To avoid complains about a higher AMD cTDP (despite ARC running mostly at max GPU clocks), I've reduced the HX 370's cTDP from ~60 Watts to 17 Watts. The overlay is scalled differnently, resolutions are the same for both GPUs/recordings
Not only a huge fps difference, those frame times are so much more consistent on the Ryzen APU. I’m shocked Intel still hasn’t got their drivers in a better state.
With the same setting, my Ultra 5 125H in 20 watts is giving 40 FPS in this area and Lunar Lake is coming with 40% to 50% better performance in iGPU and has 25% better single core than my ULTRA 5 125H.

This is crazy either of them can even run these sort of games now whether it's decent or just ok because it's only going to get better in the future. Soon my toothbrush will be able to run crysis lmao. Oh ya and this must be really good for battery life too. Imagine in 5 years when these igpu are even better and use less power and hopefully we actually have better battery technology in mainstream electronics like good solid state batteries. Maybe could actually game on laptop on battery for 10+ hours that would be crazy.
Can you please repeat this test with equivalent laptops for consistency? Like the Zeyphrus G16 GA605 (Ryzen 9 HX 370 + LPDDR5X-7500) and G16 GU605 (Core Ultra + LPDDR5X-7467)?
Are you serious? You’re comparing a Core Ultra from the 7 series with an AMD from the 9 series. Naturally, AMD is more powerful, which is why Ryzen is also more expensive. The Ultra 7 should be compared to the Radeon 780M, where there’s virtually no difference.
I wish I got the 890m and hx 370.. such an incredible chip pushing windows deep into macbook territory. However I settled for the intel 185H because in my country the AMD was 47% more expensive 1700 vs 2500 on average for the same laptop. Thats totally ridiculous. Oh well. Geforce Now baby
@@g00dl00kinb0i you can replace RAM on the Intel system and it is a major difference on those already bandwidth starved iGPUs. This comparison is totally worthless.

Great attention to detail! Thanks for the research and testing.
This one clarification earned a sub. Good job.

Edit - except for Hellblade. No idea why the Ryzen is oscillating so consistently at the beginning. Weird.

And it uses only 17 watts, it powers 12 big cores (4big 8 slightly smaller but still big with lower frequency) and 16 CU iGPU with only 17 watts

twice the frames at half the power shouldnt be possible

it is not possible by AMD good, but it is possible by the bad of Intel.

There's no comparison.
The Intel 155H can barely compete with the 6800U (worse with Xbox360/PS3/Switch emulation), let alone AMD's latest 2 gens.

Intel's drivers need some serious fixes. In almost all titles the gpu usage is lower and cpu usage higher than AMD’s. Especially resident evil
