Now this is what you call a return to form. Haven't been massively keen on some of the musical diversions they've gone through over the years, but this is a firm reminder that they have serious production skills and really know how to write solid / memorable hooks & melodies. Cant wait to hear the album, the hype is real.

Your comment is only wrong when you mention production skills. Whether you hate or love the music they create. These two are ALWAYS giving their all in the studio. I definetaly love what theyre doing at the moment though.

@@matthoward598 i read the OP clearly giving credit to their production skills frankly man. I disagree with any critique of C&S (to my belief) honest exploration of music, but I don't think the OP was actually begrudging their production skill, frankly that would be incredulous.
To me, while I never appreciated these two fucking geniuses 20 years ago as much, after their seemingly honest foray into related genres (track with Frisco is IMO is absolutely the most underrated of all time, in any percussive format), I cannot cease to be impressed as they return to their roots. Popularity of "dnb" not withstanding, I choose to believe they come back home honestly and more than faithfully. Hell look at all the old producers and DJs milking it lately, it's destroyed more than one legacy, and frankly, it's an embarassing cash grab without pride is invested.
Chase and Status may no longer be kids (who of us is?), and haircuts may be occasionally questionable, but frankly, the music keeps on, as if it never stopped. I don't think these two fucks ever got distracted by the pathetically changing times frankly, and thank fucking god.

The C& S track also has some sample in it i cant figure where from but would be going back to the really old skool days pre 93 try my playlist out here for a sample. Its not exhaustive just a few i slammed into a Play list whenever i could i sure some annoraks would add more than a few more to it but these were the trax i enjoyed raving to back in the day.
