Aww since ur "coming back" I taught my budgie MoMo target training in order to learn more complicated tricks that u make. This is his first trick and I'm so proud.😭 tysm
Hi. I love your videos and I was wondering what treats you give them. I have some treats but my pet parakeets don't want to go near them. Do you have any ideas on how to easily introduce the treats?
Too cute. But I would have called it DIWN THE RABBIT HOLE. My parrotlet Yogi won't do stuff for me but my conure loved to learn this so much she is always shoving he head between my fingers. Keep up the great work.
I am always looking for new tricks to teach my parrotlet, Nugget, and this one was great. It was fun to see it taught from start to finish and you imparted lots of tips along with it. You are my favorite trainer and I have used your methods to teach my bird a dozen tricks to amuse my grandkids. Thank you!
Hi sorry for the long post but theirs allot going on right now and it's so hard for me. Recently my bird Rio died and he was just like Mia. After I when online to see what he died of and found your chanal. I love seeing your birds. And in one video you said that Mia had liver desease, but I feed Rio vegetables everyday. Then later a bird died at sweetbriar nature center, I looked into their diet and found that it was a all seed. So I told them and now I give them vegetables but they didn't even go over to it how did you get Mia eating vegetables? It would help the other 6 birds their. Thx!
I just recently started target training my Parrotlet and I am so surprised on how quick he learned to touch the targeting stick considering before I started clicker training he was Suuuuuuuuuper slow in understanding what I wanted. I really look forward to build on his trust and confidence with the targeting training and I will use it to make him step up on me eventually :D
Do you have a video about target training? If not, could you show us how to train your bird to understand that specific subject? I'm getting a young budgie in a couple of weeks and would love to learn him things like this :)!
Hello! I heard you mention an emergency kit for your birds in a couple of videos, and I was wondering if you could do a detailed video about it. Explaining what you keep in your emergency kit, and what the uses for the items are... I am thinking of getting a bird in the future, and I want to be as much informed as I possibly can. (Side note: I discovered your channel this week, and I love your videos!)
Hello 😊,Have you done a video on how to take a bird? I have 2 lovebirds and I want to tame them, if you haven't done a video on this, can you? Please, thanks! 😊
hi! i was wondering if you could do a target training video, your videos inspire me soo much and now i'm going to get a bird but i want mine to be able to do tricks and stuff, so i was wondering if you could do a target training video, and a what to do when you take home your new bird video/caring for your bird, and that "laps" tutorial in your 20 tricks video!!
I have a quick (kinda stupid) question. My bird is trained and stuff but she never gets off her cage if she is outside of it. She's been everywhere in my house and she seems very comfortable in it. I was wondering if I was doing anything wrong or if that's normal? thanks :)
I rescued pair of bond budgies, and boy and a girl semi tamed. And i've been working with the boy and he been stepping on my finger, eat of my hands, stay on my shoulder and even go out with me... On the other hand, the female is just complete opposite, she would step on my finger and thats it, and then run away from me. So everytime i put them back together and the next day when i try to take the boy out, he's like acting all brand new like we've never train before!! My question is that is it because of the "less" tamed female kinda impacted the male alittle bit? Should i seperate them? I would hate to do that because the past owner say they grew up together. THey are around 5 to 6 years old!!
hi i have a blue male parottlet he can come everywhere on my body but he afraids my hand always i tried everything but unfortunately i cant train him do you have a trick :(
Awe! So cute! I have a question really quick: In your 20 Bird Tricks video you showed the "laps". Can you please do a tutorial on this? I have 4 4-5 month old parakeets and I want to teach them a trick like that because they are really good flyers at such a young age. Thanks!
whenever i try to train my bird, he gets aggressive as heck and will get impatient and bite. i tried clicker training and target. whenever he does something wong and focuses on the food too much (he jumps on my hand and tries to get the food...) i then set him down and tell him to let say...'step up' again (for the fith time) cause he's focusing on the food too much, he would scream, jump on my hand and rush to bite the hand holding the clicker really badly (he sometimes even draws blood)... It also doesn't help that i don't know when he's hungry, starving or not hungry at all. How can i tell?
I'm getting a cockatiel next week. He will be eight weeks when I get him. How long you recommend I wait before I start training him? Is there a certain age you recommend?
Hey flock talk, I'm getting a budgie in approximately 12 hours do you have any tips?? I L💖VE him to bits, I've been watching your channel since the 1st of January 2017 and have fallen in love with your birds and I would love to have a bird like that.
Hello just wanted to say that your videos are very entertaining i getting a parakeet in a couple months so I’m getting busy on researching them you are help (srry I’m French learning English 😅 sorry if I don’t make scene
Alyssa Grasso seeds but not those bird seeds you get from stores. No no no, I'm talking about the good stuff like pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, etc, keep it different each time you give em treats tho, because they might get bored of the same treat if you use the same one for too long!
I doubt they really will totally forget. They don't have a short memory by any means. When I don't train with my bird for a few months and I decide to break em out again, it takes him a bit to warm up (i.e. doing the tricks a couple of times) and then it's like we never stopped training!
Jesus's Life all birds can learn (not every but majority), but each bird is different, just like us, so the time that will take to train your bird will vary
Never more them I'm my home! I had tried the oldest over 10 years and I have always tried so long with my boys but now I left then away and take not so aggressive bird any more. When I got my first one I couldn't find any info about them but now I cannot have them any more...hi. Annelie B
Same person here. My parrotlet..... just died. Today he was trying to die alone, he wasn't chirping or moving. My mom took him to the vet but he died. Yesterday when I commented he was so happy. He was either sick or had head injuries. I'm a fool, I couldn't even rais him properly.
You're so cool! I been watching your videos always before I go to bed. Thank you for sharing your videos. Please don't stop uploading more. Always connected to you .Don.🙂👍
• Michela • since i work full time ive onky been able to get em to kiss, fly to me and the target stick. ive owned parakeets for years, this my first tiel and OMG r they smart! so much smarter and much much cuddlier
• Michela • it took about a month to get used tk the house and me. then about a month - 2 he is learning new stuff. right now i am training him to do laps. since his feather just grew & he is learning how to fly. he is scared to land anywhere so he just fly's to me :D
I have a blue male pacific parrotlet, I tried to teach it play dead but he just wants to snuggle. At least I taught him lay down.
Aww that’s so precious

great video! I love necklace too xxx
Can you please make a video of were you get your seeds, or were to go to get proper seeds that are healthy for your bird. thank you
I have a quick (kinda stupid) question. My bird is trained and stuff but she never gets off her cage if she is outside of it. She's been everywhere in my house and she seems very comfortable in it. I was wondering if I was doing anything wrong or if that's normal? thanks :)
I am so happy you are back. You're gorgeous btw
I love your
Vids thanks for teaching me some parakeet tricks
Does it work with all kind of bird all your trick? like budgies or parakeet?
I rescued pair of bond budgies, and boy and a girl semi tamed. And i've been working with the boy and he been stepping on my finger, eat of my hands, stay on my shoulder and even go out with me... What do you keep the treats in when you do training?
This is a very cute trick I tought my budgidares/budgies/parakeets what ever you call them. Anyway i like this trick :)
Hello .. Can someone tell what is the treat she's giving to the bird?
whenever i try to train my bird, he gets aggressive as heck and will get impatient and bite. i tried clicker training and target. whenever he does something wong and focuses on the food too much (he jumps on my hand and tries to get the food...) i then set him down and tell him to let say...'step up' again (for the fith time) cause he's focusing on the food too much, he would scream, jump on my hand and rush to bite the hand holding the clicker really badly (he sometimes even draws blood)... I'm getting a cockatiel next week. He will be eight weeks when I get him. How long you recommend I wait before I start training him? Is there a certain age you recommend?

Alyssa Grasso
seeds but not those bird seeds you get from stores. No no no, I'm talking about the good stuff like pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, etc, keep it different each time you give em treats tho, because they might get bored of the same treat if you use the same one for too long!
What is the kind of the 🐦 bird pls reply
what kind of treats do you give them?

I used to have 2 males but then we got a female and now the males won't eat out of my hand, or let me train them. How do I get their attention back?
Can u make your bird to talk
It could be called head dunk
How fast do birds forget tricks if they are not using them?
I doubt they really will totally forget. They don't have a short memory by any means. When I don't train with my bird for a few months and I decide to break em out again, it takes him a bit to warm up (i.e. doing the tricks a couple of times) and then it's like we never stopped training!
How to change command from step up to wave
are those sesame seeds?
Does anyone know if lovebirds can learn to do these tricks?
Jesus's Life
all birds can learn (not every but majority), but each bird is different, just like us, so the time that will take to train your bird will vary
Okay thanks :)
