I have bought from them as an international buyer from Down Under on a number of accordions and always been happy with what arrives. They helped my Buck Roger collection!!!!
Awesome toy hunt pixel Dan I really love Dallas vintage toys one of my favorite places in Dallas I wish I was there today maybe someday if you do come back here to Dallas we could meet up there!
I highly recommend watching a 24 minute video titled 'TOY HUNTING with Pixel Dan - Massive Food Fighters Figures and Collectibles Haul!' posted on November 20th, 2016. It's probably among my 10 favorite videos on this channel.
I like watching your vids Dan, I dont seem them all but here and there and its fun to watch ya tour places and check out their stock. It seems like you ought to own your own vintage toy shop where half of it is a shop and the other half houses your own collection as a museum of sorts. You need your own shop for RUclipsrs to go check out and then sell your own stock and have conversations with people that go to visit you like this.
One reason I love watching people toy hunt, other than nostalgia, is because I'm hoping to see an old toy I had that I can hopefully identify later, and rebuy it. Also for the Johnny Quest, I had the Cyber Cycle when I was younger, and bought it again recently. Gotta LOVE those translucent toys.
I have a plastic toy box in the basement, from when I was a kid. It’s all red, and it looks like a pirate’s treasure chest. It’s serviced almost a dozen moves, but it’s still in fairly decent shape.
Hey Dan the Power Sword and shield item that you thought might be a party favor was a Burger King item like the cups. It's a straw holder and has a groove in the back of the sword for the straw to slip into. Great vid!
The Barbie talk makes me wonder if Stina ever owned a Princess of Power toy in the eighties? I'm guessing the answer is no because it would be worth mentioning. By the way, Trap-Jaw looks surprisingly fierce wearing cosmic enforcer weapons pak/Wun-Dar armor at 19:40.
When I was a kid I saw a big box under the Christmas tree and thought it was that huge Dino Riders Brontosaurus, but it ended up being a stupid globe that lit up. Which I kept as a sort of lamp. Most disappointed Christmas in my young life.
Props to Dallas Vintage Toys, it appears to be a very well organized, very clean store. However, checking out their prices for figures on the site, yikes. Just looking at what they are charging for 2020/2021 retail Transformer figures vs. MSRP vs. eBay prices and there's a large disconnect and it's not in favor of DVT.
Hey PD if you are going to get an MOTU box art put in your bathroom 🚽🛀 you need to go with Mosquitor with front and back. Get the cross sell and the card art at the top of the box. Then the figure posed from the front with the red rock burst.
Of course, you're right. Mosquitor would be the appropriate choice and look terrific as you describe. On the other hand, it might be even more surreal to enter a bathroom and be greeted by a Fearsome Flush mural. :)
@@KintounKal if they have more than 1 bathroom they can do both. He could also get one of those toilet "cakes" that makes the water green and keeps it "fresh" so the fearsome flush looks like it is full of ectoplasm.
@@FebMon Your cakes suggestion takes a quirky idea and pushes it to the next level. it's brilliant. If Pixel Dan doesn't turn this concept into a reality, somebody else really should.
Wow impressive warehouse full of stuff there Dan. However after collecting MOTU for 30 years I’m not sure why seeing all this has questioned my future of collecting. I started off collecting with the attitude of preserving old toys from my childhood so they didn’t become lost to the past. But seeing it in bulk in a warehouse and considering what’s already in the hands of millions of collectors worldwide … am I living in an over crowded house filled with motu for nothing, even though my collection is extensive and I have many of the obscure items it’s not even a drop in the Eternian ocean … I have no family so won’t be able to pass any of it on to anyone so one day it will probably be discarded or donated so the monetary value will never be seen by me.
I’m a little jaded after watching this. Seeing so many toys and playsets being stored in the back and then seeing how much these things are going for online and how “rare” they are, yet there’s 8 there in a bag or a stack of 4 boxes. Makes me wonder why my hobby has gotten so expensive lately.
One last toy store visit. The radio switched off as the words "2hrs 15minutes until the meteor strikes folks, this is PMS signing off and wishing you all a good life and a peaceful death..." The road stretches out before you, your memories fading in the rear view mirror of your mind... You never did find that Mexican Variant ScareGlow with the pink cape but perhaps, just perhaps, he'll be waiting for you up the road. One last toy store visit. Then off to the great unknown. It's that kind of music 😊👍
Great Video. I'm the one who bought the Dino riders T-Rex.
How amazing that the store team restores their stock as it comes in before hitting the floor! What an outstanding effort. Mighty impressed. 😎
I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VIDEO! Dallas vintage toys is one of the best toy stores I’ve ever been to!
Love Dallas Vintage, got to respect the way Shawn does business 👏
I live about three hours from Dallas, DVT is a must stop every time I’m in Dallas.
Great video , Im from México and I love Dallas Vintage Toys store !
They better be calling that graded room "Castle Grade-skull"
Thanks for letting me play in your reindeer games. Weekend was a blast!
This is overwhelming not just the quantity but the organization of everything. I had that Robocop Cryo Safe when I was a kid.
That store is amazing! It's like a factory in the back lol Awsome haul Dan, can't wait for the rest of the videos of this trip :)
Nice video of DVT and other toy bits and bobs from the weekend outing,Dan.
Love Dallas Vintage. Its pretty much the only place I buy Star Wars vintage toys. EXCELLENT shipping and packing!
I have bought from them as an international buyer from Down Under on a number of accordions and always been happy with what arrives. They helped my Buck Roger collection!!!!
I'm glad you finally got to see it. I love going to DVT. You can always find something.
Nostalgia overload ... Wow .. Mind BLOWN
Great video Dan! Love the toy hunt videos
So much good stuff 🤩
Awesome looking store. Thanks for another great toy hunt vid, Dan!

I really enjoyed this video thanks for sharing 😌
The Food Fighters! Those gave me childhood flashbacks. I completely forgot about those yet I had all of them. This video was trippy. Thanks man.

I love watching the reboot of Jonny Quest! More serious than the old one.
That warehouse tour is very wild! So much stuff!
I would have spent over $200 if I was there. They have so much amazing stuff!
And you would've only walked out w 1 piece lol...I went a couple years ago...the place is dope af but crazy expensive!!!!
You must be young to think $200 is a substantial amount to spend on vintage toys.
Great toy hunt
Increíble recorrido por una increíble tienda, gracias por compartir, saludos desde Chile
Dan great as always
Amazing finds. Great video.

4:40 I’d love to be strapped to Dolph’s thigh, but I digress. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 But for real… so cool!
Awesome store ! 👏👏👏
My son and I used to frequent that store often when in Dallas. Have lots of great finds there!!!! Great store.
Great to see you in Texas, Dan! Are you coming to the Austin area?
I like how u and the other guy have the same black and white sneakers on lol
Awesome!

Amazing video Dan. Kyle Peterson needs those G.I.Joe roller skates
Tell me those are shoes they make you wear into the store otherwise how in the heck you guys wearing matching shoes?? 😂😂😂

All I got to say about them back rooms is WOW 😳. I would be having a field day back there.
Oh cool, I got that Turtle Toy bin from back in the day.
That Mexico Skeletor is a variant of dragon Blaster Skeletor you could tell by the boots and the triangle paint job on his face
So much stuff yall got to look at!! Holy schneiky! But Mexican Skeletor stole the show lol
People keep telling me we sound alike so I had to check the channel out! Great content dude!
In the UK we are lucky to find a small vintage toy store let alone one like this, markets are totally different
That Ultraman figure in the background definitely catched my eye
that red He-man head looks like one i had as a child that snapped onto the end of a flashlight covering the light
Of course you gotta stop at Buccee’s when you’re down here. 👊
I WAS JUST JN DALLAS YESTERDAY AND THE OTHER DAY I LIVE IN TEXAS
Something I owned as a kid lives in that warehouse. I guarantee it.
Now I know where most of the Chile M.A.S.K. haul wound up.
You should open a place like that.
When I was a kid I saw a big box under the Christmas tree and thought it was that huge Dino Riders Brontosaurus, but it ended up being a stupid globe that lit up. Which I kept as a sort of lamp. Most disappointed Christmas in my young life.
Super toy hunt and super guys
I be likin’ Ghostbusters
Awesome 👍
Dan and the manager are wearing the same shoes. What is going on?
That opening music made me think of Brian's Song.
Look at Greco going up in the world
Right place, wrong time ;)
@@grecofabulous I bet you tried to smell Pixel Dan's hair
I buy something from their website for myself every year on my birthday.

Hm, you're on my home turf.
COOL!
You need to take totshiz here!
Was the human sized Power Sword custom or from a release?
I'm masters of the universe fun but I don't see any thundercats
Gotta tell the Major Pod about this place I think Cardona was looking for the toy boxes
Always remember - Buc-ee makes it all better
Wow.
I don’t ever remember anyone ever in a Jeffery costume lol
I would love to go there !! My wallet would not survive.
i was here a few weeks ago :3
I got a couple of those booglegs ceramic status I got mine from Greece but I know they where made in Spain and china
OK I love to have that DIno riders brontosarus. I have the T rex. That is a Holy grail piece for me then. That Brontosaurus.
Hold on, what is that dinosaur at 19:08?
I missed sooo many things 🤦🏻♂️.

Aaarrrrggghhh the freaking music
Dan, you now look like Joakim Brodén's (singer of metal band Sabaton) American brother.

This store proves that there is no such thing as a rare toy.
BraveStarr :O
wish I could work for those boys, I would work for what I want
Lol, you can tell transformers don’t interest Dan at all, I’m trying to figure out what those beast wars toys were while the camera flys past
I was thinking the exact same thing! Waving at the TV! Go back! Go back!
Hey Dan.. If I want to send you something, is there some address you can give me? 😊
This is unreal.
YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THE REAL ADVENTURES OF JONNY QUEST!!!? You missed out on a great part of life.
Woa i canot say that how meny turtles toys thair are
Of course you worked at Toys'R'Us and wore the Jeffrey suit
you should not wear a backpack while shopping in someone's store it doesn't look good
the music on the intro was extremely sad , why not putting something more cool happy and nostalgic ?
Oh yeah. Such an odd choice. Like I’m going on a road trip to a very sad destination. 😪
