Thank you! 😃 I've been trying to improve. I learned from the book Forever Fluent that one of the biggest challenges to learning new words and languages is training our ears to hear sounds that aren't present in our native language. I've realllly been feeling that challenge. Half the battle is trying to listen closely to the pronunciations.
Zambales won this round. My personal BS are Taguig & Iloilo
Bacoor was very present and she was enjoying herself.Bulacan was slaying as usual.Baguio,Mandaue and Australia always stand out.Love them all!

One of my pet peeves when watching pageant is when they suddenly tilt their head up... I hope Iloilo will be mindful of that.. she does that a lot

Zambales is looking at the "Best In Evening Gown" Award straight in the eye. MY GOD! This is one of those moments when a designer and a muse truly fused their essences together to present the pinnacle of their partnership. It was so spectacular even spectacular is an understatement.

Obviously that last girl has a very slim waist, you can see it when she's wearing a swimsuit but she was definitely wearing a very tight corset under that gown as well.

Absolutely AGREE on Dani's take for Davao Region's traditionally ethnic looking gown! Some may dismiss it as an intricate local costume. It's a CLASSIC MASTERPIECE though!!!!!!! All the CREATIVE POWER FOR THE DESIGNER and for MUPh Davao Region candidate - you are BOTH WINNERS. God bless

Usually in any pageant you have three or four top contenders but in this year's pageant they are all top contenders...the ladies are definitely bringing their A game. The judges are going to have a difficult time...

I agree with Zambales’ gown. The stone on the butt was a bit weird
I was surprised by Ahtisa’s gown choice as well. I thought it would be something more eye catching and unique.
For the evening gown my top 5 are CEBU, QUEZON PROVINCE, ZAMBALES, PAMPANGA, and PALAWAN. Special mention to LAGUNA, PASIG, CAMIGUIN and TALISAY.

Taguig's gown is designed by Mark Bumgarner. Who also designed Michelle Dee's MUPH'23 Prelim & Finals Gown, & as well as her gowns in MU'23 Prelim & Finals.
Most of Bumgarner's designs have exquisite fabrics and perfect cuts and fit to accentuate each of the women's body.

I personally liked very few of the gowns, especially the final one. I like plainer gowns, too much glitz and glitter on most for me.

@@DaniWalker its the second edition! The winner gets the title of MISS GRAND INDONESIA and they have 5 runner up's and will compete in antoher "minor" pageant such as miss aura and miss elite etc.

Especially is you following another beauty pageant in Indonesia like Putri Indonesia etc. And I personally just want to hear your oppinion bout it!! Something I have noticed in these big international pagrants...a lot of neck and arm jewelry/gloves, and some gowns don't touch the floor...plus all of the arm movements and touching/moving/flipping the hair. In my experience in local/regional/state pageants all of these things are major point deductions. How does one stay up to date on the new trends without getting points deducted?
