Great video mate. I put three in the pen next to my dairy. I have six milkers just to make my life easier. I get one full churn each cycle. Must get back to it.
You can use the small feeders to put in the pin with them, saves on wood, Space and still keeps them feed, and you can hook them up to the milk machines and they will milks them automatically ( except when they go to sleep , you would have to re attach them every morning)
Pretty sure they don't eat or drink if their hooked up, but that is some science I should test out 🤔 since I've heard conflicting information from the discord.
Best way I found is do all the fence all the way around or where you want it to go then once you’ve done that choose where the gates go and simply delete a fence
I used this design as a starting point to make a combo milk\cheese\sausage\greenhouse building. It is on a smaller scale so it can be had fairly early in a game but can still be scaled up over time.
I am not an expert at this game with about 5h of playtime. 1. But does every cow need its own feeding trough and water? If not but the radius is small...i could use the trough and water as a wall between each cell. 2. And like the real animal cruelty milk industry you could also make the cells smaller?! Or is the door width the limit basically? 3. Can cows walk down from your raised foundation into the cell? no need to have a door for them then? Keep on mister. it was fun watching:)
The range for troughs is 3 fence lengths. Also they only wat when your in render Distance. Size wise you don't want to smaller than 1x1 if you try to make their pins smaller they can glitch into the fence and die or Despawn. The more troughs the better the game has its issues so just about every one use one of each troughs per 1x1 pin, its become the meta for the game. Also better to not let your animals roam in a field because you would have to build hundreds of troughs.
Well you can keep a male cow in another location and bring it around if you want to have a call but honestly you'll make your money back faster by just buying another cow. Also its good to find a good number where you can handle the milking and cheese making workload without it being too much and make a steady profit than it is to keep up with a large amount of animals that your not turning a profit on and they just end up eating food and lowering your fps.
@@BCGaming05 you are maybe right, speaking of which, do you have a smart way to deal with pigs and beef cows? Is there a building video like this one or something that I missed?
Beef cows i just pile in a barn wait until they reproduce alot then load them on a animal trailer and your truck then shoot them on the hamburger shop square with a good multiplier then skin make sure all the meat is in the square and sell might take you a few trips but it will make you money fast. With pigs I usually stop doing pigs once I get to milking cows.

@@BCGaming05 the couple times I've tried it they have but I could have just gotten lucky idk
That's a great job on the milking factory. I want to use this idea too. Thabk you for showing me.
thaks for the idea of building a raised platform for the milk machine(s)! I'm using that in my next playthrough!
Excellent channel, got some great ideas I have put into my ranch
Thank you so much im glad to hear it.

Nice
at 11:52 they can reach the food and water from behind the fence? Thats awesome to know!! Thank you
Your welcome, just remember 3 foundations is the range so they will even eat through walls or ceilings.

Is there a trick to get the barns doors to attach?
Which ones the barn doors to the barn or the double doors and its frame?
@@BCGaming05 double doors to frame like the one in your milk farm. Those are barn doors right?
@@BCGaming05 never mind. I didn't realize it was the wooden gate needed, not barn doors.
Great ideas, I like your creativity.
But this way they can't breed as there is no males there, any ideas for that?
