- Making an adapter plate for a skid steer hydraulic hammer to mount on my mini excavator. I used the titanium 65 plasma cutter from harbor freight to cut some 3/4” plate steel for the mount.

Good video . If I had a sore finger like the one you had , I'd be showing that to a lot of people I know .
@@michaelthul6013 Thanks! I believe I showed it to a few people! Lol!
Looking at one of these in Northern Nevada. I need to modify for a 580 Case Backhoe/Loader for doing posts in mountainside. Thanks for the video information!
Awesome! Good luck with your modifications! I hope it serves you well! Mine is still going strong! 👍🏻 Anytime!
thank you for your support
Anytime!
if you have a skid steer you could have built or bought a adapter that goes from quick attach to the excavator then you could use it on both
I thought about that but I don’t have a skid steer and probably won’t have one for a while but when I get one, I’ll probably do just that. 👍🏻 Thanks!
Sure beats hammer drill then feather and wedge! Be sure to keep us updated on how it holds up and how many hours you put on it!!
Sure does! I’ve used those a few times! I’ve been using it a lot lately. No problems so far! 🤞
Have you used it much? How has it held up?
I’ve used it A LOT! It’s held up very well under some pretty heavy use. I used it to hammer out tons of limestone rock at our lake property. I’ll link the playlist to those videos if you’d like to check them out. There’s lots of hammering with it in those videos. I’d buy it again. 👍🏻

what style quick coupler is that??
It’s a Kubota quick coupler that fits the Kubota U55-4 and KX057-4 machines. Maybe others.
Did you mess around with nitrogen having a hassle finding a place who would fill it up
@@Morencyandsons oh yea! I finally found a welding gas supply shop that agreed to fill it after I went to a hydraulic supply place and pieced an adapter together so the welding supply shop could hook it up. Finally I had a spare argon tank that I exchanged for a nitrogen tank and used the adapter myself at home. So far so good. Lol. It’s not easy for sure!
@@MountainMindsethahaha indeed it's like an easter egg hunt. Welding supplyer is going to be my next stop i guess. Thanks for the reply
@@Morencyandsons for sure! Hopefully they can piece something together for you. If not, the hydraulic fitting place had lots of thread styles and sizes to piece an adapter together. Good luck! 👍🏻
Great video, Please tell me what you did for the hoses what are those odd ball fittings ?
I believe I ended up using 3/4” fittings. The threads were the same but it still didn’t look right. No leaks though! Lol!
I bought the 680 post driver im hoping to buy the breaker end to be able to swap them out says you can on the website but there out of stock
I’d say that would be handy! I wonder how hard it would be to make one yourself? May be a good winter project!
@@MountainMindset that's the next step if I can't find one
@@BlakeMerckleTrucking Hopefully you can find one. Maybe one of the dealers that sell these hammers carries the post driver.
Have you tried to charge yet. I got the same thing and due to the funky threads I can't find anyone to fill the bottle? Any advice would be appreciated.
I’m not sure where but another guy on here said he got his filled somewhere in Nashville I believe. He had the 750 on a skid steer but it had the same bottle. Sorry I don’t have any better information.
Did you figure out the issue? Or is this a older clip
I filmed most of this days before my truck messed up. Some of it after. I wish it were fixed! Lol. Still no updates sadly.
@@MountainMindset got you makes sense I was like dang that was a quick fix, hopefully it’s something small
@@ZethHardman I hope so too! No updates as of yet but I called the dealership and they said hopefully they would be diagnosing it tomorrow. 🤞
