Labs contain several types of protective equipment such as biological safety cabinets for infectious organisms, chemical fume hoods for chemicals and downdraft hoods in the histology lab. After the application deadline has closed, top candidates will be invited to participate in Multiple Mini Interviews (details on what that involves here: bit.ly/2KnQpyX). After interviews, applicants will be notified if they have been accepted, are on the waitlist or not receiving an offer of admission at that time. Because we receive a large number of applications and our program sizes are rather small, the process is somewhat competitive. Hope that answers your questions!
