I like the V8, i like the exterior styling, but i test drove the IS a few days ago and i couldn't even press the gas pedal because my foot was getting stuck in the footwell and the seats were too narrow for me to fit and i'm pretty average by American standards. basically Japanese cars are still Japanese. Lexus is getting better, but as it stands right now German is still the way to go. If you test all the cars in the segment and pay close attention to small details you will find it is still German > Japanese > American as it always was.
an RC F will last a lot longer though, and cost a lot less to keep going since it isnt breaking all the time although a cadillac isnt quite as bad as an m4 for that

Very nice car. I'd buy it. I like Lexus because when you go for service the make latte or cappuccino. Not only that but they start every day and get you where you want. When I had a Benz they gave out BMWs as loners and they used to break down when they were loaned out. No worse than the Benz. But Roman you keep saying that you're not a race car driver. I think that you, Nathan, Emmie and Andre should spend a week at The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving. Not only would you learn the push pull method of steering discipline, skid control, and so many other techniques but you'd have a great time and have the opportunity to make a series of great videos. It's a great experience that you'll carry forever and they'd probably appreciate the promo.

Lexus has made improvements with regard to TCS limits but I wonder if they've finally decided to allow everything to be turned off. I imagine it would drift quite well if they would allow it to be driven properly, that is with all aids (except ABS) turned off...

theres an actuator under the gauge cluster that mixes 50:50 the intake/exhaust noises in Sport+, seperate from the audio system. M5 sound was different because it replays prerecorded sound. M3/4 use engine microphones and played it through the audio system.
If they smacked on the Turbos it would defeat what they were going for and that was Pure Horsepower with the Naturally Aspirated V8 compared to the turbo charged M4 and even though the M4 is 3/8th of a second faster than the RCF if they put turbos on it bet it'll bet the M4 lol
Track numbers looks good on paper. In real life, it is pointless. How likely yall take your expensive car to the track? Less likely. Had an e46 m3 woth mods. Owned 4 years. Never took it to the track.

I want something I can work on myself and not have to be a computer technician to do so! I want some real road feel, and real sounds, and have to have real skill to be able to drive it fast! The engine audio inside the cabin is actually real, they just open/close the audio from the intake manifold into the cabin like the LFA

what do you mean by "augmented"? there is no fake motor sound from speakers as far as i know, does it?
The f-150 has fake engine sound played through the speakers as well as the mustang ecoboost, and some German luxury cars.

ForTehNguyen there will always be the muscle car v8s...hopefully, but yeah in terms of a sporty v8, you are correct.
