a blue-black always looks better, it hides the details far less then straight up black, very nicely painted too

my only question is what did you do to mix the corax white and pallid wych flesh. i can never get the pigment to mix into the medium on those. super grainy

Two Templar themed projects that I'd love to hobby into existence. First, is recreating the OG Emperor's Champion in Primaris scale (The first metal model holding the sword in a two handed pose). Second, is recreating my roommate's character from when we played the pen and paper Deathwatch RPG days gone past. Dual wielding Storm Bolters in terminator armor.

Wow you should set up a painting business. You could make tons of money painting peoples figures for them. Heck I have seen people re-painting Batman figures for money and they seem to be able to afford an apartment… could be a business model for you.

I recently finished my Helbrecht conversion of this Terminator Captain, really dynamic base to work from and quite chuffed with the end result. These custom sculpted details on your dream model are on another level though, and the paintjob is first class as always!

how did you paint the face and his beard and hair? it looks really good
Cheers - there is a link on the end screen for faces and the beard was just mechanicus grey highlighted by adding some white and drawing downward lines
It's very nice, but I think the raised parts of the cloak/cape and tabard are too much.
In the beginning i was about to say that looked like an Ultramarine's terminator Captain, like Agemman then you said you went all about and got a custom my lord its sweet

What size are the chains? I might do that for all my generic looking marines xD
They are a 1mm link - the key is the shape - these are more of a curved rectangular shape than the standard round link
@@ThePaintingCoach Thanks very much for the info :-D I'd love to be able to sculpt like that lol. There is not many good options for Terminator castellans or terminator sword brethren. I'm gonna have to get creative lol.

Looks amazing 😊 I bought the captain in terminator armor 3 times😊 first is an ultramarine second an iron hand third one dark angel with heavy flamer and legion shoulder from the deathwing assault box😊
