I have the Annabel’s in my backyard that gets full southern exposure. They are great until June and they start to brown. Any tips? Would another one work better? Thanks!!
Annabelle’s are your best bet for that full sun . Mine also turn brown when they get too much sun. Is it possible to move them to place that gets afternoon shade ? If so, do this in fall. If not , maybe you can plant a taller plant nearby like a crepe Myrtle that will provide some shade for it in the afternoon . Also keep up with the watering , that also helps . 🌸🌸🤗
Hi Kelly, Please please could either you or any of your subscribers help me with some advice. I’m in the UK 🇬🇧 and two years ago I managed to get my hands on a Proven Winners Annabelle Hydrangea (pink). It’s has had beautiful pink blooms however this year the blooms are small and a creamy brown old looks bloom, I was wondering how to make the blooms pink again? I have been researching for myself, unfortunately I cannot find an answer to my question. Should I add Lime to the soil? Kelly I really enjoy your videos and watch them on tv where I’m subscribed to your channel, I have just noticed that I wasn’t subscribed on RUclips via my iPad which I have put right. X
Hey Susie, so I think that your hydrangea may not be an Annabelle since they have blooms that always come in white and then fade to green. I think it may be a mop head hydrangea . You can alter the ph of the soil by adding either eggshells to the soil or a product from you local nursery or amazon that can raise the ph if the soil . Here is an amazon link to a product I use to get my Mophead Hydrangeas pink 👉 amzn.to/3WAJ9Ya Good luck . So happy you are now subscribed for my channel on your iPad and tv 💃💃
HELP....My "climbing hydrangea" has scaled my home, 15 feet up....HAS NEVER BLOOMED!!! What is going on? Seems to love it,s location, has good soil, fertilizer as directed...NEVER BLOOMED...EVER!
Oh no! Sounds like it may have too much fertilizer . If it has too much nitrogen it will give lots of greens leaves but may not give flowers . Lay off the fertilizer for a season or two and see what happens 🌸

@@KellyLehman thank you. Is it best to water them at the base with full sun?
Should I add bloom fertilizer if mine are not blooming?
You can add some fertilizer now . But don’t fertilize past August .
