Easily the most enjoyable RUclips game shooting video I've watched. It captured everything that matters from the shooting day. Please tell Sasha that I get fed up watching Dave Carrie hitting everything- his performance cheered me up no end! Keep up the good work lads!
Most of your subscribers aren't superhuman shotgunners either. I certainly am not. I makes that clip more realistic. And believable. That said, you pulled off some lovely shots ! That first drive was an epic. I certainly haven't experienced anything like that. Someday, maybe.
Amazes me how you guys make it all look so easy. The photography, the content, the confidence and the delivery. Thoroughly enjoy watching TGS Fantastic channel !!

Nostalgia for me. 6o-years of it but on grouse and pheasant beats...many, many thanks.
Fantastic film. First drive had me giddy with Jonny's head and Sasha's camera on a swivel :D A lot of quality birds this late in the season. Very timely as I was beating this weekend in Aylesbury. Great day out and a fine brace to bring home for my troubles.
Great video once again. I did notice one thing Sasha was doing a lot , he was stopping the gun when firing which put him behind the bird. Just a tip and like I was told years ago - Practice - Practise - Practice and practice some more. Thank you for this.
Sounds like you had a great day!my beaters day this year didn’t go quite aswell shooting wise shooting only 2 pheasants for 24 cartridges. But still an enjoyable day!
Bloody brilliant, and a great way to thank people for their support whatever side of the line you might be. Suppose that's the difference with the country. You work together not to climb above one another?? Makes me smile inside guys, and that wood wouldn't look out of place on the Dash of an old Jag ;-)
I also had my first beaters Day this year. I shoot target at Bisley and told friends it was easy to shoot a shot gun, you just point it in the general area and pull the trigger. 😩 I know just how Sasha feels. I hit one bird.😂😂. But had such a great day I've asked for a place in the syndicate for next season. I just need you Jonny to give me a lesson. Great video.
Im new to your channel and already loving the content my kinda lads. Keep up the good work all the best from Scotland. Out picking up tomorrow so better get some kip lol
Johnny: As you get your eyes on a fast crosser, and then throw the gun up you may be letting your eyes come off the bird as you try to see the horizontal barrel lead too, thereby not seeing the bird well enough.
Totally awesome that was a absolute pleasure to watch well done that tgs gun was bloody pretty by the way, you did say in the video you bought your miroku along as well what model do you have I use the high pheasant and will want to take it with me when I turn my feet up
I’d really like to see you review the video and analyse shot selection. I’m not a driven game shooter, but it appeared that solid shots were forfeited in lieu of hasty overly optimistic shots. In any case, keep up the great work.
😂 I’m a loader here and a beater at other places a lot more than I am a gun! Would show more of it in video, but beating isn’t the best spectator sport?
The beaters are where all the real characters are!! But yes not very entertaining to watch although to someone who’s never done or seen it - some of the noises we make would make us all look mental!
Hi John, I was wondering what choke you use when game shooting? I've relatively new to shooting and been watching your videos. I like the sound of a fixed choke gun as with my limited experience I prefer lighter and shorter guns. I don't want to purchase a gun with cylinder choke and it not give me the best versatility. Thanks Jon
I once run out of cartridges on probably the best drive that I have ever shot! It was organised by TGS and I made the mistake of telling Jonny afterwards! 🤦♂️
But of a fit issue, missed with the first, put my head down and pushed through with the second. Also been on that Miroku for 7 years or so, so it’s a strange one using another machine!
That first drive was either special or they put you on a hot peg John:) I can only imagine how good that would have been earlier in the season! You might be a better shot than Sasha but he's a better camera man than you! Nice to hear him mention the legend Dave Carrey . I watch him too:)
Nice video, and its not easy to film shooting and birds actions filmed took timed us doing rabbit control videos ,and its not easy ,look for east anglian pest control on you tube......
Not shot many on first drive 33 confirmed kills and an empty cartrige bag aprox 60-80 shells x 4 drives =130 birds 3oo shots not a slow day x 9 guns = 1170 birds and a bill £50 per bird = a £58500 day not a bad beaters day can you book me in for next year
Someone else who does not know how to shut a gun safely. Stock to barrels, not barrels to stock. It should be made compulsory that all game shooters buy and read ' The gun code' before going into the field. I know of two occasions where a horizontal gun went off accidentally. The first drew blood on a beater, luckily not seriously. The second put the next pegs wife in hospital for quite a while.
what a great advert for game shooting
Thankyou, we do hope so
Easily the most enjoyable RUclips game shooting video I've watched. It captured everything that matters from the shooting day. Please tell Sasha that I get fed up watching Dave Carrie hitting everything- his performance cheered me up no end!

Thankyou for the high praise.
We are not superhuman shotgunners, Sasha even less so!
Most of your subscribers aren't superhuman shotgunners either. I certainly am not. I makes that clip more realistic. And believable.
That said, you pulled off some lovely shots ! That first drive was an epic. I certainly haven't experienced anything like that. Someday, maybe.
Haha Dave Carrie certainly hits evrything
You have captured the real spirit of shooting so well. Well done!!
Thankyou, great to share the enjoyment with everyone else

Wow what an fantastic experience.Nice to see loyal workers being rewarded by their employer.A great time had by all. Keep up the tradition.
That was absolutely epic!
Thank you from across the pond for a look into this!
Same!
Great video guys! Nice to see the beaters getting looked after on a tremendous shoot with still loads of birds about.👍🏻
Make a feature series. Full on documentary type. Anyone aught to put you in for award. I’d purchase, watch, and keep with pride.
Choice of music was excellent on this one. Great comical entertainment nice to see you all having fun in the field.
I thought that was one of the best videos you guys have put out.
One of your best videos! At a boy Sasha!! Dayum that first drive, Jonny!! Can’t wait till next season!! Great work all of you!!!
Thankyou Mr V! Looking forward to seeing you again soon.
You had more birds on the first drive than I had all day today! Nice work
That was bloody beautiful!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I absolutely love these videos.
What a great video. Brings back memories from my youth hunting with my dad. Well Done!
Because Sasha’s ability with a gun is childlike? 😂
Got chills watching this! Well done!
Thankyou, glad you enjoyed it
I love your enthusiasm. Excellent video.
Thanks Kelly
Brilliant film, you have captured the day perfectly! Don't suppose we will get as much shooting on our Beaters day!
First drive looked amazing, very jealous..! Great vid chaps.
Thankyou mate, was an amazing day!
Best video to date in my opinion a massive 👍
Thankyou David
Fantastic day, true spirit of shooting.😁
Excellent video, thoroughly enjoyed it. What a first drive! 👍👏
Thankyou. I’ll Remember that one for a while, even though I didn’t do it justice.

Be going back next season?
@@tgsoutdoors Oh, most definitely 😎
Great looking day out with good company by the look of it!
The best!

Probably your best video to date !!
Well boys looked a fantastic beaters day . Great video . Well done 👌👍
Was brilliant mate! Can’t wait for next year

Outstanding!!

Makes me smile inside guys, and that wood wouldn't look out of place on the Dash of an old Jag ;-)
Damn it, you’ve discovered the source of Yildiz stock blanks - the old jag factory
Is there such a thing as too much fun? That was a great day to be with friends.
Never such a thing as too much fun! You need a lot of fun to remember during the significantly less fun times right?
What a great Video. I love the music. Waidmannsheil from Germany 👍🌳🌲
Thankyou
15:24 - Sasha’s cherry popped! The money shot 😂
Took long enough! Had to dub out the actual reaction to it, such a surprise
He’s one of us!
Well done Sasha!
🎊
This is a brilliant video! Well done mate 👍
Thankyou Ryan

As an American I love this and wish to hell I could have a shooting vacation just like this.
very well put together; thanks

Guy Richie vibe to the edit love it!
I’m sure Sasha is blushing
Johnny: As you get your eyes on a fast crosser, and then throw the gun up you may be letting your eyes come off the bird as you try to see the horizontal barrel lead too, thereby not seeing the bird well enough.
An excellent film. Well done.
Thanks Felix
Loving the jumper and waistcoat! Can I ask what brands they are?
Totally awesome that was a absolute pleasure to watch well done that tgs gun was bloody pretty by the way, you did say in the video you bought your miroku along as well what model do you have I use the high pheasant and will want to take it with me when I turn my feet up
Just an Old MK38 with a few mods. Love the thing, but fancied a new one that will take steel
@@tgsoutdoors yeah can understand that for sure that tgs gun is bloody lovely. Will be in touch I would like to put a nice bit of wood on my miroku
Does it not have nice wood already?
@@tgsoutdoors yeah it's a pretty gun but i just want something really stunning on there
you never disappoint m8 thx again
Amazing video, a pleasure to watch. Quite an extension on his semi auto😂🤷♂️
Just to disguise it as an over and under!
@@tgsoutdoors 😉👍
Loved it.
Great film i really enjoyed it thanks and that TGS gun looks even better out in the field.
Thankyou Moosey
Those were some busy drives!
How many birds do they put down each season?
Best camera work good one
Sasha is the 👑 🎥
I’d really like to see you review the video and analyse shot selection. I’m not a driven game shooter, but it appeared that solid shots were forfeited in lieu of hasty overly optimistic shots. In any case, keep up the great work.
Awesome film. Apart from when jonny was filming 😂👏
Some beaters day that!!
The best
great speakers !!!!!
You had the best drives and give your mate the crap!
😂 nah, he just edited out a lot of his missing #1in60
Haha I thought the same, poor lad was popping off at birds in orbit by the look of it 😂
A W E S O M E ✨
Almost!
Great vid 👏👏👍
Thankyou
Have you ever been beating though?! 🤣🤭 You strike me as more of the gun side of the shoot 👀💷💷
Ps nice video, lovely editing and camera work
😂 I’m a loader here and a beater at other places a lot more than I am a gun!

Today I learned elevensies from the Lord of The Rings is a real thing.
Fantastic job guys! Hopefully John realises now how good Sasha’s filming is....
Sasha = 💎
Great video!

Lovely video. You seemed to be hitting more with the second barrel on that TGS gun. Choke maybe ?
But of a fit issue, missed with the first, put my head down and pushed through with the second.
Also been on that Miroku for 7 years or so, so it’s a strange one using another machine!
Nice double @4:48
And what a day it was ! Got some lovely screen grabs of Zeus there! Nice Camera work Sasha, Jonny stick to shooting with a gun and not a camera mate 😉
Do you do all your film work in-house TGS?
Always captivated by it.
I love shooting
Kudos to the intelligent gentleman who refused a shot at a bird he couldn’t identify.
Why does Ant sound posher when he's all Tweed'd up? 😂
Ant is posh
Nice video!! think Sasha's camera work was a bit better than Johnny's!!
😂 thank god!
What app do you use to edit your videos? Because the editing is great!
What camera was used to film this? The picture is stunning!
What flat cap are you sporting? I’ve got a cap obsession 😅
A Laksen one
What’s the gun you was using it the start it’s beautiful
You need a semi-automatic Browning that's just the American in me great video an thank you for supporting the Shooting Sports
The ultimate question- who beats for the beaters ?😂
The Beaters beat for the beaters, in a roundabout way!
Great to see such conservation based shooting boys..
Sasha is the new head of WJ
Awesome video, really enjoyed that. Just wondering what the gun is you are using?
A TGS and a Beretta
@@tgsoutdoors TGS?
It was all going so well until I seen the auto on a pheasant drive
😂 technically it was running the beating line
16:18 🙄 so, just make sure was that the herringbone or houndstooth floss!? 😂😂
He’s more of a puppytooth kind of guy!
That first drive was either special or they put you on a hot peg John:) I can only imagine how good that would have been earlier in the season!
You might be a better shot than Sasha but he's a better camera man than you! Nice to hear him mention the legend Dave Carrey . I watch him too:)
Luck of the Draw for that first peg, and very lucky it was indeed. That said, the whole drive was extremely well covered! A great day
Sasha is king of the camera - Jonny has no intentions or ability of taking that title from him
What gun was it ?
Nice looking gun, what is it?
The TGS gun
What grade shot are you Johnny
Depends on the day 😂
Love your shooting videos please do more days next year and maybe some grouse and other form of shooting they realy are a pleasure to watch
😂 would love too - if wife and pocket allow!
What gun did you use?
Jonny was on a TGS Pro and Sasha was on a Beretta 686SC
What beretta was sasha shooting
A 686SC with the colour polished off
nice video what is your shotgun ?
A TGS Pro
Any voluntary jobs?
Mines on the 31st I can’t bloody wait love beating and picking up but can’t beat the beaters day highlight of my year by far
It really is one of the best days, beats many a paid day.
Song name at 19:55 ?

Who do you think it is?
hino do brasil

Sorry boss
Great video however your camera man needs to learn to break his gun when hes stood between drives and chatting
