It might not be the speaker, if you still have music coming out of it, the audio jack you're using might not do stereo sound, or the headphones might not

I've listened to this with multiple pairs of headphones and earbuds, and also had a friend listen to it.

Thanks, this made readjusting my stereo monitors a breeze. I didn't want to check where the audio cables were going, this was the easiest and quickest way to find out whether they were plugged in the opposite way or not. They were.

That's because most cheap earphones have split audio wich means the high tones will be louder on one side and the low ones on the other side

Most the time the one with the volume adjusting thing is the left one. Putting it on correctly everytime might be annoying but at some point you will automatically do it correctly without even noticing.

Why is it so difficult for some companies to mark their earbuds? It literally costs less than dirt to do so.
There is also a problem with labeled ones too. Right one can have the left one's sound and vice versa.

This actually helped me realize what was wrong! I have a pair of vintage KLH Model Six speakers with a 3-way high frequency switch on the back. I must have bumped the right one down from "normal" to "decrease" and the difference was so hard to pin down but I knew something was up. Back in sync now and enjoying some Blue Oyster Cult! Thank you!
