After listening to Jen McCabe’s full testimony, I kept thinking about the Skyler Neese case and I finally figured out why… Skyler was a HS student who was murdered by her two ‘best’ friends. One of the two girls embedded herself in Skyler’s parent’s lives prior to her body being found. Handed out missing flyer’s, organized searches, and was over their house all the time, offering comfort and grieving with them. Skyler was their only child so of course they welcomed her ‘best’ friend in, and they comforted her too. They couldn’t believe it at first when the investigation led to her and then they were left feeling victimized twice. Was it guilt or was she trying to stay close so she had the details of the investigation? Either way, it further traumatized this lovely couple that had just lost their only child. It sounds like the McCabe’s have gotten a lot closer to the O’Keefe family since John’s passing- just like they have with Kerry Roberts. I completely understand the family believing the narrative of fellow cops and ‘friends’ and I can’t imagine how difficult this testimony and new evidence has been to process. It also precluded them from being able to grieve with the one person who clearly loved him as much as they did. You wouldn’t be that panicked and hysterical out of worry if you didn’t love them- and you most certainly would not return to the scene if you hit them intentionally. The prosecution’s case makes no sense to me. My heart goes out to the O’Keefe family, John deserved better and the disrespect is compounded by the fact that they are pinning it on the person he was planning a future with. Justice for John AND Karen!!

As a former competitive gymnast and dancer, she reminds me of a cheer mom still living out her high school years. All of the “McAlberts” give off that energy. The ever changing stories, butt dials, and rehomed phones are unbelievable. Literally. I’ve been watching the select committee meetings from Canton and they are trying their damndest to get “their people” on the police audit. It’s been highly contentious. I live about as far away from Canton as you can get in the contiguous 48 states, but I am fully invested in watching as this beautiful town fights to root out the corruption. It’s inspiring to see how passionate the locals are.

When Karen called them and went looking for/found John found and was fast and loose w her words in her panic and not realizing the 🐍🐍🐍she was surrounded by, it was a happy accident. They sectioned her as a means to get her blood alcohol level. But she hadn’t drove to the site, so who’s to say she didn’t drink at home after the bar?
What I find interesting is there are a bunch of people who parked in that spot. The other things that struck me was how many people "rehomed" their phones, the dog that was rehomed after JO's death, that everyone was drunk af and LE that were driving drunk, the ATF agent who claimed he was too drunk to go to work but went to work to move vehicles in the middle of the night, that no one saw KR drinking much or even knew what she was drinking, that the couple looked like they were happy and had a lot of PDA that night but yet the this woman said she didn't see KR and JO talking, that the ATF agent (I refuse to use his name) used FBI resources to extract certain information instead of just turning over his whole phone and destroyed his phone by going onto a military base which has higher security... I'm sure there's more but this is enough for me (if I was a juror) to give a verdict "not guilty". Something is off with this whole trial.

9:30 Jen has a very good memory. She distinctly remembers saying "Why don't you come with me?" and corrects the lawyer about "You are coming with me." Which then contrasts with the convenient amnesia during the inculpatory questions.
There are NOT that many people involved who know the absolute truth. The others have been manipulated. There are inly a handful at the top. The jury needs to understand this.
That’s what I believe. I believe only a few, across different agencies, and even within the family, not the entire agencies, not even the entire family, or everyone there that night, just a few and the rest either believe what they have been told, or are just going with what they’ve been told.

I disagree. Every. Single. One. of the prosecution's witnesses have been evasive and would not answer the questions without being refreshed on their prior statements. Whenever they are asked about prior statements they want to see the transcript or they will not say they said something - UNLESS - they believe it is in their best interest. Then they can answer clearly and confidently. So no it isn't just her.

You missed a very interesting and important detail from her direct. At one point she is describing the morning after, just got the news from Karen that John was missing, she said ”I remembered that Chris Albert had still been at the bar (when she left), so I thought maybe John had walked home with Chris, because Chris lives near the waterfall”. Yet she claims that she saw Karen and John in the car outside of 34 Fairview. Why would her first thought be that John could have walked from The waterfall directly home to Chris Albert if she actually saw him in the car outside the house after they left The waterfall? I am not sure what I think happened to John, but she and many others are with 100% certainty lying on the stand.

I think Jennifer McCabe & Brian Albert, Sr. are the two ring leaders with JM being the public face. It seems that there is enough reasonable doubt already to acquit KR. Can the jury do an initial poll when time for deliberations and be out of there in 10 minutes.
A jury has the ability to nullify the charges. If a jury is given instructions to choose from a list the court gives them, the jury is already tainted .

And so he told his wife not to take Karen's vehicle because they had a tail light put? There is alot of energy and things to discuss in this case. For me it all boils down to these factors: 1. Her tail light was intact at 5 am. ( I DID comparison w same model of car at night showing details of THAT tail light and how her tail light was CLEARLY fully intact at 5 am video hours after he was dropped off) 2. 530 video state showed her leaving w Jen and did NOT leave any footprints at her tail light. 3. 630 video shows fresh footprints at her tail light after more snow fell since the 530 video amount. THESE prints at her tail light also have prints down the driveway. KR had left w Jen and did not return went to hospital from there so could NOT have made the prints that were made between 530 and 630 am. 4. 830 video of cops who made a fake ruse to go to Johns house to pretend to check on kids that of course the families already dealt with and no one asked them or gave concern kids were there at the now empty house. THE dash cam of the cops video NOW SHOWS her tail light missing. So they can say it was in fact broken before they hauled it in. THE person who made the footprints after KR left w Jen and before Camerano picked up Kaylee at 630am ish, is the one who broke her tail light and collected the pieces to plant at the scene. 5. The health fit app that shows John arrived, got out of the car, walked over 80 feet consistent w distance from curb to door, went up and down stairs and more... 7. Google search that has unique identifier codes for each search time. HOS long to die in snow. WHY WOULD she type how long to die instead of how to help someone w hypothermia. YUP that's it for me. She did not do it. DONT care if she was so drunk she could not walk...evidence is what matters.
There's no doubt in my mind that she burst into that bedroom while Karen was screaming outside and said "She thinks she hit him!" That was when the narrative shifted to "Nobody saw him" in order to make Karen look guilty. No doubt.

They were probably going to go with John drank with us and then left, we don't know who picked him up, we went to sleep. They thought he'd be found in the morning at 9 or 10am and maybe everyone would assume he was hit by a plow or car. Karen ruined that plan by directing attention to the house with a McAlbert in tow only hours later. They were all presented with a new scenario and ran with it .
On top of them protecting eachother, the police never investigated them so it gave them so much time. Too many coincidences and butt dials for it to be what the prosecution is alleging!

Hi from the UK, so pleased you mentioned Jen's demeanour. I picked up immediately that she is a person you don't want to upset. Absolutely nothing about her shows empathy, instead all I see is arrogance, entitlement and sheer detrrmination to do or say anything to get Karen Reid locked up. Lets face it, her husband doesn't appear as being the sharpest tool in the tool box, can definantely tell he with others will do exactky what they are told by Jen.

She calls Officer John O'keefe her friend when in front of his family and questioned by Karens attorneys but when she called 911 she said, "A guy is unconscious on the lawn." Jen never said my friend a LEO is unconscious on my sisters lawn. Why? Because she was trying to distant herself from him and the situation because they were all there that night. These attorneys are very exciting to watch. Remind me of Juan Martinez in the Jodi Arias trial. Maybe just a little less intense. This judge is horrific. She berated a witness yesterday and basically told him she would have to turn the fans off and everyone would have to suffer if they didn’t speak louder. Then she actually turned off the fans! She is definitely tipped a bit in favors towards the prosecution, which is sad because she should remain impartial. A judge in a m*rder trial should never be this obviously biased towards one side.

I recently found out about the Sandra birchmore case the young woman that was in the police explorer program as a teen and was SA statutory raped by a few officers and impregnated by one of them. This happened near canton and Lt Lank and Kevin Albert were also involved in the non investigation of her “suicide.” The officer that had impregnated her was the last one with her and it’s very suspish. Maybe it’s possible John knew too much about Sandra’s mysterious death and they wanted to get rid of him

The other things that struck me was how many people "rehomed" their phones, the dog that was rehomed after JO's death, that everyone was drunk af and LE that were driving drunk, the ATF agent who claimed he was too drunk to go to work but went to work to move vehicles in the middle of the night, that no one saw KR drinking much or even knew what she was drinking, that the couple looked like they were happy and had a lot of PDA that night but yet the this woman said she didn't see KR and JO talking, that the ATF agent (I refuse to use his name) used FBI resources to extract certain information instead of just turning over his whole phone and destroyed his phone by going onto a military base which has higher security... I'm sure there's more but this is enough for me (if I was a juror) to give a verdict "not guilty". Something is off with this whole trial.

I disagree. Every. Single. One. of the prosecution's witnesses have been evasive and would not answer the questions without being refreshed on their prior statements. Whenever they are asked about prior statements they want to see the transcript or they will not say they said something - UNLESS - they believe it is in their best interest. Then they can answer clearly and confidently.
So no it isn't just her.

You missed a very interesting and important detail from her direct. At one point she is describing the morning after, just got the news from Karen that John was missing, she said ”I remembered that Chris Albert had still been at the bar (when she left), so I thought maybe John had walked home with Chris, because Chris lives near the waterfall”. Yet she claims that she saw Karen and John in the car outside of 34 Fairview. Why would her first thought be that John could have walked from The waterfall directly home to Chris Albert if she actually saw him in the car outside the house after they left The waterfall?
I am not sure what I think happened to John, but she and many others are with 100% certainty lying on the stand.
And if the jury believes they are lying they can disregard their entire testimonies. That doesn't leave.much evidence with which to convict KR

There is alot of energy and things to discuss in this case. For me it all boils down to these factors: 1. Her tail light was intact at 5 am. ( I DID comparison w same model of car at night showing details of THAT tail light and how her tail light was CLEARLY fully intact at 5 am video hours after he was dropped off) 2. 530 video state showed her leaving w Jen and did NOT leave any footprints at her tail light. 3. 630 video shows fresh footprints at her tail light after more snow fell since the 530 video amount. THESE prints at her tail light also have prints down the driveway. KR had left w Jen and did not return went to hospital from there so could NOT have made the prints that were made between 530 and 630 am. 4. 830 video of cops who made a fake ruse to go to Johns house to pretend to check on kids that of course the families already dealt with and no one asked them or gave concern kids were there at the now empty house. THE dash cam of the cops video NOW SHOWS her tail light missing. So they can say it was in fact broken before they hauled it in. THE person who made the footprints after KR left w Jen and before Camerano picked up Kaylee at 630am ish, is the one who broke her tail light and collected the pieces to plant at the scene. 5. The health fit app that shows John arrived, got out of the car, walked over 80 feet consistent w distance from curb to door, went up and down stairs and more... 7. Google search that has unique identifier codes for each search time. HOS long to die in snow. WHY WOULD she type how long to die instead of how to help someone w hypothermia. YUP that's it for me. She did not do it. DONT care if she was so drunk she could not walk...evidence is what matters.

There's no doubt in my mind that she burst into that bedroom while Karen was screaming outside and said "She thinks she hit him!" That was when the narrative shifted to "Nobody saw him" in order to make Karen look guilty. No doubt.

These attorneys are very exciting to watch. Remind me of Juan Martinez in the Jodi Arias trial. Maybe just a little less intense. This judge is horrific. She berated a witness yesterday and basically told him she would have to turn the fans off and everyone would have to suffer if they didn’t speak louder. Then she actually turned off the fans! She is definitely tipped a bit in favors towards the prosecution, which is sad because she should remain impartial. A judge in a m*rder trial should never be this obviously biased towards one side.
