  • This video lesson describes converging-diverging nozzles, which have an hourglass shape with a minimal area in the throat region. These nozzles are used to accelerate flows to very high speeds in aircraft and spacecraft. This lesson is part of the Ansys Innovation Course: Internal Compressible Flows. Hi everyone, I am sorry, I still don't get the point what really happens if incompressible fluid flow through the CD nozzle? why the density change can affect the acceleration of the compressible fluid
    thanks
