it - for me this is like a whose who of "My deck isn't functioning - what can I put in to make it work". The deck list is tight, though since I'm somewhat familiar to toying around with modern Exodia I'll just offer a few ideas to try out (though I doubt they would do anything but clog up that there well oiled machine of a deck - not to mention many of them are probably just too obvious to have not tried already and found lacking): Artifact Durendal (Rank 5) Can be awkward to get into, but I always love to see this when my opening hand is atrocious. Typhoon (Trap ; side deck) Not sure what your out to Anti-Spell Fragrance is, but I reckon this would do it. Does turn offline the Phantom Knights trap if you use it, but I love using this to out Anti-Spell Fragrance and Secret Village of the Spellcasters - few people seem to see it coming and it can double as disruption if you are up against a familiar Spell/Trap reliant matchup. Twin Twister (Side deck) I am honestly surprised this deck didn't run into issues with Anti-Spell Fragrance or Secret Village of the Spellcasters, not as fancy an out as Typhoon (can't deal with Secret Village after all) but its the old reliable that out-lived the old-old reliable of Mystical Space Typhoon. Link Spider (Link 1) Unclogs a multiple Exodia piece opening hand into two monsters on the field - though doesn't work for the Fobidden One himself. Also deals with Tokens that can clog up the board. Artemis the Magistus Moon Maiden (Link 1) Sometimes you really just need a way to get Blue Dragon Summoner back in the grave. Rekindling (Side deck) This is honestly just a meme, but if you get a Nibiru sitting on your field... your deck does play a good quantity of FIRE 200 DEF monsters, and resolving this often gets people to lose their minds as a Soul Charge at home. Trishula, the Dragon of Icy Imprisonment (Fusion) More straight-up coping than a meme, but I love this guy as an out to having my board flipped face-down. Cross-Out Designator (Side deck) In case you really need an out to Dimension Shifter, though it does require playing Shifter yourself... which sometimes wins games on its own, so honestly I see it as a win-win. (Until you get Dimension Shifter in your opening hand, but at least the Igknight scales can summon it and Selene can use it to try and salvage a dead combo.) Chaos Hunter (Side deck) If you just absolutely hate having all your cards banished. Saryuja Skull Dread (Link 4) This guy has honestly saved me more games than I care to admit. Daigusto Emerl (Side deck) If your opponent loves hand ripping and any finds they struggle to recover. I tend to play more than just the one Infernoble Arm equip spell, but really I'm just happy to see the one getting use. Thanks for sharing this, love to see fellow Exodia solitaire enthusiasts. xD

It's so funny to me the fact that people even try to make Exodia in 2023. And I'm totally okay with it: being burned to death, being locked out of playing, etc those are boring losing to Exodia is actually exciting. Haha
I actually made this deck in 2019, it was slightly different, using Mali and union carrier before it was banned to equip witch to mali and tribute it with sword of sparkles to search the head lol.
Konami should just leave this deck intact just for the pure spectacle of it. i mean, its not unbeatable. Its just consistent enough. We all should just accept this as a "fair" exodia deck and commission Konami you not touch a single card in it.

This guy inspired me to make a exodia deck and boy do I love it. Named it “Grqndpa’s deck” as a nod to both grandpa moto and this guy
Konami should just leave this deck intact just for the pure spectacle of it. i mean, its not unbeatable. Its just consistent enough. We all should just accept this as a "fair" exodia deck and commission Konami you not touch a single card in it.
