  • Have you heard about the group of South Mississippi turkey poachers who were caught with over 100 illegal turkey kills in one season? This week we interview the Mississippi Game Wardens who dedicated their lives to solving this case. There were over 280 violations involving 14 people, and the violations stretched from their home state of Mississippi to Nebraska, and several states in-between. The wardens answer all of our questions as we get a peek into the dark underworld of poaching -and it’s not as dark as we thought- meaning it could be the person sitting at the restaurant table next to you. It’s a must listen podcast to help protect our beloved wild turkeys. Listen, Learn, and Enjoy!

It's all about bragging rights and kill counts thanks to socal media. There's so many "turkey challenges" throughout the country thanks to social media. It should be outlawed just like the lacey act stopped selling game.

That was an awesome Episode guys! I really enjoyed it and even though I live in Alabama and not Mississippi, I appreciate the efforts put in by the GW’s! We have to all figure out how to keep these turkeys that stay stuck in my brain year round thriving and the population on the incline

We need to change our laws. Trespassers and poachers need to go to jail. If they repeat offend, increase time served etc…. I can’t keep the scumbags off my property. I catch the same assholes year after year and all they get is a ticket

Yes if you go to Kansas you want see a house for miles.. I was trying to remember what state I saw a video of a Game Warden making a arrest on a guy that was poaching turkeys,, I think it was determined he had taken like a 100 and with a rifle with a suppressor.. Great video.

It doesnt make trespassing right. Do you know how bad I would love to go on certain plantations here in South Carolina? But the way I was raised you don't step foot on someone else's property unless you have permission so I think it's funny to see game wardens laughing about catching people and saying you know what they're good people maybe they are but it doesn't make trespassing right unless you have permission

My dad was a Vietnam vet and Louisiana State game warden for 27 years. He was agent of the year in 79 and 87. He kept a souped up mini 14 and a Remington riot shotgun in his work truck at all times. They got used quite often back then for drug busts and raids because they didn’t have to have a warrant. Not to mention every person they come across in the woods has a weapon on them. They’re job is much more dangerous than people know.
