As someone who values my God-given right to defend my life & that of my loved ones, as well as it being my duty to resist tyranny I would be content with a Timberwolf.

So he would have intended for either the Atlas or the Marauder to be your standard dropship defense. Edit: But you know what? Clanners, amirite? Kerensy was well aware the tools of warfare were constantly evolving and would expect a mechwarrior to be using the best machine they could get for the job.
