I am a 69 year old man with a large amount of arthritis throughout my body. These videos help me understand my specialist when he tries to explain me why I am going through hell because of my worn out joints. I love youtube!

Do you find grouping muscles based on their insertions is easier than grouping muscles based on thier actions?

I had radiation therapy to my L axillary lymph nodes for breast cancer. Both my infra- and supra-spinatus muscles were completely wiped out: there is no nervous innervation to them. Not too much fun, but I'm surviving without the ability to externally rotate my L arm.

I can't imagine how challenging that is. But I'm glad you're surviving. Wishing you all the best!

Just returned from the gym. A young female was exercising nearby. She had an exceptionally well developed group of these muscles. For a minute I couldn't remember their names. Your beautiful description filled me in. Thanks.
