The best people I have ever been around are the motorcycle community. In turn, I see improvements that I need to make and have become a better person myself. Never been happier in my life
Well said man. I feel the same way.
I hear you about the raingear!!! My buddy and I just got home from Milwaukee. On the last day of our ride there, we rode from Dubuque IA to Milwaukee on Wednesday 7/12, in a rainstorm that was nothing short of Biblical!!! I had just purchased a set of FrogTogs. I had good luck with my original set until I leant them to my wife and she burned up the right leg on her exhaust.... So, this new set leaked so bad, that when we finally finished the 170 or so miles from Dubuque, I immediately took off those FrogTogs, and after wringing out my clothes and dumping the water out of my "waterproof" boots, I threw them in the trash. Not sure anything would have kept me dry that day... I'm really enjoying this series! Keep up the good work and ride safe. p.s. I live in Salt lake and those are fantastic burritos!!!!
The great rain gear debate. I totally agree with the surrounding yourself with good people. My thought process is it somebody that will be happy if I share good news with them. Thanks for sharing your journey and ride safe.
Alright, you made it! My HD rain gear works great. Weird that your gear leaked. Adam is a great guy and I’m happy that I was able to contribute to his charity for WWP. Ride safe and have fun!
Omg, when I saw the mediamod getting rained on... I screamed "Nooooooo it's not waterproof, neither water resistant!!!!!!!" to the screen 😅
Glad you arrived safely.
Yup, lesson learned. Lol. Thanks for watching. 🤙🏻
Glad you made it safe. You're going to need more rain gear if you plan on staying on the Convoy long lol. Been raining every day. Y'all stay safe.
Another great episode from the series! I just watched your 12 days playlist, and for some reason, this episode was not in it. Keep up the great work!
Man o’ man! I was with you every second leading up to and thru that rainstorm. I recalled earlier when you mentioned “we might get a little soggy”. LOL. Those summer rainstorms always seem to sneak attack us, not letting us escape a drenching, more times than not. Most importantly, you so eloquently talk thru the community aspect which is our riding family, surrounding ourselves with the most likeminded supporting brothers & sisters we could ever hope to meet, resonates with me to my core. Life is full of noise, putting it lightly. Freedom, is on the trail amongst some you’ve just met, but seems you’ve known them years, those you often ride with, and a solo journey letting our minds defrag, is an understatement. Seeing you roll up on Adam, his expression, 1800 miles to land there like you just returned thru hostile territory, to the hard-deck, the embrace, and exchanges of Luv u brother, you along till the end??? …. “I am”…. that’s a mic drop moment. Chokes a grown man up, just total chills to watch it over and over again. Who wouldn’t want that community?! Brother, don’t worry about the cinematic editing over these 12 days, this raw content is making a monumental impact, and it’s reminding me, I should have been out there shoulder to shoulder in community, grinding 500, 600 miles a day, pulling engine heat to warm my hands….can’t wait to get back out on the trail, sooner than later. Keep inspiring.
It was awesome catching up with you at Sioux Falls and I'm sure that Adam's "Rainmaker bike" got you wet over to Mason City and Waukon.
Safe journey the rest of the way to Milwaukee today. See you again in Sturgis in 2 weeks.
I'm glad you made it safe. You should have known that you were going to ride in the rain since you are heading to meet Adam rainmaker bike😂.
My HD rain gear is going on 3 years since purchase doing great. But hey, everyone has their preference. Great being on the trip with you. Hopefully it doesn't become an addiction as all things must end
Ryan you were always going to be riding in the rain with Adams ride 😂🤣 ride safe my man 😎✌🏻
😂 seriously! Thanks for watching.
Just found your channel after buying my 2022 Road Glide Limited. Great channel. Love riding the asphalt and the dirt on my KLR
Rain… but you got tornado riding skillz
By now I’m sure you’re coming into Wisconsin on the ride. Kind a hope you bring some of that rain with you. We sure could use it. Our lawns look like California lawns. Brown!!
Are you going to be at Sturgis during the rally?
It was awesome meeting you at Uke’s today brother!
Great meeting you as well. Be safe out there. 🤙🏻
Nice work Ryan, don't worry about the video production, everything is falling into place, I see Adam's Rainmaker bike is still living up to its reputation, really enjoying this series, its the true brotherhood/sisterhood of the road that makes what we do worth while. Surround yourself with good Karma and good Karma comes to those. ride safe and hopefully we will see you in Sturgis. Cheers from the Great White North. (PS.. I ordered that phone mount you recommended to me)
Thanks man. 🤙🏻
Hi Ryan, just working my way through the series but episode 5 seems to be missing from the playlist 🤔 anyway that aside keep up the great work and health to ride 🤙🏻
Hello Peter, thank you for brining this to my attention...It has been fixed. I appreciate you following along. Be safe.
Been waiting for this episode all morning FTH! Coming in just in time for first coffee break at work. Love riding along and listening to your trip narration.
And big congrats on the huge collab!
Another good video and Adam is a good fellow.
Thanks for watching. I appreciate it. 🤙🏻
Thank you for doing this I wish I could have done something like that but happy I'm watching it from your pov!
Glad we could get a five-second clip of you putting rain gear on instead of something like the Badlands, exiting Sturgis, Wall Drug or the Brontosaurus at wall, the caveman walking the T-Rex on the Prairie, Etc😢
Okay
It's sad, HD doesn't have the best American made rain suit. I got HWK 20 dollar pair of pull overs. Worked well so far, but the groin has always got some wetness with all my rain gear I have ever oned.
I just bought my road glide from J&L in Sioux Falls
You made it! WooHoo! 🤘
I did. It was a challenging day. Thanks for watching. 🤙🏻
Tell Adam I started watching his work because of you 😂 (but say it like your bragging) and that one day I’ll meet him and give him a challenge coin.
you might want to invest in a LRS windshield to better deal with that highway speed rain…..
Oh man that really sucks. At least it was in daylight.
I think your HD rain jacket has a hood. Put the hood on your head and then the helmet on your head. Put a neoprene gator on your neck.
Good tip. 🤙🏻
Thoughts on T bars?
Forgive me if you've already commented...
They have been amazing! Seriously, exceeded my expectations. 🤙🏻
Thank you for the reply. I really enjoy your channel
Not like them Adam says about 85% has been wet weather riding??
Do you wear boot covers in the rain?
👊🏼😎
The weather in South Dakota you can’t predict how it’s gonna go. Someone told us predicting weather here is for fools and newbies. Lol ride see if you guys.
I agree with you 💯
ECH-D is now El Patron H-D. WTF??? I heard they were moving to Santee.
Why does the leather vest go OVER the raingear? Why not try and keep it dry by covering it? And yes, the HD raingear leaves a LOT to be desired. It doesn't prevent getting soaked, but just postpones it briefly. And the seam in the crotch? What's that about? End up with soaked butt and pants everytime.
