I wish they would clarify the castor oil bit. Personally, I think if it was really jbco they would have been quick to include that in the ingredient list bc it’s better marketing so they’re probably just using basic refined castor oil ironically. Still obviously the superior product.

The mielle oil I believe is causing bald spots and hair thinning for me because it itches and burns most of the time and I only noticed my hair changing for the worst. I do think it’s growing my hair fast , but it’s probably too heavy or strong for scalp , maybe I’m using too much of it.
I put it away for a couple of months and I’m greasing my scalp with blue magic to try to get my hair back thicker in the front .

  • @reallycoolintrovert

Purchased! This sunny isle ingredient list is so much better than Mielle ingredients. Mielle smells like cisco cooking grease or something after it settles on the hair🤢 This one actually smells like herbs and the scent is not unpleasant after it settles. Sunny Isle should sponsor you if they aren't already doing so.

I’ve never been led to try Mielle’s products. What discouraged me from purchasing any of their products is when I saw their response from a RUclipsr that expressed their opinion about their products in a review video.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion and experiences products differently. That turned me off when they did that.
I sell hair oil and respect other’s feedback, my reviews are 5 ⭐️ from clients. However, I’ve had a few comments where the customer said the smell was too strong for them but it works and one that didn’t like an ingredient I have in my product. Compared to the reviews that other clients, it threw me for a loop. I respected their feedback because that’s what I want. I’d never bash someone for what they feel is true to them. Not everyone likes natural fragrances that I love.

Surprisingly, there are little to no videos on the comparison of Mielle and Sunny Isle Rosemary Mint oil but yours. I ordered the Mielle and the sunny isle today. Which will be the first time ever using each. I am assuming it’s going to take a couple of months before I see a difference with the products. I’m thinking about using the Mielle on the right side of my scalp and the Sunny Isle on my left for comparison. That’s really the only way for me to accurately check and see which brand works the best. Thanks a lot for the detailed video and comparison. Actually, I had no idea about the Sunny Isle Rosemary Mint until I ran across your video. I will update after a month or so after using both brands and let u know which one I prefer to the other. I just wish other RUclipsrs will make videos regarding Sunny Isle!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Oh, btw I prefer thicker oils myself. I’m high porosity 3c4a girl

@@hi.goodbye2167 girl I didn’t last that long to see any visible results from either product. Actually, I wasn’t impressed with either. So I stopped. And no to answer your question they both were a no go. As a matter of fact both oils had my scalp so sore that I was determined to find out why. Now I know , I can no longer oil my scalp. When I stopped with the pilling my scalp miraculously is no longer sore. Which is a God send within itself! 🙏

The Sunny Isle is definitely a better quality than Mielle. The sunny isle is thicker and the scent is so strong . They have a lighter ingredient oil for fine hair I wonder if that is also better than Mielle also.

FYI there are many high end hair products that use soybean oil in them. IDK if mielle use soybean oil because it's cheap or not but soybean oil has lots of good benefits when it come to the hair and skin ,most people are not aware of this. Don't sleep on it ,do some research ,I think you'll be surprised

I bought 2 of these during their $5 sale a few years ago and I stil have a full bottle and most of the other one. I don’t think it did anything for me at all so I was surprised that people are going crazy over it now. Jbco also didn’t do anything for me and still have a bunch of it left also. Now I’m seeing a dermatologist so maybe that’s what will finally give me some results.

I bought some stuff using your link - the Rosemary Mint Butter and Oil, Lavender Butter, Intensive Repair Masque, and a few other things. Girl, thanks for putting me onto this brand. I stopped doing twist-outs because they were a total fail. My twist-outs were being so stubborn, haha... but this butter totally won me over. I'm a fan of twist-outs on my hair, again. My hair is looking pretty moisturized, hydrated, and has shine! Even cooler, I didn't have to use a leave-in...
