Horseshoe Bend, just 9 miles upstream from the Grand Canyon, has become one of the most iconic spots in the American Southwest. It's a short hike but worth every second. And recent improvements have made Horseshoe Bend accessible under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

"It's about 1000 feet down. If you fall, you will die." Glad you don't mince words, Cris.
I visited last may and some guy hopped over the rail to pose for a picture. I turned my head because he was insanely close to the edge. I didn't want to see a death. a fall doesn't only ruin your family's life but it affects vacationers who witness a fall
Definitely a great place for a short but rewarding hike with absolutely amazing views!
Some people are so annoying, but this is expected at such a location. I'm glad that drones are not allowed, at least.
Thank you for sharing. Would love to do this hike one day.
I've done many road trips throughout Utah and have been to Page twice, coming from Colorado. I absolutely love Page. Horseshoe Bend is also really cool but you'll definitely experience tourism and sweat like no other during the summer 😅 Also I don't know what it is, but the absolute majority of the tourists coming from the tour bus are always East Asians. It's cute the type of cameras they bring.
Welcome back to Arizona Cris! I really like your videos. Are you going to film some more adventures in Arizona?
Thank you! I spent a few weeks in Arizona this year and have some more hikes coming. Try to get to AZ every year.
@@Hikingguy Driving from vegas in May. Do u think going there @12noon then lower antelope in the afternoon is possible? How many km the trail ? Hows thw weather in May ?
@@TrixyCA details in link under video
Can you photograph after sunset, or do you have to leave at closing time?
No way I'm getting that close to the edge.
Hey man thanks for the video. I’m thinking about proposing to my lady here soon and thought that would be a cool place to do it. Would you a suggestion as to where would be the best spot? Any info helps. Thanks!
This is a nice spot but crowded - you might want to hike down and then go away from the crowds somewhere around here: 36.88236150934504, -111.5103919297446
Pet and wheelchair(electric) friendly?
My wife are planning this, so thanks!
How long is 2 get there ? thanks anyone
When is the best time of year to visit?
I was there in July during a weekday and since it was summer, I thought the place would be over-crowded. It wasn't and perhaps that was due to the heat. All in all, I had no problem with either parking or taking whatever photos I needed.
Winter / Weekday
Is there an access to the water? I am really curious.
Not in this part of the park
@user-dv2qg2zj6j They have float trips you can take around the horseshoe.
can you go hike to the bottom?
not around this area
While you can't operate a drone while being in a national park, there is no FAA rule that doesn't allow you to fly a drone from that parking lot. So the signed at this point has no meaning.
Why don't they just build A fence everywhere instead of just some places
a fence already kill the view ! fence all around will be worse! just be careful and don't be stupid to take risks pictures!
