Trying to Break the Off-road Go Kart!

- In this video we hoon the offroad go kart to see if it breaks! The reason we are doing this is to be sure that it is completely solid and functioning as a go cart before we strip it down and paint it. Previously before driving this we gave it a brand new Predator 212 motor, mud terrain tires with v-treads, auxbeam led lights, as well as a battery and some go power sports performance products. This thing does really well in the water and mud so be sure to stay tuned to see this thing in the future!

Gonna need a snorkel kit and converter cover to keep the belt dry so it don't slip alot and change to a lower gearing and it will do just fine

Spray some tack spray on your belt will keep it gripping in water. Kinda like rubber cement spray but much much thinner and water proof

Get a bigger sproket on the axle too much acceleration not enough room for the toqure converter to actually work
Not sure if its fast enough to really send it, but it was cool! (really possible the belt was slipping from being wet or the torque converter clutch needs different springs or something seems to really sound like a lot of slipping somewhere)...
its get wet because they not install the cover of the conveter
Change TAV red spring for a Yellow Comet spring. Use the tightest hole when you put it back together. It will climb hills better.
I had one of those drive clutches come off and the weights flew apart right under my leg. It blew the cover right off of it and they still flew 20 feet. It was violent. Luckily nothing hit me they are dangerous. I never run without a cover. Plus as you could tell they dont like to get wet
Add a cover to your torque converter keep er dry good to go

You can't get the torque converter wet it will slip really badly
Love the truck but not a fan on the airbags
Put the air filter up higher because you don’t want to get water into your engine

Talentless Cult making a high quality one can cost a lot too. My advice is find a frame for 50-100 dollars and build it from there
Wish I knew what kind of kart this is. I have this identical one waiting for my 16 hp duromax to come in.But there are no markings of I'd on it left. Would love to know what kind of kart I actually have lol.

def should have installed the torque converter cover.. u got that belt so wet it doesnt wanna do anything....

If the belt gets wet it’ll slip if your gonna off road it put a clutch on it so the water doesn’t effect it

Lift the motor up higher to keep the belts try. Run a chain & sprocket from what is currently your driveshaft to a new one. Massive sprocket. No speed, but it will crawl for days

Torque converter doesn't like the water why would u drive it through there
belt is slipping. tires weren't spinning most of the time. blue smoke at the 6 minute mark.

It would of done better if the belt had a cover to keep it dry
Take the governor out of the motor will be faster a little and get rid of the dumb torque converter and get a disk clutch way better and won't slip

I have an idea instead of trying to break it you can give this to the people who can't get it. like me I've been trying to get one for the longest but they get really expensive.
Nobody is just going to give you a go kart you have to earn it and work for it like everyone else

Belts dont like water or mud. Yank that garbage converter off and straight chain it with a metal converter for chain
Torque converter belts and water don't mix well.

Has a winch on his jeep ties a rope and pulls it out using the engine instead
You obviously have never owned a winch. Either that or you don't properly wrap the cable back up every time after you use the winch. If you take care of your winch so it will work when you REALLY need it, you will wrap it back up perfectly every time. Plus you have to clean the cable out to keep it in good shape. It is much easier for a lightweight vehicle like this to just use a small tow strap, which if he truly offroads he should have had one instead of that tiny rope. I have a 12k winch, but I mainly use my 10 Ton tow straps to pull out trucks and SUVs, but I have a 5,000 lb smaller strap with hooks on the end to hook on to small cars and cross overs that do not have tow points. Only time the winch comes out is if I am stuck or someone else is stuck REALLY BAD.

The gear is to small on the axel put a bigger one go up about 15 teeth
