Hey Dan, hope you are well. How's the bike build going?

Hi Rob, yes very well thanks! I hope you are and your build is going ok? I have my crank back and looks great, I have loads of upgraded parts for the motor now Inc the 750cc big bore kit mat hing 277 degree race cam etc... I am due to have a delivery from Heiden tuning tommorow that includes my 5th overdrive gear. So I will be putting up a video soon. Its took a while to get all the bits togeather but tommorow I should have 95% of the motor parts I need. Have you got your crank back?

@@danryan4997 awesome! Really looking forward to seeing the build. My crank is back, got stung on import tax but its back with new cam and upgraded springs etc. Builds going well, frame all de tabbed. Now to build the seat pan in and then it can go off to paint. I've got all the parts for the engine build just waiting for more crank casings to come back from vapor cleaning.

Great work glad it's back! Yes I also paid my import tax debt... like you I have also de tabbed the frame and also smoothed down all the welds ready for blasting and powder coating. I have a video started for that also. I will feel much better when the motors complete and running. I have even gone to the extent of polishing the oil return surfaces on the inside of the crank cases so its not all rough..

@@danryan4997 frame takes alot of work doesn't it, the amount of dust etc is awful. I've been taking pictures, wishing I started a video of it all like you. Find it valuable when people like you create the videos, I'm always learning so enjoy watching. That guy in Australia has some great videos on rebuilding the motor... not sure if you have seen that?. My motor is the 840cc version so I'm hoping all is well when I measure barrels etc not sure how many miles it's done with the 840 kit. Will you have electric start or just kick-start? Mine nearly broke my ankle lol

Yes any quick job always ends up being a bigger job like the frame ( very dusty work like you say) but I did enjoy doing it knowing the prep is on point so will look mega when finished. I think I have seen some of his vids actually and glad you like what I have put on so far. Oh wow the 840 is special and not many people go the extra mile to do that with the crank case mods that need doing etc... I will most definitely keep my electric start for sure.

Hi Dan, did you get your crank back OK? Mines in the Netherlands caught up in customs lol

Hi Rob, I spoke to Rick the other day and the crank should be done by end of this week early next week, he had some work on before hand that I was made aware about so knew it would not be done straight the way. When its done I am hoping to get all the bottom end bits sent back with the crank such as gearbox bearing seals etc. Who is doing your crank Rob?

@@danryan4997 Nice one, shouldn't be long for you now then. Mine is at Heiden Tuning in the Netherlands, heard good things so hoping it all comes back safe and sound. I also sent my Camshaft to them and going for the shell1 cam and upgraded springs etc. Been busy building new wheels etc, just trying to do what I can while waiting.

No hope not but I am the same as you with just doing other bits while I wait - next job will be getting this frame ready for powder coating 👍

@@danryan4997 not sure if you are like me but I'm super impatient lol so always chasing to get my parts back. Good plan with frame, I wish I could get mine done but waiting for a tank to arrive and then cutting frame to put a cafe style hoop on the back.
