I worked for Daniel this summer and he was one of best bosses ive ever had its sad to see whats happening i was down there little over a week ago and everything was still in drought now most of our staff housing, offices, Pavillion, and campground cabins have been washed out. Hopefully we can recover from this 🙏

Turn around, don't drown and yet look at those fireman. They just lost a fire truck and insurance company very well may not pay because they went into high water.
Every building he lost he literally built. He was involved in building them all at that company pretty much. He was out with hammers and drills on them

It certainly looks like that split right there, with those great little holes will not be accessible, without some serious moving of ALL THOSE STONES/ROCKS that are now blocking that fork. I dont even know if that will be possible, but I am praying for those ballsy raft guides who will first venture down the river to scout. Im sure they are fervently anticipating that first run, but guys, PLEASE, please be careful! Give it some time to receed, for your safety's sake!

I've lived through MANY hurricanes...here in Louisiana...but FLOODING is the WORST😢 Lost EVERYTHING in 2016... I feel your pain. Hopefully your family is safe🙏
We are all waiting for waters to subside, and then we will try to assess the damage. There's nearly a dozen rafting companies on this river, all under water. But hopefully, we will be able to get back by the middle of next week. Hartford is a tight-knitted community though, so we will do like we always do, and band together to overcome this.
