SOLUTION
1. Turn off Controller and Spark
2. Turn on Controller
3. Reset Controller (long press for 9 second Power Button)
4. Turn Off Controller
5. Turn On Spark
6. Long press on Battery button for two beeps (6 second)
7. Turn off Spark
8. Turn On Spark
9. Long press on Battery button for three beeps (9 second)
10. Turn Off Spark
11. Turn On Spark
12. Once Again press on Battery button for two beeps (6 second)
11. Then (without turn off) press on Buttery button for 1 beep (3 ceconf)
12. Turn on controller
13. Press tre battons Red Pause + Fn + Right Custom button till you hear short beeps and green sparking light
14. They connected in my case!

Had the same issue with spark. What worked for me after talking to DJI support: when you reset spark's wifi settings with 3 beeps (holding power for ~9 seconds) turn it off immediately once you start seeing spark LEDs blinking green! Don't wait and just turn it off once it starts blinking green. Then, when you turn it on again, give it a few seconds to warm up and start, and hold power for 3 seconds. After that controller pairs to drone no prob in a standard way (3 buttons pressed at the same time). works like a charm.

Thing i did is turnoff the spark and turn-on the RC and holded it for first beep then enter the password and it is connected

I struggled for 1.5 hours then tried what u said in the description.
Steps 5,6,7 are not required. The main goal is to reset both devices and turn them off. Then turn on drone ONLY, switch it to expose WiFi mode(two beeps), switch it to link mode(one beep) and only than turn on controller and switch controller to linking mode. But, great thanks anyway - it was very helpful!

Follow the below steps from 1 of the member, it solved my problem which was same as your...
Read it first from 1-9. You should follow exact steps step-by-step to succeed.
1. Power up your Sparky.
2. Press Power button 9 seconds (3 Beeps)
3. Restart your Spark (power off and on again)
4. Press Power button 6 seconds (2 beeps)
5. Restart your Spark.
6. Press Power button 3 seconds (1 beep)
7. Now Power up your remote (just now).
8. Wait till Red light will stop blinking and just remain red.
9. Now press 3 keys on your remote to start the connection.

Travelkolik HU my problem: fly more combo. It was already paired. But no wifi. So I press button on spark for six seconds. Then lights went solid red. I cannot fix the problem now...someone help me please...I’m lost

Do you know how to avoid the reset message at the beginning? The one that says to reset the wlan because of the different country, that basically screws your connection if you press OK (and there's not another button to press)

Merci pour tout, je galère depuis plus de 10 jours avec le même problème, j'ai suivie la procédure de TestAndRest et ça a marché, j'ai juste constaté que cela marche que si il y a une carte mémoire dans le spark, et n'hésitez pas à refaire la procedure si cela ne marche pas le premier coup , mille merci encore :)

I had same issue...controller would not connect to aircraft and was beeping like crazy. I have tried everything but nothing helped. But I saw some warnings on my phone (in app) and that was the key. I had to calibrate aircraft and then calibrate sticks. Follow instructions! After calibrating and restarting aircraft and controller everything was working fine. Controller connected to the aircraft in few seconds and now everything is working perfectly. Hope that hepls you guys as well
Hi,try this procedure.it always works for me:
1. Push the 9sec reset on both aircraft and remote control.
2. Connect aircraft with phone only,go out,wait to get GPS locked,then push auto take off.wait a fee second,then land the aircraft.
3. Go inside,link the remote with aircraft again.
Always works for me when aircraft and remote cannot link.
Yesterday was trying all day to fix the pairing problem. Brought my combo from Singapore to Europe. Could not connect the remote with aircraft by all your methods. Problem is that WiFi frequency setting change due to location, frequencies of rc and ac were not the same when I changed location radically. Install fake gps (e.g. floater) fake your location to be e.g usa, connect to drone, - see that u have different frequencies. Pair drone with remote. After binding the floater might be not necessary. No playing with resets might be needed

you need to switch wifi to 2.4ghz by holding power AC botton in 6 sec or wait until you heard two beeps. then try to link again. by holding pause+fn+fn2 on RC. And then on AC for 3 sec or one beep. no need to reset setting holding for 9 sec or three beeps

After connecting to your phone you always have to hold the drone power button until you get 2 beeps after connecting to your phone to get it to pair back with the remote, I think that was the major step that caused the issue.

All you have to do is the 2 buttons on the front of the controller and the right rear button on top the back one hold all 3 of them down at the same time and it will bind to the drone

It sucks to pay $399.00 plus tax for a drone that is pure hell to get the controller connected. The spark should sell for $3.99 not $399.00.
turn drone on then RC- Press and hold for 3 secs the drone - release when it beeps & the red lights are blinking-Then on RC press function, , pause and the custom button at the right back together at the same time - The RC light should go green you are now connected
When connecting turn off your modules phone data then back on after it connects, works for me.

My spark's RC is now in 5.8 GHz.i tried a lot to change to 2.4 GHz.but it is still in 5.8.i discussed with dji support and they told me to do so many things.still it is in 5.8.can u help me to solve the issue.in our region only 2.4 GHz
I need help with this I tried all these steps but my spark will not beep after 3 seconds. It’s brand new (fly more) the controller connects to phone perfectly
Down grade the spark then connect it to controller. After that u upgrade the spark
amty lolo: I can not down grade. only at the highest fw.
Thichu Giang there is a way to downgrade through the dji go app. Search for it.

Having issues myself, however I'm not getting mine to even start the linking process, I just get 1 quieter beep and the led continues to flash red. Anybody have this happen!? Any help is greatly appreciated!!
You are doing the binding wrong, read the remote control manual, it states very clear how to bind remote to Spark Switch the remote on. Now press the pause button (red one) and the FN button and right back button at the same time, and hold till remote starts beeping. Now switch on the Spark and let it bootup now press and hold the battery switch for 9 seconds until you hear 3 beeps in total and the binding with the remote will start. When the light on the remote goes green binding is succes

This is an issue. I called tech support. They told me to use otg cable. With otg works perfect
question is how to cmplain about it when it disconnects during flight?
i read people losing their drones due to remote issues, no mods all stock, yet with more then 50% battery life the remote alerts a autopilot fly away, does not RETURN TO HOME, disrupts the flight logs showing the aircraft i in perfect condition, perfect day and less then 200m away yet DJI says they can only offer these victims 30% off on another purchased giving them little time to decide.
If you buy a car and it drives away due to break issues, motor issues etc and no wrong doing was done on the drivers part before a crash or fall of a cliff is it not the manufactures fault when they dont know what caused it?
How can they sell a drone, have all the flight data and not know it was caused by the remote itself,
After reading several threads i also realized DJI is tealing with Apple who cyber bullies critics about bugs or issues which 9 out of ten times where all RECALLS., they mock, insulted , gaslighted and even blamed the victims of fly away drones to close the threads,
Imagine the threads dating back 5 years with comments until date of more and more pilot horror stories been told its an old issue DJI fixed....you did not get this with the GopRo Karma..
Class Action is the only way to deal with companies that abuse their customers and put the public at risk (which is the reason i personally think DDJI would never admit their remotes are faulty at times)

I had this problem when i first recieved my remote controller. i just repeated the linking process over and over until it eventually connected. took over a hundred tries. now i got the regions message again and accidentally pressed ok. it destroyed the link and now i cant pair the aircraft and remote again
been updating and downgrading the firmware. it does absolutely nothing. just a time waster that the dji support wants you to do to get you off the line.
