    I bought myself a wooden shed, a small one that’s only 4 x 8’. It’s small but the wood is quite strong it feels heavy duty. Painted it and now I will insulate it with some foam board insulation. I use it for storage but don’t have too much stuff, so it has now become my man cave and personal space as well. Pretty cool chill and hangout spot.

    Lifetime has been a great shed. Have had mine for about 14 years and it's still standing and strong as ever! Color hasn't faded the windows/skylights are still clear/no leaks. Wouldn't touch a Suncast.

      That is great to know! That is one of my biggest concerns, so it's good to hear yours as held strong.

    Looks nice! I bought an all plastic one a couple of years ago. It was shorter. After a couple of Phoenix area summers, it started warping and would no longer hold together. It was on the east wall that received mostly afternoon shade from the house.
    I have since bought a wooden one that is not nearly as wide as yours, and it has survived a couple of our summers in the same spot as the plastic one.
    But I think that the metal in your container should help it hold its shape much better than my old plastic one did.

      It will be interesting to see. I knew it was a risk potentially with the heat, but that area is fairly shaded. But for the price, it was worth saving my sanity when it came to organizing my harden stuff - LOL!

    It turned out. I just put together a 7x7x 7.5 high shed. Level spot is the best. Preferable on concrete. It was an experience for sure. Try to pick out one that is vented for summer heat. Mine has windows. Keep it pretty with some 303 sun block.

    Hello fellow Phoenician. Great video. Definitely gives a better perspective versus reading the reviews online. Since this material is HDPE it shouldn't be effected by heat till over 200F. I will likely try my luck with one too

      @A_Warriors_Garden  3 месяца назад +1

      Thanks! That is good to know about the HDPE - if we reach 200f my garden tools will be the least of my concerns! If you get it, I hope it works out well for you. Good luck!

      Good to know. I purchased before seeing this video. Should be here next week. This was my concern of this type of shed.

      Greetings from Arizona! Yeah, that's my biggest concern, but it will work for now. I am so glad to get all that stuff my out of my garage, and into a place that is easier to access.

    If you turned that board on it's edge, you would have a much flatter/level surface to level off of. It's a flooring board, so those edges have to be straight because they are mating surfaces. @6:41 just as you're saying "It'll work for now'' you can clearly see a bow in the horizontal plane of that board, hence my opening statement. 👍

    • @A_Warriors_Garden
      @A_Warriors_Garden  18 дней назад

      very good point! I hadn't thought of turning it on its edge.

    Looks great! You made that look easy even though I’m sure it’s a kind of complicated! I need one of these in my yard!!

      Thanks! It was a bit complicated, but not terrible. I did edit a bit out of the video (mostly me standing there thinking - lol), but there were a few frustrating moments when I had to get parts to fit right.

    Perfect timing! Was eyeballing one similar to this one in a C-box-store ad yesterday! Here’s hoping the heat isn’t a problem for your shed.
    Cheers

    Fun watching. But that segment of flooring board was definitely not straight. It was slightly bowed!

      You are correct! I actually had to go back later and correct it slightly before I put stuff in the shed

    Is there any pitch to keep water from accumulating on the top, you know in AZ it’s going to warp.

    • @A_Warriors_Garden
      @A_Warriors_Garden  23 дня назад

      There is a slight pitch to the back so water will run off. We have had a few heavy rainstorms since I put it together and there have been no issues. The heat warping it is my number one concern, so I guess we will see. I plan to do a follow up video this fall about how it weathered the heat.
