Saying “the Jumpscares are a little loud” is the same as saying “the animatronics get a bit quirky at night”
Same energy
The robots move a bit at dusk hours
It's the same energy as dinosaur saying "yo guys, do you see that glowing rock up there?"
or saying "the staff bots are slightly unfriendly"
Or saying "I think there's something wrong with these animatronics"
To be honest, scary games are WAY easier to deal with when you’re watching someone who is ALSO scared, because then I can laugh at them instead of cry.
The scariest parts of horror games (atleast to me) is the ambience. The subtle noises and the lack of things happening as I wait for something to happen is horrible. So watching someone else is easier to me because they're talking about life stories, jokes, or strategies for the game.
Yeah
The silence after something scary happens is the worst part. I can’t play scary games alone OR out of a blanket 🤣
Yeah, my sis thinks the same, she makes me play help wanted :)
@@liahmmessinger3753 Absolutely agree. Making it look scary is one thing in a horror game but being able to make it sound scary through just the little things is what sends the most chills for me even the lack of sound does the same thing to me.

What makes TJOC ignited animatronics so scary is that they have that more robotic feel and actually makes you think that they're death machines that can kill you in seconds. The problem with Security Breach was that the animatronics were more flexible and completely clean, which made it feel like they're just walking suits

Well they are part of the official fanverse, so yeah it makes sense.

Keep in mind this is a fan project made for fun, the creator probably doesn't have alot of experiance in storytelling and just wanted to make a game, and the story just justifies the setting, you kinda need to suspend belief in these kinda games, the actual fnaf games have alotta lore, but keep in mind this was a fan project
Its also the same arguement as "why do you have a limited amount of power in fnaf 1? And why do you even need electronically powered doors that die in 6 hours from a bad battery, in real life regulations would prevent that. Suspending belief to enjoy a game is neccesary, it's better to make good game mechanics that are enjoyable than to make boring realistic ones with a subpar story
I always assumed he was talking to him through a baby monitor. It makes more sense than it being pre recorded
For those who don't know, this game is one of the games in the Fanverse, meaning it'll be getting an official remake, "The Joy of Creation: Ignited Edition" that will receive official ports on console, and possibly merch as well.

Spiff, just so you know, there are a few jumpscares and cutscenes you haven't seen, most of them being in the Office and the Basement.
Some of them are regular deaths, but others are unique and worth watching/experiencing.
In Living Room, if Chica *kills* you, you have a cutscene.
You haven't seen the Insanity death in Bedroom. You get a cutscene.
In office, if you don't flash Freddy enough times but reach 6AM, you get one new death and a cutscene.
You haven't died to Chica in Office.
During the second phase of Basement (where you search for items), if you wait too long to go back in the bathroom, an other Endo starts running at you and you have a cutscene after your death. And this is one of the most violent jumpscare in history.
(I believe you haven't died to the Red-Light-Green-Light Endo in Basement, but I'm unsure for this)
In phase 4 of Basement (or number 3) (the long hallway), an other animatronic runs at you to kill you (the one you hear).
(I cannot give a link, if I do, the comment gets taken out)
Do you have links to those unique deaths? I can't seem to find them separately

Some people say this game already gets alot of praise but honestly it deserves all of it, its literally a 2016 fan made project that was made just for fun, yet its better and even more scary than some modern games like security breach which had a big team work on it, rather than fans, not to mention i dont think i seen any bugs in it, this is a 2016 fan game, i remind you

I do love how in all the fnaf games you STOP foxy by looking at him but in joy of creation looking at him gets you killed
fun fact: Office used to be the hardest night, until it got HARD nerfed with changes like:
Bonnie can't kill you unless all the camera's are out
Foxy can only be in 2 rooms at the same time, not all 3
Standing up and sitting down is twice as fast
Freddy spawns much more frequently
The night is a minute and a half shorter
Chica takes longer to crawl out of the wall
Foxy takes longer to appear
Foxy waits before entering the office
Chica's cupcakes can be heard from further away
the cupcakes' volume has been increased too
and also a few other minor things, if you can (because the original download link got replaced with the said newer version), try beating this night on the original release, took some people like 4 hours I think
Pretty sure foxy could spawn on broken cameras before too
Night 2 on relece was insane hard

I think they could have had a level with the free roam in the story mode, woulda been rad.
I dunno. I don't find the Ignited to be very scary - their designs just don't do it, for me. The way they very specifically have random pieces still attached yet are otherwise damaged and burned enough to have entirely lost their shells is just too weird, both in logic and appearance. The Fallen (the endos), however, don't have that problem - and neither does Creation, though he's terrifying in a different way. The basement is certainly the peak of it, to me - changing challenges, cryptic messages, and the variance of each endo's mechanics, as well as them being identifiable, but only barely and only by their damage or specific features. The chase scene in that one, due to being entirely unexpected the first time around as well as the general atmosphere building, is better than the freeroam section, to me.
"there were even rumours of it getting a movie - lmao that's never happening"
Well that didn't age well Spigg XD
You could just complete the first level by laying down and putting a blanket over your face (it’s not an actual feature) but if you do, Freddy won’t see you and therefore won’t want to enter, foxy won’t see your eyes and then go away, Bonnie won’t see you, and chica won’t know you’re there
24:22 I like to think the jumpscare was so aggressive that it shook Spiff’s whole room lmao
Same with 22:20 lmao

So,
Here's an explanation for the endo shimmy because I saw so many people get confused when you managed to pull it off;
The endos can't kill you when you're looking at them, but their collision model stays
The one moved because your camera clipped into the collision model & it made the endo think that it was unobserved, however it registered that it was being watched before it managed to kill you, so you could shove it out of the way and slip by.
It's actually really cool how this game was made and I actually adore that you played it and had fun with it.
Great work on the video too :)
They can kill you if you get too close tho
@@subnauticaispog7580 they can't, there are 2, maybe 3, different endos.
One kills you if you get too close, the other only moves when you're not looking. If they were the first type, the endo shimmy would never have happened
@@kinnie3221 oh I thought that the weeping angel endos would kill you if you touched them, even if you did look at them, kind of like the endos from SB.
@@subnauticaispog7580 (late-ass reply so I don’t know if you found out already but) technically that’s not entirely true. The endos in SB will kill you if you touch them from the front, but in Spiff’s jumpless video he found you can touch the endos from behind and be okay. Then he tried to use one to climb onto and get on top of some boxes to get into Stupid Vent, because of course he did. RIP Butt Strats
For anyone who might be wondering about the 3rd night of the office section of the game and why losing your cams seems better then keeping them, it should be noted that if all 3 cams are broken then foxy can actually spawn even if they're broken. He can only spawn at one camera however and he has to stay there long enough to actually sneak inside to kill you if you figure out which one he's at.
I THINK foxy makes a specific noise when near the door he's behind so even without cameras you can theoretically figure out which one he's behind, ignore it and hope the night ends before he gets inside.
Im guessing that's what happened to spiff. Dunno why losing all 3 cams isn't an instant game over with a Bonnie jumpscare or something, but it is suppose to lead to a guaranteed loss. Foxy is just slow to attack and people usually end up finishing the night before he can attack.
You actually see foxy attack at 19:49 because spiff didn't check his camera fast enough.
When an indie game made by just a handful of people humbles the fuck out of a big studio production...
For the second night Foxy and Freddy both move at the same base speed. They rubberband on each other so they'll always line up after a bit if you don't continually desync them.
Just for anyone curious about how that works.
It's noticeable a couple times in the video, they'll stop to let the other catch up, so slowing one does slow both to some degree. The trick is making sure you don't let one loop all the way back around again, because then you'll just be worse off - they're in perfect sync and closer to the doors.
Can we all acknowledge the fact that this man literally beat the office on accident. He didn't even know that he had to flash Freddy until after he beat it.

To answer the question about Pokémon eating Pokémon, there are a few confirmed to eat others. Heatmoar is a fire ant eater that eats Durant. Zangoose is a mongoose that eats seviper. And, of course, Slowpoke tail.
Edit: So many more listed in the replies! Please check them out.
Don't forget Corsola!
Gen 1 magikarp is eaten by everyone apparently and in new Pokémon snap you see a pelliper eat a finneon or something
I think Meowth's Pokedex entry mentions them stealing Pidgey eggs.
That would make me sad so I'd just feel them our food or like the pokemon food
Slowpoke tail is more of a case of humans eating Pokemon, as well as this Corsola is common prey for water-type Pokemon and Magikarp is eaten by basically any carnivorous creature, including humans.

and the growls and, Idk, roars(?) the animatronics make (Creation's screams in the final night) add so much
also also, every animatronic has their own quirks, and when you lose sanity or 5 am hits, the cutscenes, the secrets I'm in love with this game
My question is how did they make an official game overall worse and less scary than something fan made-
//Oh my god I'm so sorry I ruined the chain of Victoree talking about everything good about the game, I can't believe I'd do that😔
I remember seeing this game for the first time when Nikson (the creator of TJOC, the creator of joy) revealed it and everyone couldn't stop talking about this game.
To see people still playing and enjoying this game just comes to show how much Nikson was dominating the SFM animation community. The visuals are insane.
What’s cool is that in a way he hasn’t even left the audiences sight sorta, while it being less fnaf (up until fazbear fanverse) he did also work on dark deception remake(since the game at least of monkeys and Agatha were actually remakes of the older versions).. honestly could see the inspiration here a little
I'm actually kinda sad he never got to low enough sanity in night one to see the full effects. It's fucking terrifying when you realize that this child you play as has gone so insane that they've started hallucinating blood raining from the ceiling. That's just. So disturbing.
As another commenter on another video put it, "the idea of a child being scared to the point of insanity is terrifying, and this game portrays it so viscerally. Chills."
23:33 "[a movie]'s never happening" lmao that aged better than i could've hoped for
I've never properly watched someone play tjoc and seeing Bonnie fucking vibe check the wife at 14:30 was horrifying and hilarious.
Always have to love that Bonnie busts open the double doors, rushes the wife, and swings at her hard enough to make a sound comparable to smacking two trees together. The guy's like a husband in the '80s.
@@ultmateragnarok8376 Fathers during WW2 when they see their child with a child of a different skin colour (it devalues their life by 500%, you wouldn't understand)
(terrible joke btw)
@@yazidefirenze it was indeed a terrible joke
"vibe check the wife"

“You can’t shut down a server for a single player game”
Me: **Nervously looks at Hitman trilogy**
23:31 "Lmao, that's never happening" Me: Are you sure about that?
I wanted you to play this for so long but i didnt know you already played this thanks for the amazing vids
man these puppets have really gone downhill, from besieging security guards to terrorising a baby
and the worst part: they can't even attack the baby unless certain conditions ate met. like, the guard at least had solid doors, where it makes sense why they couldn't get in, but the baby has curtains, a lamp and, most importantly, the power to lay down and close its eyes.
Animatronics are dumb.
And Chica doesn't even kill you!
@@theshyguy9855 they could just camp outside the door and wait for the power to go down.
@@apairofglasses775 sure, but at least a steel door is a solid reason why an animatronic won't attack you.
a closed curtain stops Freddy? he could tear through that easily?
You don't look at Foxy? Why should he care? Heck, it should be even more reason for him to attack you, you're not even looking at him.
the ways of protection make no sense but solid steel doors make sense. the animatronics don't make sense, nothing does!
and in the first two or three nights Freddy can easily kill you and in another night you literally defend yourself by opening the door and straight up punch him.
Bonnie punches cameras and Foxy is, despite wanting to kill you, nice enough to not show up at deactived cameras. And Chica still can't kill you.
Chica is a glorified stun grenade.
and the endos truly can't decide what they want to do.
nothing makes sense, except that steel doors stop a threat.
(i don't know why I wrote a whole essay)
@@theshyguy9855 i didn't disagree with you about the fact that joy of blah blah doesn't make any sense,i just told you that the animatronics surely must know that when the power goes down, the night guard cant do anything about it and they could just ya know sit in the door wasting his power.
@@apairofglasses775 that sure is something they could do. i mean they already have the patience to try the exact same thing over and over again, so they should have the patience to wait in front of a door
It's so funny, I was literally _just_ talking to Phisnom about this game (he helped Nikson on it), and then I see a Spiff video about it! If you plan to dive into FNAF, you got a bunch of fun stuff (and some stinkers) ahead.
What is gooood TK? Love seeing you participate in the community like this. One of my favorite FNaF-Tubers, for sure.
TJOC lore review?
Oh hi it's you again
Yooo he got verified
Oh hey, you are the guy that made the fnaf sounds video
15:35 yes, actually! And, some Pokémon have notably been eaten by humans as well.
Basculin (both red and blue striped) have different flavors, Corsola is often attacked by Mareanie, pretty much every bug type Pokémon has some sort of predator, and a whole lot more.
I just love how because the endos can't kill you when you're facing them, you can just shove them out of the way and continue
ah, the only FNAF game that actually remains intense and scary despite the age it has. can't say the same for any other one lmao
The official fnaf games can still be intense, but this definitely trumps them on the scare factor
@@scronchgoose7403 yeah, agreed. Idk if you ever played the original version with the free roam, that is easily scarier than any official FNAF game in my opinion. The sound of the giant metal feet banging behind you with the screen shaking is so much more nerve racking than even FNAF 4
I can say that Sister location is still scary. That game actually had a lot of thought and care put into making it scary.
@@TheBluePhoenix008 imo that's the third to least scary game in the series, the first two being security breach and FNAF world but I'll respect your opinion. The game to me wasn't really scary but just boring and dragged on too much. Thankfully the custom night was solid tho, even if it was just patterns and not randomized AI
@@blyat8832 what are you talking about? Help wanted was almost as scary as JOC, and to me the custom night was just for the lore dumps and not the actual part of the game experience. The classic FNAF formula is more suited to survival rather than horror. Well this just proves that people have different opinions
One thing I love about the jumpscares in this game compared to the FNAF games is the screams sound far more mechanical/electronic
I love how the screams are obviously just some guy yelling into a cheap mic
@@Memu_ i love how the entire fnaf sb it doesn't even scarier than a fan game
@@jasgag1217 What are you even trying to say
I think one of the coolest things about this fan game is the sleeping fallen’s jump scare sound. It just sounds so cool for some reason
Spiff: “Lmao that’s never happening”
Everyone: Oh poor spiff, how those words have come to haunt you.
I forgot all about TJOC lol
Glad to see ya play it.
How dare you forget about it!!!
Even just as FNAF 1 was released, people wanted and wondered about a free-roam FNAF game. TJOC was the very first one, trying to innovate in this department and it was pretty good. TJOC has been quite an important element of the community, way before SB, way before the Fanverse.
14:32 bonnie just punches your skull in
14:05 that “close the god damn door Bonnie” sounds so genuine bro.
As a Huge Pokemon Nerd, I can confirm that they do in fact eat Pokemon. Miltank and Torros are Regularly used as livestock Pokemon, Mareep for Wool (Like Sheep), and they eat a lot of the Fish Pokemon, including but not limited to Magikarp.
yep miltank and tauros are used for meat but miltank is basically used as a cow, so they get milk from miltank and in sword and shield, barraskewda pokedex entry says that barraskewda tastes particularly good compared to other fish pokemon. And ofc there are predators and prey, like heatmor eats Durant and Durant use their metal armor to try and protect themselves but heatmor tongue is too hot and it melts their armor and cooks the
Spiff: *Skips call explaining the night* Let's hope he doesn't say anything else important
Spiff immediately after: What do I do
Same though
hella annoying ngl
he has an entire audience to entertain. chat hates when you are focused on Something that isn't them
@@FortuneKOF they're like a giant cat full of around 100+ separate voices all yelling at their owner at the same time
JOC deserves SO much more credit.
Glad to see you giving it a shout out!
Since Scott (FNAF Dev) retired, i think its time for this game gains its popularity and its fanbase back
Rewatching this and hearing "Rumor of a fnaf movie" & spiff then saying "Well that's never happening" makes me giggle cause it is now happening. October 27th
