Hello Everyone! After getting all the fence rails on, it was now time to start working on the entryway. Roxane has a vision for how she wants the garden trellis to look like. With a little conversation, and another stop in town for materials, we got right on working on it. We used some scrap materials that we had left over to finish out the front flower beds. We also took the scrap cut off garden posts and used them on a different project. Everything came out beautiful! Thank you all for being here, we appreciate you! Enjoy!

Years ago my husband and i raised rabbits. We sold them processed to a local store and ate them ourselves. My favorite way to serve them was to just parbroil them and then grill basting with butter. So delishius. Those babies are so cute but i think cuter when they are a couple of weeks old. All your projects are looking great.

Fall, winter and spring are best for breeding rabbits. Don't breed them if the temp will be above 85-90. Matter of fact makes will go sterile in the hot temps. They will be alright when the temps cool down. Also you can touch/handle the kits. Momma won't reject them..That is an ole wise tale. I raise rabbits on my homestead for food also. Love the garden area!!

  • @russellwatters5891

The flower boxes look amazing, but like you added, I'd trim the tops with 1×3 or something. It would create a little shelf area to put mushrooms and decor on as well..lol 😂😅 The tree ring looks great. I knew what your thoughts were when you started to gather them up. As far as the rabbits are concerned, putting the doe and buck together is as simple as it gets. She'll let him know when the time is coming, and when it's gone. 😅 Love what ya'll are doing 😊

Are you going to build a nice big porch that faces the garden? Looks good around the tree, reminds me of state parks.
So curious also, due to the fake meat (gross) are you going to get pigs and a meat cow? My plan is 2 females 1 breeder male in pigs. And I will continue to get beef from another homesteader in the fall. I don't have enough pasture for a cow

Grats on getting bunnies this time guys. You do know that you're supposed to be keeping some of them for food, RIGHT. It's all right to help out when you have plenty but you need to make sure to stock up for yourselves also. It's NOT selfish but PRACTICAL to give yourself some food in the pantry. You should get both feamles going steadily before you start giving them out, AFTER you've secured your food. Just a heads up. Great progress on the garden and tree surrounding. Stay safe on the 41.36 you guys
