    I used this recipe several times now. It comes out perfect each time. I used oil instead of ghee and cashew yogurt. This way my vegan son and others can enjoy it too.

    Don't know how I lived without this for so long! I make dog food for 2 of our dogs ruclips.net/user/postUgkxG-7WiT7ocumjytOpHDFt632PL0pxXRAg (we have 5!) and it is so much quicker in this. Love having the inner pot stainless so I can use my immersion blender right in it without worrying about scratching. It makes potatoes great and fast! Still working on the vegetables, first time came out great, second time I did different ones and they were a little too mushy. Just need to adjust the time. I highly recommend this pot!!!

    Another great recipe ! Turned out excellent. The instant pot didn’t come to pressure and very slight burning at the bottom. But it cooked perfectly. I transferred the biryani right away to larger glass containers

    Thanks .the biryani turned out to be awesome. I used 2 1/2 cups of water for 2 cup rice and I high pressure cooked for 6 minutes.

    I followed the recipe verbatim. In my case I got a message 'burn food'. I just added another 1 and half cup of water to see if the issue is going to be fixed.

      Update: I tried this 3 times and it burnt 3 times. I am trying a different strategy this time. Shall update if it works.

      Update2: This time I fried vegetables separately and poured them on top of water & rice. Same result.

      Same experience. I wonder if low pressure , keeping still 5 mins might work , I also had more veggies than in the recipe, that could be the issue too , I am tryin it, shall update if it works .Instant pot brand

    What is NPR and my instant pot has keep warm feature shall i turn it off and set the pressure cooker setting for 6 mins plz tell

      NPR is natural pressure release, you can turn it off once it is done and wait for the pressure release.

      @GuruRecipes the pressure will be released automatically once I turn off the keep warm feature off currently I have set it to 7 mins on high pressure with keep warm feature on please advice and thank you so much

      That is Natural Pressure Release, let the valve drop off by itself.

    I dont know why my Biryani got stuck and burn at the bottom and cooking pressure couldn't turn on notifying food burn! Please suggest where it could go wrong!

      @@GuruRecipes i used India gate basmati rice. Added more water too but not sure. It was having water on top but burnt at bottom. Can it be possible because i used butter instead of ghee?

      @@khushbujetly If you use butter, mix with oil then it won't burn at the bottom. But that will be during sauté process, 'food burn' indicator is from instant pot setting - check sealing valve is cleaned, sealing ring is placed properly. check this link to get some more tips : instantpot.com/instant-pots-overheat-burn-protection/

      Kavya Jayaprakash Add water:rice in 1:1 ratio and do high pressure with time set to 2 min. It will not burn.
