Yooooo for real lmaoooo, but let’s talk in Boruto when he’s trying to tell the kids about his fight with Madara and he when he was about to said his name he said well I forgot 🤣 that was a I don’t know him, Mariah Carey moment 💀💀💀💀
Top 7 is a funny way to say it instead of just top 10 but yeah that fight is solid and finally showed potential for Sakura’s character. Just for her to fall off a cliff development wise again lmao
@@whiteflame24They said top 7, they meant top 7. As in, it would never rank any less than 7th best, as opposed to top 10 meaning it wouldn't rank any less than 10th best. Being in the top 7 is better than being in the top 10.
The 1st two arcs in Naruto shipuuden sucked in terms of Naruto's growth. He just came back with a bigger rasengan and barely did anything other than chasing deidara and sasuke's ass. The fight against Orochimaru doesn't count cause it was mostly the Nine Tails in control in that fight.
@@arclight7892That's Naruto's development. He only grew in ability when he got more, I guess you could say attuned? To Kurama. And when they started working together, that was basically it. Now we got Baryon Naruto and what not.
One of my favorite arcs. I still believe that Sakura should have been promoted to Jonin after healing Kankuro and defeating Sasori with Chiyo, which led to the Kazekage being saved, which also led to a lead on the whereabouts of Orochimaru and Sasuke. She contributed so much in the arc, but I understand Tsunade probably wanted to wait to promote her when she completed the byakugou seal.
Naruto's angry speech to Chiyo when Gaara dies is my favorite moment in the entire story. I remember watching this and thinking "Bro this is too sad, stop. This anime will be peak."
@dominant2576 bro he's just saying that he remembers thinking something like that no one will remember exactly the words they thought to themselves from 11 years ago
I don’t know what you mean by "better than you remember". Those were peak Naruto episodes for me. I remember coming home from school as a kid and watching Kakashi and Naruto chase Deidara, and Sakura and Granny Chiyo fight Sasori on TV. The suspense was so real I couldn’t remain seated.
A lot of people bag on the Chiyo/Sakura tag team v Sasori but it’s actually close to perfect imo. Sakura is at her peak in character, we get to see what the other powerful Shinobi of other villages can do as Chiyo is basically the sand village version of Kakashi, it directly reinforces the themes first presented in the land of waves, and Sasori’s death was entirely in character and was foreshadowed by Chiyo saying earlier “these (mother/father puppets) will be greater against him than any weapon.” Chiyo’s presence + Sasori choosing to die allowed Sakura to show how much she’d grown while also making it clear the MCs aren’t anywhere near Akatsuki level yet. It’s a shame people let Sakura’s later character ruin this arc for them as it’s top 5 for me IN THE MANGA.
@@ayhamahmad2277 Yeah that’s a shame, Sakura irrelevant if not blatantly annoying after this for like hundreds of chapters. It’s so weird that Kishimoto let KONOHAMARU beat a path of pain but not Sakura.
It's pretty much just bias in my opinion. There's was absolutely nothing wrong with Sakura in this arc, and her tag team with Chiyo against Sasori was pretty much peak Naruto. The adaptation had it's issues, but it added excellent themes and voice work. Overall, this was a good introduction...
@@AndrewAce. Sakura is actually straight up out of character in this arc, but in a very good way. She only thinks about Sasuke once at the start of the fight and it’s to bring him back and save him from Orochimaru and then she locks in. It makes her look like she’s you know…one of his friends instead of an obsessive stalker. In the war arc she’s complaining that he’s not paying attention to her after she pulls a stupid stunt and ATTACKS MADARA with zero plan…oh my god.

Sakura had so much potential in the series. That fight against Sasori 👌🏼
through the whole Naruto timeline she did 3 useful things: 1. Healed Kankuro from Sasori poison 2. Helped beat Sasori (although Chiyo was the main cause of that, cuz she controlled Sakura apart from her puppets 3. She helped Sasuke teleport back when they fough Kaguya All other things she did and the decisions she made made most of the situations WORSE and don't let me get started how fkn annoying she is, no wonder so many people hate her
I fucking love Chiyo, probably my second favorite female character in the series. Also, this was the arc that made me stop hating Sakura. Sadly she comes back to doing nothing after this. The lack of side characters screentime is my biggest complaint about Shippuden and this is the only arc where we get it.
The problem is that they need more arc which probably the editor didn't allow kishimoto to aid more and kishimoto has to cut some of his ideas like tusnade and sakura were supposed to have a fight in the pain arc just look at this arc kishimoto give sakura her best arc and he can do that the main problem is the editor and the stupid weekly manga
Bro Naruto would have lasted 50 years if Kishimoto focused on the side characters. He would never finish the Naruto/Sasuke story. He was burned out after 15 years of drawing 24/7.
Please do a vid about the difference between Manga Sakura and Anime Sakura and how they ruined her in the anime and so is Kishi and his editors! ( Except in the light novels of course)
@@1st2nd-dp9uushe is good in the manga she just needs more screen time and more fight even if sakura was perfect in the manga the as long as the anime changed it doesn't really matter
The anime completely destroyed her they cut a lot of her dielog and moments in the manga and they love hinata so much sakura is not bad she just needs more screen time and more fight the problem is there isn't enough arc to do that kishimoto can't aid anything unless the editor allow him to do that which didn't happen and the changing that happened because sakura was actually was supposed to end with Naruto just read the manga she has more screen time and moments with Naruto than hinata hinata barely exists in the manga the only reason she ended with Naruto because she was popular character because of fillers
The Tsunade arc still had his weird issues. Tsunade being helpless and having to be saved by Naruto from Kabuto? Not to mention that Shizune got hyped and then Kabuto punched her out of the arc.
@@t-masterrules5085it was cute to dilver in time remember Naruto was a weekly manga so you have a time limit to dilver look what happens to hidan arc that arc was supposed to be longer but the editor was rushing him to end because of time

The funniest thing to me is Gai not remembering Kisame, one of the most conspicuous characters in the series, the big blue guy with the giant sword which looks like a supersized sorbet hidden in bandages until it reveals a big mass of sharp chakra-sucking scales.
What I liked about the arc: 1- Sakura's development in fighting and medicine. 2 - Kage level fight between Deidara and Gaara. 3 - 6th gate introduction. 4 - Chiyo and Sasori were cool and had good backstories. 5 - Kakashi using kamui. What I disliked the most about the arc: 1 - (In the case of the Anime) The doppelganger fights. That was one of the lowest points in Naruto as a series. 2 - Naruto doesn't show much improvement (I feel like Shippuden Naruto in base form should look and be stronger than 1-tail kid Naruto in the Valley of the End, but that's not the case). 3 - Rock Lee doesn't even address Gaara despite having a slight bond with the character and he gets no development whatsoever. 4 - Neji for similar reasons. We see a bit more development than Lee (plus he is Jonin), but it's nowhere near interesting. 5 - Would have been more interesting to see a more serious fight between 2-tail Naruto vs Deidara than what we got to see. Naruto doesn't get a major fight at all until the Pain Arc in shippuden, and that's kind of boring.
Because of the hate she got because of the anime they cut a lot of her dielog and moments in the manga just read the manga and you will see kishimoto has to scrape his plans for her
@ayhamahmad2277 That's a bad excuse. Oh, she got hate because of the anime. Let me write her even worse and not improve on it. The filler stuff made her worse, but she was already disliked in the manga.

With the doppelgänger scene, I thought they would do something really cool like neji would have to beat lees clone Lee would beat ten tens and guy would beat neji and the whole squad would beat guys. But no
Same that would have been a way for us to at least get a tiny bit of the Lee vs Neji fight since Kishimoto obviously had no plans of making it happen in the main story
That would have been far more interesting that that boring ass series of fights we got where they're all exactly the same as their counterparts and having to defeat their clones with the same powers and moves.
I like it, especially if neji and Lee both won their fights against the other perfect clone. Have tenten win by exploiting a specific weakness or a complex trap that a Gai doppelganger would struggle with. This would also ironically work with the themes of reality vs dreams that comes up later on too
I don’t even know why people hate this arc. Like.. it was so great and especially the fights. The fights are so strategic and technical that they’re easily one of the best in the series and even without counting it, do you guys actually remember that it was the only real arc where Sakura finally get some spotlight and ACTUALLY feel like part of the main cast ? Do you actually remember when that arc made your hopes for her character grow before she got completely waisted and thrown away ? I just don’t understand why people criticize that arc so much.

In an interview with FujiTV released in the lead-up to The Last: Naruto the Movie, Kishimoto explained that he tried to write Sakura as a realistic girl, but that fan response was so overwhelmingly negative that he had to rethink how he depicted her. Unfortunately, his solution to this was not to change how he wrote her or to make her story more interesting, it was to try and draw her as more attractive. @@izayiahwilson-f4kThat's the saddest thing ever. Sakura had a lot of potential as a character. She wasn't born in any clan, and she didn't get to do a lot from the very first arc. Kishimoto could easily make a background story for Sakura, making a transition between the Sakura that was basically a nobody, and the Sakura that surpassed Tsunade of the Sannin.
@@uligallardo8110 what are you talking about he did, sakura came from a nobody and became strong enough to surpass Tsunade like she did in the war arc. and really every character but the Uchiha had a lot of potential like not even Naruto himself ever got his full potential, he doesn't have amazing sealing jutsu, doesn't have minutes in, doesn't have flying Raijin, and doesn't even have the chakra chains. and so Naruto was carried by Kurama but even though still just a base adult naruto has shown to be far stronger than Kaguya anyway.
One really cool thing to note is that we get a glimpse of Pain's abilities. Him being able to create 30% body doubles like he can create his paths, and the rings can also be somewhat considered his own creations.
Don't need naruto to be the main answer to every solution. You got a wide range of characters, if he solves every problem then he's gonna be too perfect and ppl won't like him as much.
He doesn't have to be the answer to every problem but they at least should have gave him more to do at the start of Shippuden. I remember his growth being pretty underwhelming until much later.
@@anthonywilliams3606 yeah Kishimoto put his character development on the side to focus on Sakura and then to show off Sasuke's strength. He later made up for it although it seemed a bit odd that most of his development happened after his longest period of training with Jiraiya, he actually got much stronger with Kakashi and the toad sage.
Thank you for pointing out the Third´s title of Strongest Kazekage ever (and by far). A lot of people forget what he is and just assume Gaara is better just by what he did in the War Arc.

For people who say Kishimoto is bad at writing women or say the animators ruined her character. In an interview with FujiTV released in the lead-up to The Last: Naruto the Movie, Kishimoto explained that he tried to write Sakura as a realistic girl, but that fan response was so overwhelmingly negative that he had to rethink how he depicted her. He decided to draw her more attractive not because he was thinking that is the best idea in the world and that she does not need depth, but because most fanletters that were hating on Sakura, weren't able to specific what they dislike about Sakura, but all letters contained "Sakura is ugly, flat bitch". Interesting.
It's worth noting that the anime didn't do the arc justice. The animation can get pretty lazy at times (then again it's a weekly anime so it's forgivable) and they dragged out scenes like the Naruto Kakashi and Deidara chase. As for the arc itself, I think my only issue with it is that Naruto didn't effectively show his growth after the training time skip. Yeah there's that bell test with Kakashi but that's it. He almost shat his pants against fake Itachi only to figure out later on that he learned how to break out a genjutsu? Could have done it on the get-go. (Hot) opinion: Fishman island arc from One Piece is what the kazekage rescue arc wishes to be
I liked and disliked the Kazekage rescue arc. It was a good arc to come back to but my gripes about it are the anime's filler, which is hard to skip when it's just scenes being dragged on. The other gripe which the manga can't substitute for is Naruto not getting much to do in this arc. I can only think of three things he does in this arc: tries to take the bells away from Kakashi, fight "Itachi", and chase Deidara, all of these being lackluster. The arc definitely showed huge improvement in Sakura's character and fighting abilities but then Kishimoto drops the ball hard.
It was an okay arc to start Shippuden with,Naruto returning,Sakura vs Sasori and Chiyo's sacrifice keep it from being completely mid,but it is easily my least favorite besides the war arc.
I honestly think it would have been better if Naruto wasn't even in this arc. Like if Team Guy and Sakura were doing the mission on their own it wouldn't hamper the development of either Naruto or Kakashi, but give Lee (who already has history with Gaara) and Sakura (who has up until this point barely done anything worth noting) things to do and a bit of a spotlight.
Naruto left the leaf as the second strongest of the Konoha 12 and came back weaker than Sakura, who was the weakest of the original 12. Now to be fair the others of the 12 did not improve at the same rate. By orders of magnitude Sakura and Sasuke improved by far the most
2:09 My goodness, that Kakashi & Naruto chase was horrendous as f*ck! As great as the season was, that turned me off a lot, not enough to turn me away, but damn, The doppelgangers thing was pretty bad as well..
2:16 thank you for mentioning this part it has to be my least favourite part in the whole arc like in the manga it was so fast paced but because I watched the anime first I was watching this thinking that this also happened in the manga

i think the bad filler parts of the arch make the good parts feel less good, like i loved the kankuro fight personally and the increase tention with sakura healing him helps build on her skill as a medical ninja even if it was just made a little longer. The team guy and pursuing datara parts are just hard to sit through and it makes all the other un important parts more of a drag
Sakura went from being one of the weakest characters in her generation to being the first member of her team to successfully defeat an Akatsuki member. Great work, Masashi Kishimoto!
Sometimes arcs doesn't need to be build up around main character. And if you think about it, Naruto clearly solved the problem of the arc, which is Kazekage rescue, by showing Chiyo that both their villages may have bright future
I think the main problem is this arc wasn't really about Naruto. It was about Sakura, and two new characters that die at the end of it. Naruto just runs and yells chasing after Gaara

I definitely agree about the anime pacing. I recently watched Naruto Kai, which is a fan made recut that is slightly convoluted to download and watch but also very worth it bc it almost completely matches the mangas pacing with only actually good additions from the anime. The pacing for every arc felt almost totally on point and it took shippuden overall from a 6.5/10 to a 9/10

I actually like kazekage retrieval arc. It just is emblematic of what the series would become. Abandoned sense and reason, tons of retcons and general leaning towards cool factor away from internal consistency. It had so many cool fights. Naruto vs Itachi, gaara vs deidara, sakura x chiyo vs sasori. All very cool. Narratively it's also cool. But the power scaling is already wonk, cool characters are already forgotten. For me it's a tipping point. Still cool but all downhill from there.
Recon are not bad if they fit the story and the worst ones that completely ruined the story is the kagua and the reincarnation madara should have been the final villain and guy should have died after using the 8 gate
I think we really should have seen Naruto hurt somebody with the two tails, but also save a life because of it. That would have been a cool way to show the desire you can have for power, yet the risks and danger
I am rewatching the anime. I know Deidara was a genius. And he defeats Kazekage Gaara. Another genius. But seriously, the Sand Village do almost nothing to aid Gaara.
@@Ishallreignsupreme Still. They try at the end to throw big arrows and explosives, but from the beginning they could use some long range jutsu, and throw the stuff.

I think people forget that by this arc, Naruto is actually the weakest of the three. Sakura was trained by tsunade in medical ninjutsu as well as gaining immense strength. She didn’t didn’t really go much further from here until she got the yin seal.
The problem for me as you said is naruto himself. BUT I would not have that problem if kisimoto had done the bell test a little different and add some small changes in the rest of the arc. 1)Lengthen the bell test. After sakura brakes the ground have naruto rushing in with just 2 clones and fighting kakashi with only taijutsu. Nether can take the upper hand and they both jumps back. Then naruto throw a suriken and use the suriken shadow clone Jutsu. Kakashi counters with an earth wall until sakura rush in and brake it with a punch. Kakashi jumps back to create space between him and Sakura only for naruto to spit toad oil to the spot kakashi is about to land. Kakashi loose his balance because of the oil and naruto is going for the bells, only for kakashi to put him under a sharingan genjutsu that freezes him in place. Sakura try to go closer to brake naruto out of the genjutsu but kakashi gets in her way and they start fighting with sakura on the defense. Only for naruto to interfere (with everyone been surprised he brake out of the genjutsu by himself). Then we cut wear he and Sakura are talking in the forest with the change, naruto saying : "I have 2 possible plans. One I create an army of clones that will be attacking kakashi Sensei until he pass out because of CHAKRA EXHAUSTION. Or...." And the rest is like canon. 2)Other small changes is naruto using the basic rasengan without a shadow clone (with 2 hands not one handed and the oodama still neads a clone). And maybe have HIM explain together with kakashi how the seal on the cave works (by proxy we the audience learn that he gained a basic understanding of fuinjutsu under Jiraiya). Then you can have Naruto because of the wind training to learn : a) "wind style rasengan" that gives him the ability to throw the rasengan (range attack, neads one shadow clone to create) b) enhance his Kunai with wind chakra (not in the level of Asuma because his Kunai aren't made of chakra metal) c) rasensuriken just like canon Give him all that and no one would have any problem with early shippuden naruto and his abilities after the time skip.
Probably one of my favorite arcs. Though I still think team guy should've switched their opponents amongst each other. Neji fights alt Rock Lee, Tenten for alt Neji and so on.

I think naruto not having the final fight in the is arc is fine, especially because of how well sakura & chiyo vs Sasori is. Granted I think it might of helped if naruto had one extra chapter fighting deidara showing what he is capably of, same with team gai by having at least one chapterof them showing them off just one move each. 2 ways i think you can fix the naruto variety of skills at the begining is 1 have him already able to use wind style in the beginning or 2 have jiriaya's warning to not use that technique being foreshadowing the flying thunder god jutsu and that naruto has been training with it but unable to use it at the beginning.
I am an anime-only guy and I can't believe what I hear. What is said here over and over would indicate that the majority of people really disliked this arc (in the anime). I was never finding out what other people thought of it, but personally, I always think back to it with pleasure. I consider it one of my favourite timespans spent on Shippuuden. Having said that, I watched that arc only once, many years ago, and generally, back then I was excited about everything after the timeskip.
The manga does a lot of justice to Sakura, I like the way she handled herself with Chiyo to fight Sasori, unfortunately every time Sasuke comes by Sakura becomes useless, when I first saw this arc I was thinking finally Sakura is doing great and she is helping , but Shippūden did a bunch of stuff that ruined certain characters.
sakura actually was supposed to end with Naruto but they told him to change it because she was hated because of the anime they cut a lot of her dielog and moments in the manga and the love hinata so they told him to change it because she was popular character because of fillers just read the manga sakura has more screen time and moments with Naruto than hinata hinata barely exists in the manga
This video feels like it has a 20 minute filler arc in explaining that the naruto shippuden anime adds filler. Great use of example 😅 Also, shippuden introduces a powerful new soundtrack in the anime that adds to the hype, darkness, and the akatsuki worldbuilding that really makes the anime more entertaining to viewers than is estimated here.
@@talobsta actually, when he was writing this arc,her haters saw too much of her being an actual good character and they didn't like it saying Hinata should've been the FL even the so HATED her saying he should change his plans for her and that's why she's such bad character now
The pacing was really the problem in the anime. It was really annoying how amazing fight between Sasori and 2 kunoichis was getting cut by boring and irrelevant scenes of Naruto and Kakashi chasing Deidara and Naruto acting like a 5 year old and even more annoying was Team Guy fighting their doppelgängers. This could´ve been fixed quite easily. Let Team Guy swap their doppelgängers with having Neji/Lee and Ten Ten/Guy fights or instead of having doppelgängers let them fight some Akatsuki minions like Yura was. With Kakashi and Naruto chasing Deidara what could´ve been done was having Naruto attacking Deidara from distance with Wind Style jutsus while Kakashi is preparing his Mangekyo. Naruto should´ve learn much more during time skip giving him some wind style jutsus would be great. Or even if they didn´t change anything just cut those irrelevant scenes short and don´t cut the actual fight every minute with them.
Sakura was always strong in shippuden outside of the Byakuya seal Sakura didn’t have any power development she’s only seen as weak because her Taijutsu absolutely sucks so her hits hardly ever landed infact taijutsu was her worst subject in the academy
Hoenstly i think tenten couldve been one of the coolest taijutsu fighters she's a weapons master after all imagine instead of flinging all your weapons at once she actually pops out weapons one by one to confuse her enemy on how she will fight next wasted opportunity if you ask me... oh wait she sorta does that against herself
For once we have an arc in a generic battle shonen that is not resolved by the mc and you complain... It's also like the only arc where it's not Sasuke or Naruto saving the day and it's somehow a weak point? Naruto also didn't get stronger as in he doesn't hit harder in the time skip but what he got was more way more important for his development, he got love from a father fugure and was taught the basics of being a ninja, because before the time skip Naruto is an idiot that hits hard.
In was reading the Tenchi Bridge arc today and found many of the same issues in the anime weren’t present in the manga. For instance one of the things I really disliked in the anime was how much of a d1ck Sai was to Naruto. Sure he was uncool in the manga too but nearly to the same extent. There are a few panels of him antagonizing Naruto in the manga but in the anime it goes on pretty aggressively for three or more episodes. And then there’s the Naruto transforming into the 4 tails. In the anime that goes on for as long as Naruto and Kakashi hop along those logs in the Kazekage arc. It just goes on and on. In the manga again it is just a few panels. Overall the pacing in the manga is just so much better. This is probably why Shippuden has the reputation it has, unwarranted I’d say. I prefer Shippuden to part one. It’s just a more interesting part of the story, when done right.
Idk, I've only watched the anime and absolutely loved the first arc in Shippuden. It's still one of my favorites. Maybe I just dont follow the community as closely but I've nearly exclusively heard praise for the beginning.
I will admit this arc is overall good. Gaara sacrificing himself to saving his village, Dedera & Sasori's back and forth with each other about art is great, I like Sasori basically being the sand's version of orochimaru (in terms of being a former twisted member of The respective villages & playing with others body parts), Chyo's sacrifice is good and the fights in the arc are good too. Only real issue I have with this arc is more of a retroactive thing like this arc basically cemented the fact Gaara is jobber more often than not (I think the last time bro won a fight was at the end of part 1 against Kimimaro and that because he died from his illness. Still at least he lost protecting his home) and the other Sand siblings aren't much to right home about either but like I said that's more of retroactive problem and not a problem with the arc itself.
Gaara exists solely to lose, lol, the only fight I remember him barely winning was against Lee, and they became evenly matched, Lee only lost because his body had reached its limit. 😂
@@alltheworldsastage4785Gaara still wins regardless against Lee,Gaara was no longer psychotic and wasn't training or fighting in the time skip which is why he lost to Deidara,he was also worried about protecting the villagers from Deidara's explosions..

yeah but i assume in the cave sasori told deidara that he will take on the 9 tails which means deidara will be support and yet deidara got arrogant and wanted to take naruto for himself to get the credit of capturing naruto, he even said he should lure him farther in case sasori came out soon. @@justinarzola4584

I still remember the Kakashi and Naruto chasing Deidara driving me crazy in the anime

Sakura is at her peak in character, we get to see what the other powerful Shinobi of other villages can do as Chiyo is basically the sand village version of Kakashi, it directly reinforces the themes first presented in the land of waves, and Sasori’s death was entirely in character and was foreshadowed by Chiyo saying earlier “these (mother/father puppets) will be greater against him than any weapon.”
Chiyo’s presence + Sasori choosing to die allowed Sakura to show how much she’d grown while also making it clear the MCs aren’t anywhere near Akatsuki level yet. It’s a shame people let Sakura’s later character ruin this arc for them as it’s top 5 for me IN THE MANGA.

That fight against Sasori 👌🏼
through the whole Naruto timeline she did 3 useful things:
1. Healed Kankuro from Sasori poison
2. Helped beat Sasori (although Chiyo was the main cause of that, cuz she controlled Sakura apart from her puppets
3. She helped Sasuke teleport back when they fough Kaguya
All other things she did and the decisions she made made most of the situations WORSE and don't let me get started how fkn annoying she is, no wonder so many people hate her
I fucking love Chiyo, probably my second favorite female character in the series.

The funniest thing to me is Gai not remembering Kisame, one of the most conspicuous characters in the series, the big blue guy with the giant sword which looks like a supersized sorbet hidden in bandages until it reveals a big mass of sharp chakra-sucking scales.
What I liked about the arc:
1- Sakura's development in fighting and medicine.
2 - Kage level fight between Deidara and Gaara.
3 - 6th gate introduction.
4 - Chiyo and Sasori were cool and had good backstories.
5 - Kakashi using kamui.
What I disliked the most about the arc:
1 - (In the case of the Anime) The doppelganger fights.
Sasori was such a interesting and tragic character. His backstory was really sad to me😢

That should have been the way to handle it,having them learn each other's fighting styles.
This would also ironically work with the themes of reality vs dreams that comes up later on too
I was literally waiting that entire fight for them to swap opponents.

This impacted Sakura's depiction so much that Kishimoto claims it as a reason the manga never depicted her family. Based on this interview, it's clear that Sakura might be Naruto's most underappreciated ninja. and to add changing character completely would mess up the story especially since you had everything planned out and then Naruto would've been trash since Kishimoto has to rethink everything
He wrote her with a split personality from the start. He's lying.

Finally someone praising this arc
It actually felt like a good arc. Gaara vs deidara was hype and so was chiyo and sakura vs sasori.
After the Pain arc and Chunin exams arc this one is my favorite. Mad underrated
Then we cut wear he and Sakura are talking in the forest with the change, naruto saying :
"I have 2 possible plans. One I create an army of clones that will be attacking kakashi Sensei until he pass out because of CHAKRA EXHAUSTION. Or...."
And the rest is like canon.
Then you can have Naruto because of the wind training to learn :
a) "wind style rasengan" that gives him the ability to throw the rasengan (range attack, neads one shadow clone to create)
b) enhance his Kunai with wind chakra (not in the level of Asuma because his Kunai aren't made of chakra metal)
c) rasensuriken just like canon
Give him all that and no one would have any problem with early shippuden naruto and his abilities after the time skip.

@@skarlet0735she and tusnade were supposed to have fight in the pain arc but that's was cut down because of time
The pacing was really the problem in the anime.
We NEED a seasonal remake for the Naruto Anime
FullMetal Alchemist had a remake with Brotherhood that was more faithful to the manga. There's no way they couldn't have done the same with Naruto.
I was unaware people didn’t like this arc
Hoenstly i think tenten couldve been one of the coolest taijutsu fighters she's a weapons master after all imagine instead of flinging all your weapons at once she actually pops out weapons one by one to confuse her enemy on how she will fight next wasted opportunity if you ask me... oh wait she sorta does that against herself
For once we have an arc in a generic battle shonen that is not resolved by the mc and you complain... It's also like the only arc where it's not Sasuke or Naruto saving the day and it's somehow a weak point?
Naruto also didn't get stronger as in he doesn't hit harder in the time skip but what he got was more way more important for his development, he got love from a father fugure and was taught the basics of being a ninja, because before the time skip Naruto is an idiot that hits hard.
this guy and his takes are seriously underrated, love the content KageKnight
One of the few times the author handled sakura right
Love when you analyze the manga content.
Valeu!
Chiyo is way more useful than any of the geezers from the leaf
Idk, I've only watched the anime and absolutely loved the first arc in Shippuden. It's still one of my favorites. Maybe I just dont follow the community as closely but I've nearly exclusively heard praise for the beginning.
Early shippuden was spectacular and was alright until Sasuke was reintroduce killing orochimaru
Bro Naruto rewrite part 34 plz
I like this arc.
I remember Naruto being useless
Am i the only one whose favorite character is sasori
Hey man where is your BORUTO content ???
@@justinarzola4584 Gaara lost because he's a jobber.
The only fight tenten won was a fight tenten lost
Deidara was stupid and arrogant for separating from Sasori, they could have together killed everyone there and captured Naruto.
He thought sasori can wipe the floor with them
Deidara probably didn't want to take on all four of them( he avoided fighting all of team guy). and assumed Sasori would take out Sakura and Chiyo all by themselves.
yeah but i assume in the cave sasori told deidara that he will take on the 9 tails which means deidara will be support and yet deidara got arrogant and wanted to take naruto for himself to get the credit of capturing naruto, he even said he should lure him farther in case sasori came out soon.
