In an intimate setting like that they were probably told not to get too hype or paid a good amount of money to not experience a music festival setting with everyone jumping on each other. I personally spend and extra 200-300 to not be in the crowd bc fuck them.

I thought the same thing the first time I heard them live. It turns out Aaron is 80% deaf in his left ear (since birth) so that explains most of it. Plus, he's totally against vocal tuning of any kind. At least it's authentic though.

Yeah vocals leave a little to be desired. At least it sounds different than the album version. I went to an Eagles concert a few years ago and they sing so well (despite their high age) that some songs were indistinguishable from the album versions. Part of my was thinking that I might as well be sitting at home in a comfortable chair to listen to it.
