Actually what Starlight did was smart. She had to dip. She can’t help nobody if she’s locked up with everybody else. They need one person on the outside. Live to fight another day
Actually I think Cindy was planning on killing or knocking starlight out. Notice how the only two supes on the team are left behind while the other three are taken into the van. They probably getting taken to the internment camps. Now the leading question is if they are gonna try to kill kimiko or leave her be. Which will give us a clearer question to the kill or knockout questions for Annie.
Before she flew away Hughie told her with that face expression to run, she had no other way but to bail and try to save later on.
Yep. It's impossible to imagine how Starlight engaging could have helped ANYONE at that point. Joe has taken control of Butcher. Ryan is MIA and is strongly conflicted. We don't know what happened to Ashley - I'm sure she's alive, but she did make it out, or was she captured?
Everyone else has been taken. Other than A-Train, Starlight is the only one on the team that's free. Risking herself for this fight would have been absolute insanity.
I think the scariest person in the entire series is not actually Homelander, but Cate. Doesn't it seem odd that Cindy and Love Sausage are "willingly" helping the company that kidnapped and tortured them?
We know Cate and Sam have been doing *something* for Vought while Season 4 has been happening, and I think now it's pretty clear what they've been busy with - they track down supes, Sam neutralizes, and Cate reprograms.

@@camannwordsmith I actually have a different interpretation of why Cindy is there. Vought, and now the United states itself, is ruled by Homelander, the one person involved with Vought international that is absolutely intolerant of child experimentation. Once Cindy learned that the new big boss killed a lot of the child experimentation guys in episode 4 and intends to discontinue all of it, purposefully got Edgar ejected from the company and put in jail, and is currently going against the Boys, she'd have no real reason to stay away from them outside of emotional trauma that could've been dealt with off-screen.
That being said, your idea is way more likely based on the way the show is written.
Sage is legitimately more terrifying than Homelander at this point. He won't question anything she asks him to do now.
She's a REAL problem for the boys🤯, can't wait to see what she does in season 5!
The wild thing is, that's not even a crazy statement to make, which is terrifying. Sage can do all the thinking for him, and together those two are going to being Hell on Earth for the Boys

I'm not sure what impression YOU got from "Next time, listen to me", but the show is clearly trying to imply that Homelander is going to trust her more than anyone from now on, because he legitimately regrets firing her.

You guys reaction to Kimiko and Frenchie finally kissing has been my fave out of the reactions I've seen. The signs were there I knew even when they kissed in the hospital because they were both smiling when the other one was not in the room. And when she tells him she loves him back in episode 1, his eyes were so happy.
It's gonna be all out war with the Supes in Season 5. Gen V Season 2 next year will be the intro.
Cate and Sam are long gone by now. They definitely hate humans more than Homelander himself.
And if we follow the comics, which they normal don't, Bucther is gonna take out every single Supe to get to Homelander.
There were some promise where each character escaped their season 3 and Frenchie says "Mon coeur kissed me" and he said it with a smile and satisfied laugh and I knew there had to be a moment this season that it would happen for sure.

Kimiko's sign language does have subtitles by default even if you don't have subtitles on. Idk what you did to make it not work but you're the second channel I've seen have that problem. Just know the subtitles are supposed to be there
Yeah we realized this way too late 😅, not sure why that would even be a setting on Prime, but we will have it right next time 👍
Yeah for me when I watched it on prime I had to disabled subtitles and reenable them for it to work.
We all wanted Kimiko to get her voice back... was it worth it?

NOBODY can perfectly guess and understand everysingle thing, everysingle time the second it's introduced in a developing story. Even actors themselves during interviews get things wrong. Sage is probably the best character in season 4 and yet we still don’t know what her endgame is cause she knows Homelander is emotionally unstable and can’t control him for long so she could have backup plans for when the boys or butcher will take him out
We became quick fans of Sage, can't wait to see what she has planned!!

one more thing we spent the whole season assuming nueman was gonna die anyway idk why its so shocking and heartbreaking now lol just becuase there was 10 minutes where she was switching sides and we knew soldier boy was alive they showed us vought recovering him and putting him in the halothane tank
I think Butcher killing Neuman when she wanted to make a truce with Hughie was the right call.
She was a pretty good pathological liar, and a master manipulator. Not one thing gave me reassurance she wouldn't betray them at a later point. She's murdered several people without much regret or thought, including half of congress. Now she's got Zoe coldly offing people too. Trusting the Boys with Zoe as a sign of trust would've meant more if I wasn't certain the brat could kill each and every one of The Boys. Even Kimiko couldn't grapple with her FFS. And from the look on her face I'm willing to bet she would've tried it just for kicks. That's too many loose ends and uncertainties.
Gen V season 2 doesn't come out until next year. 😢

I'm pretty sure Soldier Boy cannot by killed. The Russians tried it for decades. Homelander maybe stronger but not as durable as Soldier Boy.
