I'm watching the entire series for the 456592th time (😂) but this time I've noticed one thing that I can't get out of my head... I just finished watching the episode 21 of SG 0 and I really don't get why Okabe had to use the time leap machine and leap over 3000 times to get back from 2036 to 2011 instead of using the time machine that was right in front of him in order to immediately get back to that time with just one leap. Can someone help me understand this?
@@raizendeiluffyrivera7527 I thought about it too but then I realized that when Okabe uses the Time Machine to go search Suzuha and Mayuri who ended up in 18000BC due to insufficient fuel , he leaps from 2025 so this means that the time machine in this timeline was completed way before 2036. However, I thought a lot about this and I came up with two options, the 1st one is very unlikely but I'm almost sure that the 2nd solution is the right one: 1- Maybe the Okabe who died in 2025 didn't managed to complete the time machine before his death because Mayuri and Suzuha were dead while trying to leap with the time machine in 2011 so he was not motivated enough to realize it as soon as possible and, after his death, nobody was able to complete the time machine, that's why after waking up in his 2036's body, Okabe had to use the time leap machine and leap over 3000 times (very unlikely explanation). 2- The time leap machine transfers your consciousness to the yourself of another year while the time machine consists in a physical leap; this means that, if Okabe decided to use the latter solution, he would yes go back to 2011 with just one leap, however, there would be two Okabe; the one who already was in 2011 and the one who arrived from 2036 using the time machine, also, let's consider that there would be two time machines in 2011, the one that Suzuha used to arrive from 2036 and the one with whom Okabe came back from 2036; this whole situation would generate an enormous temporal paradox, that's why Okabe, when he awakes in his 2036 self, cannot use the time machine to directly go back to 2011 but has to leap over 3000 times with the time leap machine instead (most likely explanation). For everyone who is reading this, I'm sorry if this is a long message but since I started to have this doubt only after watching the whole saga more and more, It seemed that this was the only thing of SG I couldn't explain. I think that time machine is not yet complete, see the name of the time machine its c-203 but the time machine suzuha used was 204.
