Great review ! one of the best lightweight-corner attack bike, definitely on par with the R15, if not better. these bike makes you feel like a factory racer. however, i do have a few gripes with it. Having underbelly exhaust from factory may look nice, but it limits us to fullsystem exhaust if you gonna do a swap. no slip on option for this one. ( i think RC200 never had a side muffler exhaust, though you can technically put a mid pipe, why make it even quieter than stock exhaust?) and, the headlight, is not really inspiring to look at. Overall, still a very nice package, especially the WP APEX forks.
There's no option for side exhaust but Malaysia you can always custom your own kan? Haha.. It's to comply with the Euro 5 standard I think. Hopefully next gen they will go full LED headlights! Thanks for viewing & sharing your thoughts on this RC 200!
Not many explain the riding mode like you do mr. Saibot, it's a great point on how people gonna think about pro & cons this bike.. hahaha the windshield tu betul la, my (passed) bestfriend had the previous rc long time ago, he also complain about the windshield, he want change to the aftermarket part but really hard to find cause seketul besar depan tu😂
Personally I think if the windshield had a light smoke tint on it would look pretty badass, can tint the headlight too make it seem like race fairing no headlight.. 😁 Thanks for viewing, sorry to hear about your best friend..
@@thesighbored haaa kann, if they made aftermarket product for windshield , short sidemirror and etc , i think buyer will be more attractive on this model, looks ranggiii hahaha. Yeah, but don't too dark la, bahayaa hahaha. Thanks mr.saibot, yg pergi tetap pergi, in life we must ride on juga. RSSR 👍
@@thesighbored hahahahha .. Malaysians kan, apa je tak boleh, semua boleh.. i remember 10year ago, some of them modified ex5, guna enjin lifan 160cc order from Taiwan. Gilaaa punya kerja😆😂
I believe the Motorex oil can be a bit expensive.. Right now they're having promotion for free one year maintenance, so a good time to save on maintenance if planning to get one.
Actually these standard ones are pretty nice when semi folded gives a good rear view without sticking out too much. However if looking for smaller mirror, I'm not too sure since I didn't see how these ones are mounted.. Thinking of those Rizoma winglet style mirrors?
@@thesighbored i believe honda only has the 250rr version in malaysia. Price wise because modenas took over kawasaki in malaysia. Ninja 250 will be the most affordable.
If you don't need speed and cruising around 125km/h is just fine for you, then yes it's a good bike for that. The fairings work quite well, didn't feel any wind buffeting when riding it.
Above 130 can start to notice some minor vibrations, if ride for longer period probably will be more obvious. Oddly the bars don’t come with end bar balancers maybe adding some might fix that minor issue, not sure about that.
Yes it does sound that way, but they are not officially made by Brembo themselves, if not mistaken. Made it's designed by them but contracted to another factory to be produced. I'm not 100% sure.
Good day Sir, what can you say about the RC200's cooling system? Is the engine heat during city traffic ride bothersome or is it tolerable? I've read some reviews and there's an issue that it causes too much heat to riders. I am interested in this motorcycle and I just wanna hear out opinions from KTM users. Thank you!
Hi there! From my time with the RC200, I didn't notice any overheating or heat issue. If riding at low speeds the cooling fan will kick in, but I did not feel any unusual heat being directed to my legs or thighs area. If you need more confirmation, best to lurk around the owner groups or forums and see the owner feedbacks on this.. Happy shopping for your new bike!

which aftermarket side mirror would you recommend for this new RC model?

Just wondering what's the best 250cc Sports bike a beginner can get? (Best as in affordable, decent performance, no spare part issue, and reliable?)
250cc? Probably between the Yamaha R25 or Kawasaki Ninja 250R..
@@thesighbored thankz for the reply man.
You're welcome.. I didn't mention the Honda cause I'm not sure if they have the standard 250R or only 250RR a available..

Hi sir, is there a lowering kit available for RC 200?
I'm not aware of any lowering kit, I think they design it so that it has enough lean clearance. There might be some 3rd party kits available?
Hi Bro, do you recommend this bike for daily travel KL-Seremban?

Can someone suggest me which bike gives more confidence in high speed cornering, hard or trail braking, Gixxer SF 250 or this new RC 200 ???
I haven't tried the Gixxer but this RC is designed for race so it's handling/cornering is good, trail braking is a skill to learn..
😍😍😍😍
Nice to ride 😁

You can't demand a lot top speed from a 199cc single, but it's quite fun to ride, just not high speed..
