25 Worst value for money DC Omnibus

- We've covered the Worst Value For Money Marvel Omnibuses, so now it's time to take a look at DC Comics! With so many great omnibus already released, and the cover price always steadily creeping up with not much change to the page count, these 25 books have the worst value when you look at the facts.
I like doing these type of lists, and plan to cover Absolute Editions in future. These are always just for fun, so don't take it too seriously if you're favourite omnibus made it on to the list!

Probably marvel for the actual quality of the omnibus but i like DC more.

I have all three Perez WW Omnis, but I got each of them for less than $60 at CGN.

I've moved every year for more than a decade. I really envy omnibus readers and collectors. Have to keep things digital.
I have batmann66 and new52 wonder woman from this list and have to say I'm quite happy to own them and they are certainly worth it to me.
I like these lists, but interested to see how this list would change. If we based this on price per page vs what we actually pay for the books. Like WW War of the Gods, bad price per page at 100, but at 48 is it bad?
Let's face it we rarely pay MSRP for these books.
I’ve got the Deathstroke omnibus which I got for £37. Thank Christ. And the WonderWoman by Azzerello for £68. Both are fabulous reads. Woof Woof!
I agree about the WW omnis by Perez but i got the whole set for 150€ all in so for me at least it went well..WOOF WOOF !!)))

I think DC 's Golden / Silver / Bronze Age also needs to be looked at.
For example Wonder Woman GA vol. 1 and vol. 2 has cover price of 75$
Vol.3 has cover price of 125$
Vol.4 has cover price of 150$ - which is 50$ more than Perez Omnis, when they all have similar page counts.

hiya. im getting back into comics since i was little, an was wondering should i just buy omni's or na?
Omnis are spendy if you buy them at full price so I suggest starting out with your favorite characters or creators and buy from either IST, CGN and Amazon IF you can get a good deal.
It's a best way to collect and read comics, as these bad boys contains full runs, so yes, but don't buy at full price. If you are in USA, you you have InStockTrades for that.
what if I have most of these for much lower than cover price, are they still worst value for money?
some of those omnibus were expensive because the art had to be restored
to be fair to the wonder woman by perez series on a price per word value they are actually quite cheap. Those are some wordy omnibus.
Compared to manga omnibuses, these are extremely expensive. Normally you can expect 1000+ pages at about $45 (Using the Hellsing Deluxe omnibuses as an example).

If you rank words per dollar, or time needed to read them, those George Perez Wonder Woman omnis would dissapear from the list :-)
WOOF WOOF! I've only got 3 on the top 25, though my personal worst value for money omnibus is the Superman/Batman Vol. 1, as I picked it up after it went out of print for a period, paying $185 for it. My personal best value for money is JSA Vol 2, brand new for $68.
