For someone who wonders what that shaman scene means: previously Dong-Eun threatened the shaman that she witnessed (or know) the murder of Hyun-Nam's husband. So she made the shaman to have a fake show in front of Yeon-Jin by acting like So-Hee's spirit. First the shaman mentioned the name badge which is Dong-Eun made her say it, but after that shaman says if she should take her clothes off which is only between Yeon-Jin and So-Hee. Dong-Eun knows nothing of the clothes thing. You could distinguish the accent slightly changed, so the shaman actually tried to fake it but she eventually got the real spirit summoned (she is a weak shaman due to her corruptions and sins but still she IS a shaman). after that the shaman faced the spirit of So-Hee. shaman died as a punishment from her god(s), and for sure Yeon-Jin couldn't resist. but the reason why Dong-Eun shocked and cried, is that she felt So-Hee's ongoing pain even after death, without rest in peace. Dong-Eun said in other scene that she felt like So-Hee had been making her sleep and feel better(maybe before this scene?). Not sure Dong-Eun really felt sth spiritual, but it is obvious that Dong-Eun felt So-Hee's pain deeply all of a sudden at an unexpected moment.

Shaman is just a trickster. She's not a shaman but she can see spirit of dead people and she uses that for making money.Shaman is not a thing that normal people can do but lots of people find Shaman when they are at there worst .In Korea there's so much trickster playing Shaman and normal people can't distinguish them. That part shows that well
In front of Yeon-jin, the shaman acts as if she was possessed by So-hee's soul. The situation itself seems to have been driven by Dong-eun, who knows that the shaman participated in Yeon-jin's mother's planned murder, to pressure Yeon-jin. However, the shaman even tells the story of "taking off her clothes." Since this is a conversation between the two on the day Yeon-jin killed So-hee, Dong-eun doesn't know. It's a difficult scene to explain unless she was actually possessed by So-hee.
Remember when she was acting like a child in front of her parents? She is no longer stable but yeah I did not see that coming too. This drama is just 100% rollercoaster ride! One of the most heartbreaking moment was when her partner in crime asked her how she was when she was young girl and the flashback, she was a kind beautiful smart cheerful and talented young girl and they destroyed her. She didn't even deserved it, oh man that hit me hard, this F-ing drama is making me teary eye! Lol! Episode 15 was just heartbreaking from the start to finish.
I feel like the shaman had it coming for her too. Idk anything about these things, but perhaps she'd been so blinded by money that she messed with the wrong 'forces'. I think the first part pretending to be Sohee was an act, then she saw something fr got poisoned for messing around.
That's exactly it! She pretended to channel Sohee - likely bribed by Dongeun, but then Sohee's ACTUAL ghost was there to punish her, which is what Shamans receive for falsifying their rituals!
I feel like the way the ending to this episode is edited makes a lot of people get lost in translation, bc the vibe you get from the way the scene is playing out is that yeojeong has manipulated dongeun somehow by hiding the fact that he had a connection with sohee's mom, when the reality is that this is the scene that proves he's an even bigger and more selfless hero and lover than we had previously imagined. What dongeun asks him at the end is basically "did you know I approached you in order to use you all along?" and the answer is yes, his love for her and his decision to help her and sohee's mom preceded everything, even dongeun's own decision to start using him. He didn't fall in love with her because she manipulated him, he'd always known all along and had always loved her entirely of his own accord. It's just that the subtitles aren't clear enough at indicating this, so even though the final scene shows dongeun being awestruck by him bc she can't believe he'd do all this for her, the vibe some people might get bc of the translation, the editing, and the music is that "dongeun is confronting yeojeong about something he did that she isn't happy about."

That guy is super sociopath or psychopath or even a narcissist. Instead of thinking the doctor is supposed to meet up with his son but he is here for him when no one wants to help him, the guy thought okay I am dying here and the doctor is worrying about his son eating an instant noodle ? I would like to see this great son he is talking about. And then later he blames his son for his action because they have no remorse no empathy no gratitude only see and care about their feelings. This is how they really are in real life too.
