That's why it's called hunting...err stalking not shooting. Would love to have been there even if I knew the outcome ahead of time. Which I generally do. Thanks for sharing. And a Happy Belated Birthday to Sash.
am yernin to get bak hom t'north Honestly thought Jonny being a southerner would have just wimped out... hats off sir for braving on and even being a gentleman. Honestly Sasha's cinematography is truly brilliant. He tells the story. Next up, Jonny on a peg in a mankini to stop Sasha leaving. 😂😂 Sasha, you could have real fun with this 😁😁
Incredible views and content... I had a right chuckle at you barefooting the first part and imagined you somewhere in our Swiss alps trying it out 🤣 that is an open challenge to the TGS team BTW. 🔥
Hey Jay, They re Roe Deer. It is an European deer species. The male of the species is sometimes referred to as a roebuck. The roe is a small deer, reddish and grey-brown, and well-adapted to cold environments. The species is widespread in Europe, from the Mediterranean to Scandinavia, from Scotland to the Caucasus, and east to northern Iran and Iraq. The roe deer is a relatively small deer, with a body length of 95-135 cm (3 ft 1 in-4 ft 5 in) throughout its range, and a shoulder height of 63-67 cm (2 ft 1 in-2 ft 2 in), and a weight of 15-35 kg (35-75 lb). Bucks in good conditions develop antlers up to 20-25 cm (8-10 in) long with two or three, rarely even four, points. Unlike most cervids, roe deer begin regrowing antlers almost immediately after they are shed.
Stalking can be so frustrating but it wouldn't be so good if it wasn't. Such a well produced video , thank you. Btw I would've taken you through nettles and thistles too 😂
You went all the way to Yorkshire to stalking? You should have come to Warsash Tuesday afternoon (05/10/21) we had a couple just walk down the road. Send me a link or and email address and I’ll send the video! Also in bare feet your mad ! Great video just the same.
Agreed. She appears to close her eyes, in anticipation of the shot. Considering that those are not brutal calibres to shoot ( .243 Win up to about .308 for those little Roe Deer which are about the size of a Wolfhound) she needs a little time with someone loading her the occasional empty chamber/practice dummy round) which will reveal her trepidation. She is shooting a .308 with 110 grain bullets, so they're about as recoil-friendly as one can get in that cartridge. However, she's still a decent shot, so it's more about fine-tuning than teaching her. Just 1 very common bad habit to fix.
I really enjoy watching deer in the countryside....so the idea of taking pleasure in creeping up on such a beautiful animal and killing it, is completely alien to me.....I know people will say they need to be culled.....I get that....but how this woman can get pleasure from doing this.....I just won’t ever understand......but I guess that’s why we are all different. Besides that, I enjoyed the film because it was beautifully filmed.......but really glad they didn’t kill anything.
I'm curious. Do you also have difficulty understanding how Johnny or Sandy could enjoy such an activity? Or is this a sentiment reserved only for Kayleigh?
Touch sexist that bud! Anyway; your missing the point. It's the 'stalk' that provides the pleasure. It's no different to a fisherman deriving pleasure from catching the food that he puts on 'his' plate.
I don’t understand why you’d be watching videos like this if you don’t like seeing this kind of thing. And I’m not sure what her bring a woman has to do with it…

Thanks Sash for going out on your birthday and making another great film.
Johnny you're a mad man going in your barefeet lol
Another sumptuous film, so atmospheric you can almost smell the air. Kayleigh makes a very patient stalking partner ;)
She was a good sport. Not many people can put up with Jonny and Sash

In the summer, I’d give it a go
@@tgsoutdoors no stalking here in that period!! Going to have to trudge through snow if you want a shot at Chamois 🤪
What type of deer are those? They look half the size of a Whitetail that we have in the USA.
I think they are Roe deer. 60 lbs or so. About the size of a Florida Key deer.

In mid sussex i dont need to go stalking , i just know where the deer are, and there are so many of them you cant help but just bump into them !!.
Big foot reports coming in from Yorkshire: locals baffled

Great way to spend some time.
Now then.... barrel up... or barrel down...? 😂
Down if your over 6’3” for sure

She is flinching. Not got the sound up, so don't know the calibre.
