14:04 Beautiful .. loved to see just humans being humans. Made me cry.. helping one another... no one judging another.. Realizing you both live different lives.. it's human to love and help. Take notes.
Wonderful video once again! As we celebrate Christmas today around this beautiful planet, one thing I have found true is the observation that most people who live the simplest lives, often have the strongest faith in God. My wife and I grew up on opposites sides of the Earth, yet met in University as medical researchers. We have spent our entire adult life (retired now) amongst internationals. As scientists we have spent our careers following the science for facts. One thing we could never deny was the fact that the overwhelming majority of happy and content people we have encountered in our lives are those who have faith in God. We in the "West" often think we have "all the answers" and can control the destiny of our lives, yet often times what we discover is a void that longs to be filled. We believe we know how the universe started, yet we cannot understand how something came into existence from "nothing", yet it did. So, show me "god"? Perhaps we're looking too hard for "Him" when He is right in front of us......Didn't mean to "preach", yet today as we celebrate Christmas around the world, I hope everyone can find the ultimate purpose in life that comes with an inner peace so many have found outside the material world. Merry Christmas.
Just happened upon you channel and literally fell in love with it. My dad always liked sailing, he purchased a 40 foot sloop and wanted to do the great circle but sadly passed prior to that realization. You look like great folks and will follow your adventures for sure on your channel. One thing I noticed was that the adults barely wear life vests, please at least one wear one, those kiddos are beautiful and need you. Lost a friend here in Florida to drowning, he was ripped with muscle, great shape, could out swim a dolphin (not literally) but drowned in a lake, yes a lake from falling overboard from a canoe. Apparently he got dehydrated to the point that he passed out when he stood quickly, fell in and authorities found him the next day. No wind, rough water, speed or anything, just plain dehydration. Well, just an observation, love the channel and subscribed to follow along.
Well I was surfing alone these days and, got panicked about fainting from anxiety in the middle of the sea, I went out of the water very fast and nervous. Got a little bit sad bc I wasn’t sure if I was going to have the courage to fight these bad thoughts and comeback to the water to do what I love which is surfing… seeing this video I got the answer, I belong to the sea, there is where I want to be. I’ll comeback to the sea this weekend and fight my anxiety and bad thoughts about a place that makes me so good.

Merry Christmas Nahoa family from Kershaw South Carolina USA! May your travels be safe. Thank you for sharing your travels and your family with us. You brought a tear to my eyes in this one. Thank you.
Thank you for the peaceful music. So many other channels fill our ears with noisy, distracting unpleasant music that never fits the scenes. I love the natural sounds and the peaceful music you chose ❤️

Blessed are you and your wife: I admire your generosity and kindness in helping humanity, those that are really far away, out of reach, you have open your beautiful HEART to give gifts of value that will assist them!
Excellent video! In 1980 I was at Gibraltar having lunch and chatting with a couple in their late 60's who'd been sailing for 7 years at that time. They said people ought to take the time off to do that early enough. All through the years since I wonder about them and how their travels went, and the boat might still be around somewhere.
I really needed this video today. Without getting into it, you pretty much said near the outro. Its easy to get lost , but in your own head is the worst place to do so. Thank you for putting it in to perspective. I watch all your videos and love watching the journey.
You can really tell from those islanders that the original Malagasies are descended from Austronesian voyagers. I recognized masts and sails that are still very similar to Polynesian designs.
What an appropriate day to upload some reality. As we're inundated with Christmas gifts under the tree, what a reality check with what's important in life. There's a RUclipsr who travels power boats usually out of Australia and has gotten stuck on a Sand Spit at least once for quite a while (his boat was cracked badly) . He and his girl friend had a challenging experience to say the least. One of the thing these types of tribes do is take Turtles. That is sad. The boats there were quite unique and usually quite small 100 percent sailed. Very few motors. They also have races. Some parts have more sailing tourists than others , but all must watch out for smash/grab stuff even though it is rare, it happens. Huge oil damage to part of the coast. As I said, Delos spent a ton of time at Nosey Bee. (sp) ? I think the most unique boats were in Indonesia ! And you showed us a ton about those boats, I'll not forget that !
It was very interesting how on such a small island/sandspit the locals are painting/repairing there boat as we do carry spare parts glue and paint etc to repair our boat. No different. Just living with the elements and what you have. Great to see. Thank you Cheers and enjoy
