I don't listen to country music HOWEVER it's an OK song. The video doesn't depicted a small town and it shows way too much violence which WE ARE ALL SICK OF! No matter the violence; robberies, snatch purses in parking lots, riots (of any kind) and murdering people, it has gone on too far. I understand IF he was trying to portray “don't do it anymore” but I'm also not sure what the "video producer" was trying to say.
After watching the video, I also question his usage of the terms "small town" & "round here". Does the words really mean what you're saying or doesn't it mean something without saying it.
Example: "I'm in a bad side of town"
We ALL know what that means. I lived in the bad side of town and we all knew what it meant. It was offensive.
I wish he would just come out and say “I had no idea about the history of this location and I would never have filmed my video in such a painful place". IF HE FEELS THIS WAY! Now knowing, he still hasn't said THESE words.
Don't mind CMT playing songs but can't he just make another video so we will move on to more important topics. I have more TRUE crime to get back to. lol
