    I spent the day doing what you did. However I ran out of sunlight! I recently bought the 4700, as I got closer to my house it started going slower & slower. By the time I got to my house the 4700 was going about 15 mph! It took me several hours to go about 120 miles. It was the last 20 miles that it slowed down to a crawl. I replaced the fuel filter, & removed & cleaned the small screen housing. The screen was plugged solid. I don’t know how it even ran. Tomorrow is another day! Not sure if I’m seeing this right, but doing the case drain like you did are you not sending unfiltered oil directly to the tank to be sucked up by the pump if you have a malfunction in the mower head?? It looks like the large rubber hoses you removed to take the top of the oil tank off sent the oil to the hydraulic filter before it enters the oil in the tank. I would be worried about sending dirty oil in.

    • @MountainMindset

    The pinion angle will probably always be off except for at one exact ride height. The length of the lower link is so short it will change the angle quite a bit with even a little bit of change in ride height. I am going to do a 4 link with fairly long bars on mine to minimize this.

    • @MountainMindset
      @MountainMindset 24 дня назад

      @@alexs1181 to get them lined up where I wanted them on the truck, the holes would have to be drilled in the flared part of the step bar bracket so they wouldn’t work that way for me. The 5th gen the bolt holes are quite a bit farther apart for that reason I guess. The boards length fit really well but are a little longer than the crew cab length boards. Your ride height will affect your pinion angle. You will want to male sure all of your ujoints cancel out. That's going to be an interesting splice joint with the frames meeting at halfway points in height. Your kidneys will thank you for going with 84" ca instead of 60". I love my tradesman. These trucks are hosses. I got the spray in liner w 115v outlet in the bed and the bigger touchscreen. Out the door paperwork and all included, that truck was only 49,500. 112,000 miles and haven’t had a single problem

    Gary, those are foreign manufactured knockoffs. I wouldn’t recommend using them. There’s a big write up on this over at Geno’s Garage and TDR. eBay and Amazon are flooded with real looking imitation filters from overseas. I’ve pulled several fakes off of trucks that caused no-start issues and fuel system restrictions immediately after install.
