At the season finale the fact that everyone forgot what they experienced at Bly Manor at the wedding was so sad to me
I went into this season expecting scares, and came out feeling emotionally moved. Hill house has frights, Bly Manor has feelings. That last episode broke me, honestly, especially that ending. I wished Dani and Jamie had a happy ending, since Hannah and Owen didnt, but sadly it wasn't meant to be. However, the final scene left me with hope as well, that maybe one day Jamie may see her "lady in the lake" again.
No no you see... they didn't have a happy ending..yet. they didnt have it yet. the thing is Jamie thought Dani forgot her when time passed, but she didn't the hand at the end belonged to dani, she was there, always there with her, she was free, and by her side, just Jamie didn't know... you see, like the moonflower their love didn't last much longer, but the amazing thing about the flower is that it grows again, and again, yes it dies, but after time it grows back. Their love will eventually rejoin, Jamie will see her Poppins again, her lady in the lake. because Dead doesn't mean gone.

@@heyz9733 Its a second series of the haunting anthology. I mean the first series haunting of the hill house has same cast but different plot and characters so probably the third part will be there with same people but not the continuation of bly manor

Dani and Jamie's love story is the most beautiful, and wholesome relationship we've had on television in a long time. I will never not feel like crying for them; not just in sadness but also in gratefulness. Their relationship although short-lived had the kind of love we all search for our whole lives. To have that person who compliments, grows, understands, and supports you day by day...just wow. Mike Flanagan THANK YOU for giving us these two wonderful characters!
i cant get over them cause this was the purest love i have ever seen. i`ve watched so many lesb movies and series but never watched something like they. this is the kinda lover i look foward to be, hope someday i found myself a love so pure
There's a theory that says that flora's wedding took place at that Manor and since Jamie made up the names, nobody except her, Owen and Henry know that it's the same haunted Manor she mentions in her ghost story throughout. So when Jamie falls asleep that night hoping to see her own lady of the lake, Dani finally shows up and is there with her but only as long aa Jamie stays at the Manor because technically, Dani can't leave the Manor, so they just met for one night or as long as Jamie was there in the Manor and she didn't even know
I just finished watching the finale and now I'm binge watching all the fan made videos of Jamie and Dani.
Why couldn't they get a happy ending? 😭 I loved them so much. It still hurts though. I think I'm gonna go see a bunch of Wayhaught scenes after this.

Cam, you’ve done it again! Another masterpiece. Perfect song for them. Their story is so beautiful and tragic, but can we acknowledge that Dani gave the ultimate sacrifice for Flora and the kids have NO IDEA who she even is anymore? I can’t get over how more incredibly tragic Dani’s story is, as well as Dani and Jamie’s love story. Fuck, this show really got me on so many levels.
