Amazing approach into Palma de Mallorca. Interesting fact, during the landing into Palma, the GPWS only called 50 feet above ground, all the rest was silent but managed very well by the captain obviously.

Why is there no altitude countdown after 50 (ex: 50, 40, 30, 20, 10)?
Probably because he went from 50 to 20 very fast
It is because that is not included on the aircraft. Options vary alot, some lowcost carriers have the 'short field performance' which is olso an option. You can see Air Europe have other company standards. Like the autothrottle stays armed while landing.

@@DialloAbdoulaye-qr8yk No, I believe it's a configuration airlines can choose what EGPWS call outs they want to hear in the flight deck. Looks like Air Europa chose for only '50' as call out, while many other airlines traditionally go for '50, 40, 30, 20, 10'.
@@AviaView True. Quite a few airlines just leave the 40 out for whatever reason but take 50, 30, 20, 10.

Por qué contestan en inglés si el controlador les habla en español?
Hablan en inglés por petición de Justplanes, esto es así en todos los vídeos de compañías de habla no inglesa que graba este productor, para que todo el público pueda entender. Normalmente, las tripulaciones de Air Europa hablan en español con ATC, salvo que les hablen en inglés por haber otros tráficos que necesiten enterarse.

Why do so many spanish ATC refrain from talking Aviation English. That is a safety issue!

We spoke in spanish because were allowed.
In this particular case, Air Europa usually speaks in spanish so its a fair confusion when they check in on a new frequency and you contact them for the first time

This is because they're transmitting in english just for the video. Inside spain they always communicate in spanish
I went to flight school with this dude (Jordi) and he failed 10 out of the 14 EASAs and re-courses more times than I can count.
Personally wouldn’t fly with him ngl
