Только что просмотрев понял что я просто слюнтяй .Четыре года на улице и остаться человеком -это просто фантастика. Быть одиноким,брошеным среди огромного количества людей это же ужас.А эта девушка находит в себе силы писать и вообще не быть озлобленной на людей,на жизнь.
Знаете, я сама незрячая девушка и с мужем мы этим летом прошли через Мексику в США, из Москвы, просто в одних джинсах сорвались, сейчас мы в Лос Анджелесе, часто голодаем, сложно с работой, без языка, без машины, не знаю как сможем платить за комнату, может тоже на улице будем. Но оставаться уже не могли в РФ, сделали Ютуб и не поверите, в основном один хейт, я уже устала удалять. Здесь совсем другая планета и люди, в РФ затравили меня, скорая отказывалась трое суток забирать с 39,5 . А в США мне на Бордер трёх врачей сразу вызвали.#художниквсша

We have an abundance of resources, scarcity is a myth perpetuated by corrupt capitalists who seek to commodify everything and make themselves rich. Our economic system requires that poor people stay poor, whilst the rich continue to get richer. Capitalism is inherently terrible. Working class people are no longer represented in their governments and governments are owned and controlled by corporations. Corporations have rigged the entire economy and our democracies in their favour. There's more empty homes in our world than there are homeless people. What sense does that make? The 'Market' can't fix this problem, we need affordable or free housing for all as a human right. I hope I've cleared up my position on the matter. Now, let's see if people are willing to put their money where there mouths are and abolish Capitalism once and for all and advocate for moving to a post capitalist society where no one is forced to live in poverty so that a handful of men can become trillionaires! ✌️
There will always be homeless because there are mostly people who may not *want* to be out there, but their choices continually lead them there regardless. Most homeless people aren't on their first trip on the streets. We will have to have true post-scarcity societies where these people can come get whatever they want for free with no questions asked, or there'll be homeless. But that is a very long way off, infants born today won't even come close to seeing it.
For those who do not yet know Natasha contacted 'invisible people' some years later saying she is not homeless and jobless anymore. May she be kept safe all her life.

There is pretty much always more to lose. Not sure why that would be a reason to smile. Her situation did improve, she won't get quite everything she wants, and millions and millions of people continue die on the streets (religious or not, blessings or no no blessings).

I thought that’s why religion has tax-exempt status, because they are a benefit to the community? I guess only if you belong to the right religious group. I’m sorry, I am a horrible liar. @@Bat_Boy - Well that certainly is disgusting. As far as being tax exempt, there seems to be a number of reasons.. like, the separation of church and state (I don't know the details entirely though). We don't want religions getting involved in government, as much as we can manage to do that, and they don't pay taxes. If that must be the arrangement, then I think that is definitely worth it. But, we could surely also have them pay taxes (if they fit a certain criteria), and then also not have them be part of government. I like that idea! Then there's like, charity status and not-for-profit businesses.... I'd need to look more into that, but it sure seems to me that a LOT of churches and the such are VERY for profit in how they operate, and are hardly a "charity". But anyhoo, I don't know the specifics here.

People are more afraid, that a person who they think does not deserve it, gets their help, than they are that a person who would deserve help not getting it. The main goal should be to get them off the streets. The ones who have the highest chance of making it should always get the beneficial treatment, since it opens resources for the rest.

That is not the question. If she was lying in one, then how can you know that she did not lie about the rest. This is the problem with drug addicts. They ask for money for a shelter, and then spend everything on drugs and sleep on the street. Or may be they are not homeless at all. Meanwhile somebody really needs to help.
maybe you should know of what you speak before calling someone names. I have been homeless in london and hostels do not charge and if they do its about £5 at the most pret benjys and dunkin doughnuts all used to give away food free now i believe pret are the only ones. The reason she says £24 is because it results in alot of people giving her £10 and £20 notes and you can make alot of money this way begging is very profitable. Most of the time people beg for drugs or booze not for food and never for hostels. she is lying. the people that really need help are the ones with bags on their feet who go through bins for food

Theres no reason why she shouldn't be entitled to universal credit, no idea why shes not receiving any and if she does apply for it she would be entitled to housing benefit. Something doesn't make sense here
@@jasonf4981 the system doesn't make sense. Sadly there are plenty of people working in the system sabotaging it. Besides the system itself beeing flawed. People without job can get a warning and next time a 10% reduced income (but still full rent payment) if they are skipping a date without a doctor's note. People disabled to work cannot cancel a date with a doctors note. If they catch the flu or land themselves in hospital and cannot show up - they don't get any income, no rent, nothing. (And in the following also no medical insurance.) Guess how long it takes till your landlord throws you out when you cannot pay. I had several months following illness not getting anything, having to beg; because of my disability I could not work. And I even know the system and have an attorney for a brother. Still. For a timid uneducated person without any social support on the other hand...I am not surprised there are homeless people.

I was homeless for 3 years. Married two children, my wife died I couldn't cope, social services took the kids. Rightly so. Council took my house after I couldn't afford the rent with quitting work. And I fell, I tried killing myself by tying a rock to my feet and throwing myself off a bridge. T last thing I remember is feeling the water pour inside my lungs as I let myself go. But I awoke, inside a hospital. I was then sectioned for 16months. Inside I got help, and I was allowed to see my children in visits. But I'm glad to say We are now all together in one roof 5 years on. Only when you go to the extremes of killing yourself do people stop and realise that you need help. When your homeless. People can't wait to throw change at you and run away. Out of sight out of mind. Just remember a person without a home is still a person.

I read below how she's now living a normal life now - home, family etc. Brilliant. The smile says everything about her. All it takes is one piece of bad luck and you could be there. I know very well that you could pick her up and plant her in a different upbringing and she'd be a major success. I hope she resumes her writing. It doesn't matter though, whatever makes her happy.

@@Siberius- - I was turned down from a transition home because I wasn’t a Christian, and they pray to God daily, and have study classes. I thought that’s why religion has tax-exempt status, because they are a benefit to the community? I guess only if you belong to the right religious group.
I’m sorry, I am a horrible liar. I would not be able to fake read and pray to a god I don’t believe in. And yet, people insist we want to remain on the streets because we like it.

As far as being tax exempt, there seems to be a number of reasons.. like, the separation of church and state (I don't know the details entirely though). We don't want religions getting involved in government, as much as we can manage to do that, and they don't pay taxes.
If that must be the arrangement, then I think that is definitely worth it.
But, we could surely also have them pay taxes (if they fit a certain criteria), and then also not have them be part of government. I like that idea!
Then there's like, charity status and not-for-profit businesses....
I'd need to look more into that, but it sure seems to me that a LOT of churches and the such are VERY for profit in how they operate, and are hardly a "charity".
But anyhoo, I don't know the specifics here.

That is not the question. If she was lying in one, then how can you know that she did not lie about the rest. This is the problem with drug addicts. They ask for money for a shelter, and then spend everything on drugs and sleep on the street. Or may be they are not homeless at all. Meanwhile somebody really needs to help.

I have been homeless in london and hostels do not charge and if they do its about £5 at the most pret benjys and dunkin doughnuts all used to give away food free now i believe pret are the only ones. The reason she says £24 is because it results in alot of people giving her £10 and £20 notes and you can make alot of money this way begging is very profitable. Most of the time people beg for drugs or booze not for food and never for hostels. she is lying. the people that really need help are the ones with bags on their feet who go through bins for food

@@jasonf4981 the system doesn't make sense. Sadly there are plenty of people working in the system sabotaging it. Besides the system itself beeing flawed.
People without job can get a warning and next time a 10% reduced income (but still full rent payment) if they are skipping a date without a doctor's note.
People disabled to work cannot cancel a date with a doctors note. If they catch the flu or land themselves in hospital and cannot show up - they don't get any income, no rent, nothing. (And in the following also no medical insurance.) Guess how long it takes till your landlord throws you out when you cannot pay.
I had several months following illness not getting anything, having to beg; because of my disability I could not work. And I even know the system and have an attorney for a brother. Still. For a timid uneducated person without any social support on the other hand...I am not surprised there are homeless people.

I was homeless for 3 years. Married two children, my wife died I couldn't cope, social services took the kids. Rightly so. Council took my house after I couldn't afford the rent with quitting work. And I fell, I tried killing myself by tying a rock to my feet and throwing myself off a bridge. T last thing I remember is feeling the water pour inside my lungs as I let myself go. But I awoke, inside a hospital. I was then sectioned for 16months. Inside I got help, and I was allowed to see my children in visits. But I'm glad to say We are now all together in one roof 5 years on. Only when you go to the extremes of killing yourself do people stop and realise that you need help. When your homeless. People can't wait to throw change at you and run away. Out of sight out of mind. Just remember a person without a home is still a person.

I read below how she's now living a normal life now - home, family etc. Brilliant.
The smile says everything about her. All it takes is one piece of bad luck and you could be there. I know very well that you could pick her up and plant her in a different upbringing and she'd be a major success.
