Not to plug but I already did lol! It's the piece named "Aftermath" that you can find on my channel page or using this link: ruclips.net/video/L6j9QcCeQjw/видео.html
I use Musescore 4 to write and render. It uses it's own sounds which are like a vst3 instrument using recorded professional musicians. So in essence, I'm using a midi writing software but the midi instruments are real players. So to answer your first question, yes to both. Hope this helps
If you're gonna use live sax for this you need to add more breaths. Some sax players could probably do this with circular breathing but it's usually good not to make them unless you know you're working with players who are specifically good at that kind of thing. Think in terms of putting a pause for breath at the end of every phrase. That causes problems for your short repeating motif since it's hard to jam a rest in there but there are ways around that
Not exactly sure what you mean, but if you mean what I'm thinking you mean, you're forgetting to transpose into concert pitch. Because baritone sax and alto sax are Eb instruments, you'll need transpose them up a minor third to play them on a non-transposing instrument (ie. flute, violin, trombone, piano, ect). Tenor sax and soprano sax are similar but are pitched in Bb (like clarinet and trumpet), so you'd have to transpose them down a major second (otherwise known as a whole tone, or simply a tone as you put it).
you need to extend this, this sounds like a piece i'd hear in a movie/game in a heartwrenching moment

I’m with everyone who says to extend this piece. Holy heck talk about tense!
As a sax player myself, I'd love to play this! It sounds really cool
I need a longer version!!! It’s too good!
There is a longer version called "After math"
Whoa! Lovely textures!
I love this! Would love to hear more!
this is actually amazing, awesome job
Awesome
Sounds like Batman
i like it!
sounds like a distorted version of interstellar
It’s good, but I think if you could have made it longer and successfully developed it more (using said extra length) it would have been even better
lowkey awesome sauce
Very musically complex and strong structure, keep it up 👍🏻
Is the Sheet music available?
Do you use real players or a midi? What software do you use?

Everything is a tone down
