I bought the Big Bite for scrap booking pages although I use it for cards and tags. I think I'd be better off with the handheld. I need to reread instructions. Have to bend over almost upside down trying to line up the eyelet. Learning curve for sure.
you didnt show me how to set up the blocks in the big bite to set a eyelet! I have a blue handle Crop A Dile 2 Big Bite and my tool does not look like your big bite. For one thing my Big Bite only has two things on the top block. The other two sides are flat. The bottom block are now color coded, not numbered. Also I have found that the bottom block move up and down and side to side. What is the purpose of that and how do I use that feature when I need to set up an eyelet or a gromet? What is the purpose of the eyelet ruler and how do I use it? I would appreciate you spending less time showing the obvious 12" reach of the Big Bite and the prowess of both tools in the types of media they can punch through and spend more time on actually using the thing because the instructions that come with the tools are useless and I cannot find any other videos that show me how to use this tool.
I have a question, those replacement cubes I keep seeing, are they for both thr cropadile I and the II the big bite? I feel like I should buy a replacement pair to have on hand in case I attempt punching something that will end up damaging it. The instructions are a bit vague, they don't indicate the actual strength of material so I feel the risk is high of punching something too thick one day
Hello! The replacement cubes are only for the Crop-A-Dile Eyelet and Snap Punch Tool, which can be found here: www.scrapbook.com/store/wr-70907-7.html The replacement cubes are only needed if you're getting uneven crimping on your punches. Hope this helps!
Oh and another question, I just bought my tool on ebay and from what I saw there's no instruction booklet with it. I've found a few images online but does anyone know of a pdf that has the entire set of instructions for the big bite? I'd appreciate it

Someone really needs to do an over haul on the instructions and how to use this tool. For example, what is a round embellishment versus a flat embellishment. You are assuming, I guess, that we should know the difference. Another issue, that really bothers me, and I wouldn’t have bought this had I known that I had to use eyelets specific to this tool. As a result, you can jack the prices up to whatever you want without the threat of competition. And we are stuck paying top dollar, without any choice. I am a tool user and still, after 5 videos, plus the instruction(?) sheet, I don’t know how to use this tool.
